Nov 10, 2010About three days ago i began downloading tango for my evo... Never got to install it because it is STILL installing in the market.. Can someone help me stop it?

General :: App Download Stuck On Downloading Mode
Aug 18, 2013I'm trying to download Life360 & it's stuck in downloading mode when I try to download it throught the play store. Nothing ever dowloads, I just see the horizontal bar with the download indicator "downloading".
When I try to get it downloaded from my computer to my phone by sending the link, I click on the link & get the message that it is already installed but then it starts trying to download the app with the message "Waiting for Wi-Fi". I don't use Wi-FI and I never knew this needed Wi-Fi to download. I dont' care to be charged for Wi-Fi.
How can I get this downloaded and why would I get a message that it is installed but get the above happening (i looked everywhere on my phone & it's not installed)?
General :: Galaxy S2 Is Stuck In Download Mode?
Nov 27, 2012i had ICS installed in my Galaxy S2 by myself using Odin.
I tried to install Jelly bean , but failed and now its in Downloading mode. i dont know what to do know. i tired to install GB stuck which got stuck on Cache.img. i even dont know which stock rom i need. and where i can download it from ?

Samsung I7500 :: Galaxy Stuck In Download Mode
Jan 12, 2010I started a firmware update (using Odin) and, when downloading the amss, samsung says "Bad block table read fail". a lot of times and the progress bar (on Odin) stay locked. And the update cant finish. So, I restart the mobile... but it always come with the "Downloading..." screen. I've tried the recovery mode [vol down] + [start call] + [end call] buttons, but it always go to "Downloading..." screen. I can't exit from the download mode, and the phone doesn't start any more. I've removed the battery, but the same... the "diskette logo" come with "Downloading..." all the times.
So, two questions:
1) About the "bad block" message, I think it's because I left "turned on" the USB debugging. so, I want to start the phone to turn it off again. This make sense?
2) How to get rid of this screen? How to stop the download mode?

Oct 7, 2010I have a Galaxy S running stock ROM. No lag fix no custom ROM no root nothing. Just now I tried going into recovery/download mode to see what features it have by pressing the volume down+home+Power button. Now the phone says "Downloading Do not turn of target! What can I do to solve this problem. Till now I haven't tried to restart the phone? Should I do that?

You navigate with volume UP/DOWN, select with HOME, Menu toggles to "Manual Mode", whatever that it.

Jul 6, 2010I'm responding to an email and I rotate the phone to landscape mode. Once completed, I turn the phone upright and it remained in landscape mode. The only way to get it back was to hit the menu button. I rotated to landscape a few minutes later and now its stuck in that mode, and won't return to portrait at all. I tried removing the battery to no avail.

Jul 19, 2010Today I plugged my phone into my car stereo to listen to pandora.When I unplugged it the headphone icon turned into a headset icon.I have no headset and now it's stuck in headset mode.I cannot hear anyone who calls me, or talk to them.I did a quick search for this problem and found some response that suggested it had to do with the hearing aid function in call setting, but when I went into call setting, the hearing aid option was turned off. I've tried powering down and restarting but that did nothing.I'm running a rooted version of 2.1, i don't remember which one but it based on the last leaked version of 2.1.

