View 1 RepliesPlease is it possible for me to browse the internet on my pc using my sonyericsson xperia x10 mini pro. Dont know how cause the phone doesnt support Pc suite, only Pc companion, and hence I dont know how else to do it.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI received my new x10 mini phone a few days ago and am really impressed by it.
But...
After the phone has been off, the camera works fine the first time I start it.
And if I close the camera application and start it again straight away it also works fine.
But if I wait for maybe half an hour or more and then open the camera application, the phone reboots itself.
This is very repeatable and it looks like there's something wrong in the software or so.
xperia mini can't send messages to multiple recipients what gives?
View 2 Replies View RelatedHave owned an xperia mini pro for about 2 weeks now. It has a problem that every few days or so the screen locks up and becomes unresponsive and the only way to reset it is to do a battery pull. My question basically is should I take it back to the shop, or is it likely to need to have android reinstalled or something?
It did this on the very first startup after unboxing, it froze up when choosing the language setting, so obviously it is unrelated to any other apps i have installed. At the time I didnt think it was too much of a problem but then as I say, it started doing it every few days.
Yahoo mail account work on x10 mini pro? I cant get it to work, it says theres username pswd prob but it is 100% correct?...

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have just purchased an X10 mini pro, however there is no applications bar in the bottom of the screen. The following instructions therefore do not make sense:You can personalise the home screen by adding application shortcuts: 1) from the home screen, tap the applications bar2) press menu bar and tap add3) in the Add to home screen menu, select the item you want to add How do I add app shortcuts to the desktop? Where is the applications bar? I also cant find mediascape, where is this?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have tried the app funninly enough called Photo Zoom but the quality is terrible and does not support the remaining features of the in current software such as taking photos in low light etc. Also can anyone tell me if the update will perhaps increase the ammount of bluetooth headsets that r compatible with the mini pro. I have 2 very good headsets at the moment from previous phones but unfortuneately my mini pro cannot find them.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a mini pro...i had issues earlier as i didnt have an active data connection on my mini pro..but nw as i have it...not one inbuilt app is working! Facebook, gmail, gtalk, android market, youtube etc. dont work at all..Each of them gives an error that you dont have an active connection! All of the above does open via the normal browser on mini pro..but not through these builtin apps!
View 8 Replies View RelatedI experienced no problems with the installed firmware (versjon 14) with my X10, but I read on a forum that some people had gotten their device a bit faster and smoother after installing the update that is available (version 16). I installed the update and now I regret and wish I never would have done it.
Now I have the problem with the "a" butten. When I hit the "a" button, I just get that the button was pushed and nothing happens in the textfield, so I have to push the "a" button twice to get something.
I couldn't find my wireless internett that was turned on, and in some of the programs when I write, nothing shows up in the textfield, but I can see that the text registered by the device because I can see the wordexamples coming up as I write. I wonder if there is a way to downgrade to the preinstalled firmware?
Some people keep asking how to downgrade back to 1.6. So I wanted to provide how to do it
Note: This will give you UK Generic R1FA016 firmware
1) Install SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service).
You can get it from here: http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/down...-2.10.6.21.exe
2) Run SEUS, follow the prompts. You don't need to update the phone through it, but get the phone ready for updating. This process should install the drivers necessary for the rooting process.
Note: I suggest you keep your USB cable attached to that USB port. Remember which USB port of your computer it's attached to, as changing USB ports can lead to a bit of confusion for the next 2 steps!
3) To check if #2 was successful, click on Start, click Run, and type: regedit
In the Registry Editor that pops up, click on Computer, press CTRL+F, and search for this: USBVid_0fce&Pid_adde
After it's finished finding, on the right side you'll see DeviceInstance, then it says REG_SZ, then it says something like USBVid_0fce&Pid_adde5&270d2a78&0&3 You'll need that last bit (in this example: 5&270d2a78&0&3 Yours would probably be different). This is your DeviceID (you'll need it soon!)
Note: You may have multiple of these if you plugged the USB cord into many USB ports on your computer. Each USB port will give a different DeviceID, so if you have more than one DeviceID, you'll have to choose one, and if it doesn't work (you'll find out when you reach #5!) you will have to choose another one.
Alternatively, download the file in the next step and extract it, go to the folder called 1st, and run the DeviceID.jar file. It should give your DeviceID
4) Download this:
Download R1FA16 rar
or from here: [url]
Extract it.
In the step1 folder, you'll see a file called DeviceID.txt Open it up, delete whatever's there, and put YOUR DeviceID (that you found from the previous step). Save the file and close notepad.
Note: Make sure there are no extra spaces or lines after/before the DeviceID. The ONLY thing that should be in the file is your DeviceID, NO SPACES/LINES (for example, only this: 5&270d2a78&0&3 [yours will probably be different])
5) Take out the USB cable from your phone (leave it plugged into your computer) Turn your phone OFF. Open up step1.cmd (it's not inside the step1 folder, but outside it), but DON'T PRESS ANYTHING
Now we have to put the phone into flash mode. This is how you do it:
Hold the Back button on your phone, and while holding the back button, insert the USB cable into the phone. A green light should come on the phone (like when it's charging or a missed call) Quickly "Press any key to continue..." in the open step1.cmd window.
Let it finish what it's doing. It will say "Press any key to continue..." after it's finished. Until then, DON'T touch anything!
If you get problems in this step, refer to this post:[url]
Here's a helpful video for common java issue: [ROOT/De-Brick Guide] Java Issue 64 bit Fix Walkthrough (Video guide included) - xda-developers
After completion, this will give you a Generic X10i R1FA016 firmware (check it by pressing the left button, go to settings>about phone and at the very bottom under build number)
Keep your phone plugged into the USB.
6) Run SEUS to get to the latest firmware (do this before 2.1 is released in the UK if you don't want 2.1)
I'm just wondering how to save contacts to your SIM card using Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro. I've looked all over the menus and can't seem to find a way to save the contacts to my SIM card...

