Well I had no luck in the other thread, but is the Evo supposed to be auto-focusing when video recording? When It's not recording, it auto-focuses on anything I'll point it at just fine, then when I hit record, and happen to move, it stays blurry and doesn't auto-focus.

Is the Evo supposed to be auto-focusing when its recording video? If I have just the viewfinder and no recording going on, it auto-focuses whatever I point it at, but when it comes to recording, its not auto-focusing at all. It just stays blurry.

When I do the same with the fascinate it will not do anything until I tap the screen and then it will focus. Am I missing some setting or is this camera not a true autofocus device?

In my application i have a autocomplete in first activity and some edittext in second activity.when i run my code in emulator it works fine and i am not seeing any virtual keyboard on screen when program is excecuted.but when i depoly it in device when i application loads, onfocus is directly on autocomplete and a keyboard pops out,and also when i navigate from first activity to second activity onfocus is on first edittext and keyboard pops out. I want to disable this onfocus on all the page. how to do that ?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using myPlayer to download videos to watch during my commute. Even though the myPlayer app recommends arcMedia to play the downloaded videos, I've found that the default Videos app works just fine, and is a bit better thanks to the Dolby Mobile sound.
However... after downloading the video to the phone, the video takes an age to show up in the Videos app's list. I can usually prod the app into re-scanning the SD card for videos my unmounting and remounting the card, but that's a bit of a pain. Does anyone know of a way of just getting the Videos app to have another look for new files?
(I know, it's not a major hassle to remount the SD card, but I'm an ex-iPhone guy and used to the 'it just works' way of doing things...

Don't know if anyone knew this but if you download the LED Desire light from the app store, use the app first to leave the LED lights on and go to your video recorder. You can now record video in the dark and have somewhat clarity with the LED lights on. Granted it would probably be a big energy waster, but atleast you know have a choice.

To take advantage of native call recording on the EVO 4G, all you need to do is set the phone call to speaker after connected and then start the Voice Recorder app that comes with the phone. It records both sides of the conversation very clearly and you can adjust the speaker volume to about 75% for optimum audio capturing.
In the state of Texas, it is legal to record any conversation without informing the other party that you are doing so. Be sure to check with your state before recording any phone calls covertly.
Has anyone had luck with a call recording app on the Incredible? For example, AllCallRecorder, Call Record, or vRecorder. It seems that call recording capability varies with individual models. I am considering switching from the Droid to the Incredible (Motorola disabled recording entirely), but I need to know if there is an app that will work.
