My just force closes all the time starting this morning. I updated my phone the first day of the last software release with no issues. Just wanted to see if any one else has a problem as ny return time us coming up. Or if any one know how to reinstall that default app.

my wildfire is two weeks old. At first friend stream worked. I didn't use it after the first day and now I just keep getting an error message telling me to force close. How did you get around it?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI spent a month stocking my SugarSync folder full of files and entertainment for my big vacation. On day one of my trip the Donut 1.6 update came through and now SugarSync force closes constantly, haven't been able to use it since. I've been emailing the developers and they refuse to see a connection (despite several comments in the Market of other users blaming 1.6). Is there a chance it isn't 1.6 and how can I fix this? I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times with no improvement. It was an awesome app when it worked, I'll be damn sorry to have to delete it.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI got a htc hero (which I absolutely love), it's an unlocked phone (Belgium doesn't allow carriers to couple phones with subscriptions). Despite working fantastically, one thing has been bothering me which I can't seem to fix. I've got the standard calendar widget on one of the main screens, but every time it syncs or tries to update, it force closes itself (htc calendar store com process). I've noticed now that the events added to it on my phone, do not sync to google and vice versa.
View 3 Replies View RelatedThis morning, we updated our app on AM; this was our first update since release of Android 1.1.
In testing, on the emulator and with the signed .apk installed on our handsets, everything appeared to be working fine; however, we uploaded to AM, selected the new CopyProtection option, and published. Wertago disappeared for about 30 minutes, and as soon as it reappeared, we downloaded, installed, and started. Immediately upon starting, we got a force close and were never able to get the app started at all.
We've seen some discussions about similar app behavior experienced by other developers, and there was mention of likely bugs in AM or in the Copy Protection scheme. Has this been confirmed by Google, is there any communication from them about a coming fix, or anything like that?
Here's a little detail about what we gather from the logcat output. Our app appears to fail upon attempting to open/create the database; the relevant line is:
tmpDatabase = instance.openOrCreateDatabase(SEARCH_DATABASE_NAME, Context.MODE_PRIVATE, null);
which throws the sqlite3_open_v2 error.
Has this happened to anyone else? I'm running out of things to try

My first problem is that my swype is not working right anymore. It will let me type, but it will not let me swype. It says that this was configured for a previous version or something. My second problem is that my weather app force closes all the time. Is there I fix for that also?

View 16 Replies View RelatedI've looked and seen people have what seems to be the same issues, my FS was working fine last night then today it wasn't, it stopped last night at about 10:37, even after talking to VZW they had no idea and said that I was the first person to have this issue (shrugs shoulder) I don't believe that but after trying everything I can think of, and then having to do a master reset again it fixed it for a sec but then it's doing it again?

Anyway, I was just wondering about friend stream. On paper its a good little app bringing together twitter and facebook. My issue is that it doesn't refresh on its own? But the peep app and the facebook app's do? Let me know if this happens with you or if I am just missing one of those hidden settings.

Every time I try there is an error and I have had to force close. I tried uninstalling it but saw that wasn't an option.

The widget won't update, and when I open the app it fc. I've tried doing a battery pull as well as removing then re-adding Face book (twitter is obviously been removed). Still no success. Any ideas?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have unroot the phone and get problem with friend stream and facebook. I have a problem with friend stream and facebook account. Everytime I try to setup the account it tells me that "the service is currently unavailable. Do you want to try again? If I say yes get same message. I have been into facebook account setting all platform applications where turned on so I turned it off and then back on and still the same.
Tried turning the phone off then back on same thing happens. Rooted the phone again and then restored from nandroid. Still the same, so installed the rom I had before and retried still same message. Unrooted the phone again and get same problem. Also tried removing the apps from facebook application settings. When I connect I get email saying it is connected, facebook then shows htc sense back application settings, and platform apps shows htc sense in there.
Had my Desire for about a month now, and am loving it, but have run into a problem over the last week or so. My friend stream app has stopped working. The widget will never refresh, and whenever I try and go into it an error: "The application Friend Stream (process com.htc.friendstream) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" just keeps popping up, and I have no choice but to force close. I've been hearing rumours it could be another app I've installed that's causing it.

Is there any way to disable these (or better yet, remove them from Facebook all-together?) Is there some privacy setting somewhere in Facebook that I've overlooked?

I can only see her FB updates when I use the FB app. I cannot see her in my list of FB friends in Friend Stream either. It seems to not be updating properly on the people widget either. Tried to resync. I even tried deleting my FB account in Friend Stream and adding it back in. This only happened with this one friend. I use to be able to see her updates, but she seemed to have disappeared from Friend Stream a couple of days ago.

Now since you can't use sense widgets within Launcher Pro you automatically lose the clock and friend stream widget etc. Losing the clock has been a non issue thanks to Beautiful widgets but I can't find an app that mimics the friend stream look and/or functionality. Right now I've just got the twitter app and the facebook app together eating up a page but it's less than ideal. Does anyone know of an app that even comes close to replacing friendstream?