sometimes when i make the screen timeout for 30minutes, it will also turn off by itself and restart back by itself. sometimes it goes off and no reboot back. i have search on XDA and found that few problems like mine.
i try few solution like take out the battery, uninstall apps which maybe make my phone turn off.
i also reflash my phone to 2.3.3 and also reflash back to 2.3.4. it just goes the same. my warranty have void as i have unlock my bootloader.

i really miss my phone like the old days to tweeting and facebooking without any turn off and reboot by its own.
My android is rooted and sim-unlocked by Omnius.
I manually installed ClockworkMod Recovery. (to do this I had to remount the /system folder as rw, don't know if this is important, but wasn't in the installation instructions).
PC companion says my firmware is the lastest
I want flash this kernel. I think I can't unlock my bootloader...
I followed this guide to unlock the bootloader, using FlashTool or msm7227_omniusSL.cmd. Both processes complete without errors... But when I check with s1tool, the erom version has an uppercase "R".
When I try to flash, FlashTool throws the error:
Code:
06/056/2012 20:56:22 - ERROR - ERR_SEVERITY="MAJOR";ERR_CLASS="SECURITY_CLASS";ERR_DYNAMIC="SIN header verification failed"
Here are my s1tool and FlashTool logs:
s1tool:
Code:
Welcome to S1 identify tool
[Code] .......
Both BL unlocking methods were repeted several times, with equal logs...
Id like to transfer the trackid app history from my xperia mini pro to my moto g.
Ive tried it with titanium backup, but the app crashes on load using the moto g.
I've googled this to death and cant find much.
The app on my xperia was built in to the phone and seems to be developed by gracenote.
There is a Sony version on play store which is virtually the same but updated and slicker looking.
Ideally I'd like to use the new app, using the history from the old app, but have read the databases are incompatible.
I've looked for the file that holds the history but cant find anything.
As a last resort, I'll start again with the new app, but would like to extract the history from the old trackid on my xperia and save as a text file. I dont really want to have to type /write down the list manually!
I want to my upgrade my rooted sony Xperia mini pro sk17i 4.0.4 to higher version may be 4.2 or 4.2.2 , can upgrade it ?

Is this kind of 'laptop' jobs possible in it?I know a E63 or E72 or BB is most suitable. But I love it's above addl. qualities.

There is no android market icon on home screen so i searched "android market" on internet and using internet browse version.

I can do nothing without applications...
I rooted my device (Galaxy Nexus GSM / Maguro) weeks ago and switched from the stock OS to Cyanogenmod 10.
Some days ago I received the (so called "stable") update to 10.1 and installed it (gapps 121212 too).
Unfortunately, the stable 10.1 turned out to be rather unstable: Apps (Google Play Music, Skype, Youtube, SMS, ...) either crashed on device startup or as soon as the app was started.
SMS frequently froze the whole phone. The former rather fast and stable device became an unstable and failure-prone device
Installing diverse nightly builds didn't improve the situation, so I decidet to roll back to 10.0.
Again, a bad decision! After installing it, CM won't boot any more. I can see the boot-image (the circle of death, as I call it by now) and that's it!
I tried to reboot in recovery mode, but I cannot switch options with the volume keys. The only option I have is to boot into the broken system...
Below the android icon it reads: Downloading.. Do not turn off target!
Nexus Root Toolkit does'nt recognize it (neither as fastboot nor as adb device).
My computer system ist Windows XP SP 3.
BTW: I don't know if this Information is relevant: The Android-Icon in recovery mode is not a lying one with its belly open but the standard 2D-Android-icon. And, perhaps more grave: Due to security concerns, ADB was disabled in my (then working) Cyanogenmod-OS...
I have an HTC Sensation XE that has been working fine until I upgraded it to 4.0.3 Since then it mounts the miniSD card as Read Only and many of my programs do not work and I get the response to that no SDcard is inserted.I have also los connection to my Microsoft Exchange, thus not being able to receive any emails on my phone. how I could downgrade to a version previous than 4.0.3
