I want to port the AOSP 4.1 lockscreen to stock motoblur 4.1 for the DROID RAZR. I want to know where is the lockscreen located.
What I know is that a part resides in the Framework-res.apk, but is it just there? Or is it splattered in other places of the framework?
Also, I want to know what parts inside of Framework-res.apk are the one that compose the lockscreen.

Droid Razr M, stock 4.1.1.
I'm running a 4.3 aosp ROM and only flashed a very minimal gapps(only playstore loginframework play services and GMSCore ) . I can't access my quick setting tiles as the icon is missing from the notification pulldown and my lock screen doesn't work no matter what security I put. If I flash the full gapps they work. What dependencies am I missing?

It is possible to port GB lockscreen to ICS? Honestly i dont like ICS locksceen and i prefer GB version. I cannot try this because i delete all rom with GB from my HDD, and i using mobile internet so i cant download files much.

I figured it could be possible with root but wasn't sure. I have tried a couple of apps from the market and they seem a little sluggish to me, and I hate the 2.2 locksreen on the phone. When I sbf'd back to 2.1 the other day the locksreen was so much better and makes me want it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI own a Droid Razr M (8 GB) and I am running a stock build(9.8.1Q-78-1), and yesterday I reset my phone to factory defaults because I filled up it's disk space, then, I re-rooted it, it worked fine, but now, today I am missing EVERY SINGLE stock app, I tried resetting it to factory defaults again, and it still was missing them all, I then used a device explorer, and my "system/app" folder is like completely empty, (DROID RAZR M Running JB 4.1.2 as stated in the title)
If it makes a difference, it is a Verizon, it was 100% stock still, I had not installed anything yet after I rooted it, and the root was 100% successful because I did it the same way I did before.
All I need is, Camera, Galary, and Calendar now.
Just want to ask if what is the filename or apk of the stock samsung lockscreen?

I am looking for a lockscreen replacement that does not act as an app. All the lockscreens that I have installed from the Play market, act as an app, and as soon as I kill background apps (long pressing the home button and clearing running apps) when I lock my phone again, and unlock it the lockscreen is gone. Why is this not happening with my stock lock screen? Why do they even have lockscreens in the App store if none of them work?

im trying to exchange some files in /system/framework of a stock jellybean 4.2.1 rom that came with my nexus 10.
I have built a workin rom from AOSP sources and made little adjustments that are present in /system/framework/services.jar and services.odex
I have built full_manta-user (not -userdebug!) so that the rom gets odexed and matches my stock rom.
The problem is i get stuck in a boot loop when i use my services.odex file on my stock rom. Is there a way to make it work or debug it?
How to port a stock rom from a higher device to a lower device with a locked bootloader so i want to try and port it with my devices stock kernel. The tutorials i have found are not detailed enough most of them are just copy & pasting files from one to the other and the rom does not boot.

Both my wife and I have android tablets running ICS but different brands..Neither tablet can get to the internet with the Razr M hotspot. They connect to the phone and the phone reports them as connected. But I can't browse the internet. These are not mainstream tablets but they're good ones. They worked with my Droid X and the short time I had a Windows phone 8 they worked fine as well. I've not had any trouble until now. How can 2 droids not talk? I can solve the issue by using windows hosted network and connectifyme. Both tablets will connect to connectify me and get on the net through the phone that way. I'd just like to solve this issue rather than do a work around. Carrying a laptop just to route ICS is not very practical. I've tried everything including third party apps to no avail. Foxfi sucks so bad I had to do a factory reset to get rid of the lock screen password it creates now AND pdanet is now bundled with Foxfi so I can't even try USB tethering. I did try some USB tethering apps I found on Google Play but none of them worked. Both tablets are rooted. So is there a way to replace the network software? Is there a way to upgrade to Jelly Bean?

So I hooked it up and installed the software and stuff. Do I have to use that and WMP to transfer music to my phone? For some reason WMP won't detect my phone, even though the software comes up when I plug it in. WMP only gives me the option to copy to CD, it doesn't recognize the phone as a device.
I have a Droid Razr HD and I can't transfer images from my gallery to my Mac. They aren't in internal storage, they do not show up in mac file transfer download, Image Capture does not detect my phone as even existing, I've already download the Motorola Device Storage...this is impossible!! How do I connect my phone to my computer and just drag and drop all my photos as an album?