Aug 4, 2010I was trying to update my Moment to 2.1, but something went wrong in the update process. I've tried simply restarting the process from the beginning, but that didn't work, and the progress bar still goes nowhere. If I turn the phone on i get a white screen that says "can not find jpg or png" at the top. If I do volume down+call+end, I get the same thing, but under the "can not find" error it says "recovery mode." But that's it. Oct 25, 2010After updating to 2.2 on tmobile when it eventually came to us how ever many weeks ago, all seemed fine untill the phone rebooted and turned back on in airplane mode - try as I did, I couldnt turn it off, none off the different ways to do it seemed to work (home screen widget, long hold on on/off button, settings-wireless and networks-airplane mode off)- I eventually, having called t-mobile who where almost as helpfull as a bag of jelly had to factory reset which did seem to sort it out.The reason I am writting now is because after reading the threads about how often people turn their phones off, I did just this. Low and behold the ruddy airplance mode was on when phone turned back on and same again, couldnt turn it off. I turned the phone on and off for about 10 times and eventually it seemed to work although I couldnt tell you why in that particular instance. Now this isnt a major issue as I do actually keep the phone turned on for the most, but I am obviously tyring to foresee possible future problems..ie battery running out, having to reboot because or a dodgy app etc Id like to know if anyone has any ideas of why this happens and anything I can do to avoid this in future. I did read an old thread on here about airplane mode sticking because of sim card age but not sure why this would make a difference, it was fine with 2.1 and only started happening after the froyo update.

Jul 8, 2010For some reason my Hero got a mind of its own and is now stuck in car mode. Anytime I hit the home key I get the Navigator screen and anytime I answer a call it automatically has the speaker phone on. From my googling I have seen other phones that have had this problem but nothing on the Hero. I called CS and they said they had no idea how to turn it off and to take it into a store to have them look at it. I took it into the store and how did they fix it...they ordered me a new Hero. So apparently they couldn't fix it either. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and were able to fix it so maybe when someone else runs into it they don't have to go through all the fun I have had too.

and one more thing, I can open my magic everytime I use the fastboot command "fastboot oem boot", after that may magic will powered ON but everytime it will be turned off it will stuck to RUU mode. And I need it first to go through fastboot command "fastboot oem boot" just to open my magic.

HTC Magic :: How To Get Into Safe Mode? Stuck After Booting?
Jul 29, 2009I just installed an app (Contact Owner) and once I rebooted my phone, I can never get back into the system.
That shall be the only harmful action that I had done, can I know if there's any way that I can boot into safe mode to uninstall that particular app?
Note:I read some links, including this. Some said, HOME + Power, some said MENU + Power. Am trying both now and see which is gonna work.Tried both, not working How long do I have to press on the buttons? Is the "Power" button the right most bottom button?

Jul 3, 2010Im trying to root my htc hero with android 2.1 and ive done all the steps and im not getting the "superuser permissions" a[[ in my app tray ive updated my build number to 2.27.651.5 which it says to do before i root. ive downloaded sync, and all the files and when i use the command prompt it goes all the way to the "unrevoked" part and the app doesnt go into my tray, im thinking its because its in safe mode and i cant get it out of safe mode, i need to get out of safe mode regardless anyway

Nov 12, 2010For those of you familiar with this problem, it's when your Moment's signal bars displays an "x" but is stuck in AIRPLANE MODE. When you hold down the END button to pull up the 3 item menu you see this (note that it says AIRPLANE MODE IS ON):
Silent Mode
(Sound is ON)
Airplane Mode
(Airplane Mode is ON)
Power Off
So I battery pulled the phone...didn't work. I then did the VOLUME UP/CALL/END button hold down trick to bring up the root menu and did the Master Reset (which took my phone back to stock + wiped out all of my apps and data so BACKUP YOUR PHONE FIRST):

Kernel Version: 2.6.29
Build Number: ECLAIR.DJ07
...didn't work
I then went into the root menu again and did the REBOOT, still nothing
I then proceeded to get mad and hit the phone a few times and BANG, the signal came back and has been back since (2 days running).
Is there something in the hardware configuration I can change to fix this lock-up issue? If I open up the phone, is there something I can do to fix this? Please someone help...obviously my solution won't last as a fix

May 1, 2010I plugged my Eris into a two way audio jack to play music through a friend's car stereo, but when I removed the jack, it went into headset mode and I have no idea how to get rid of it. I don't own a headset and as such, cannot talk to or hear anyone I call or who is calling me now. I have scoured the net for answers but the only thing I found was an outdated app that will not work on the phone. Is there anyway to get my phone off headset mode.
