Now I've looked in a lot of places and none of them can specifically say if these are compatible with the x-10. The only thing I found was that the Jaybird is compatible with the iphone... which isn't useful. So does anyone have any experience with these or just know if it works? Ideally, Jaybird can load/play from mediascape (or even the Pandora app but that might be asking for too much), and if a call comes in, the watch vibrates, I look at it to see the caller ID, and I press a button on the wireless headphones to take the call.

On the xperia play you can use the keys for EVERY game!
Is it possible to play palm pilot games on an android? I would assume it wouldn't be too difficult since they both use touch. I wouldn't care if it didn't fit my whole screen. I'm looking for something like it (Scrabble), but also anything else that's fun and you can play with your friends (poker, shooting, conquering, puzzles, etc). I have spend months figuring this out combining roms and scripts but same result with playing games.
So I had to RSLITE back to stock 4.1.2 i believe and now im able to play any games i want on stock rom.

I've tried a bunch of apps that hide root, or temporarily unroot, and this game somehow can still see it. All I can find online is Glu Mobile is doing this cuz they think a rooted device is capable of hacking their game.....even though it's server sided. Any way to bypass this, or hide my root from this game?

I recently bought Xperia S - that has separate HDMI and USB ports, so i was thinking if i could use the device to play pc games and stream video and sound via my phone to tv.
The phone can stream 1280x720 resolution to tv, so i was thinking i could create some kind of onlive-like experience, by plugging phone to tv and connecting keyboard/mouse to it via usb hub/bluetooth - and WIFI streaming output from pc to my phone then to tv.
Is there any app i could use to archieve my goal?

Browsing around the net at work today for Bluetooth Game Controllers, I came across a Mini Bluetooth Keyboard HERE - it's also selling on Ebay. It claims to be compatible with Android, but as we're all learning Android on one phone isn't the same as Android on another.
I'm wondering two things really: 1) Anyone know if it is actually compatible with Android and moreso if it's compatible with HTC Incredible
and 2) If it is compatible, once connected, can you use it in conjunction with Game Emulators (I have the popular one for GBA) so that I could use the buttons on there to play the games.
It's the perfect size for a game controller (too bad they don't also make one for that purpose) and would be much better than the touch screen controls which impede on the game.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a tab 2 10.1 with the latest software from Rogers in Canada.My problem is, my daughter is 16 months and loves to play games on it but "ALWAYS" hits the back button or home button or the advertisments etc.Then it kicks her out of the games, it is very fruastrating as I am a Android fan, but I see IPADs that when in kid mode, the kid "CANNOT" get out of the games.
Is there a APP, or mode I am missing, I have tried 2 different APPs and both SUCK and allow her to still get to Home screen or hit advertisments or freeze the games.
I purchased these mainly for my kids and wife and am starting to hate them for very poor usability features that IPADs do not have problems with? And I have used IPAD's and really really hate APPLE's software.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a joystick with 6 axes an 2 buttons. If I connect that joystick to my device (nexus 7) through an otg cable it gets recognized as HID device.
The two buttons are both mapped by android to ENTER and the X + Y axes to direction keys. So it is already possible to control some UI sections (ie app icon selection on launcher).
I added a key layout map in "/system/usr/keylayout/Vendor_046d_Product_c626.kl" to customize the two buttons. I was also able to remap and invert all 6 axes.

As you can see I mapped the two buttons to the volume controls, which works fine. Unfortunately I'm not able to figure out how to map axes to keystrokes. As the X + Y axes are mapped to direction keys, there must be a setting somewhere for this. I would like to use all 6 axes and map them to simple keystrokes.
I wanted to change my high score of any given game in the Google Play Games app. I know how to change the xml file of the app to display a high score in the app but it doesn't upload that score to the Google Play Games server. I've seen people with outrageous high score (in the billions) and I want to know how they do it?
