I deleted something in TB and I'm not sure what but it's needed for Google Play. It says the app stopped unexpectedly. I installed the latest Google Play apk and that didn't fix it either.

I am having a problem with my wife's EVO - Basically an error message pops up when she tries to sync her google email, calendar, or contacts that says "com.google.process.gapps has stopped unexpectedly" and gives button to force close. Also, her "my contact card" will not open or let her edit it. A solution posted here ( How do I fix the "The process com.google.process.gapps has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" problem? - Android Market Help ) does not work for us. She has installed all task killers and done a soft reset. We love the phone but this killing the buzz.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just installed the ContactSync app on my Hero, and all my contacts are easily been transformed into google contacts. But when I try to sync contacts with Google, it thinks a bit and then comes with an error message:
"The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
When I go into my gmail contacts, there are only 57 contacts out of the 173 I have the phone, plus some of them in my gmail has duplicates.
Had done a backup of my contacts using Secure Wave. Made as a CSV file via Secure Wave, which I could then import in my gmail. Fine, so now I had about 240 contacts in my gmail (Around 80 more than I had on my phone?)
That caused a bit of a problem since they apparently don't work in the same way.
So now I hava about 50 numbers that are now called "Mobile" when they on the phone was called "name Mobile" and a lot of unknown numbers labeled on the cell phone as they only had one name on the phone.
But i guess all this can be solved with a lot of editing on the computer. But then when I go into "view" menu under contacts it says I have 352 google contacts (should be about 173) and none phone contacts (Which is fine since they all got converted into google contacts) :S, plus when I'm inside contacts and look, I get the following error message every time my phone tries to sync with google:
"The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. And then I can just press "Force close" after which I will return to my Home screen.
Someone who knows what went wrong and how I solve it?

Ii have created a marker demowhich the marker on the map for which I have used pushpin.gif image. I have added the pushpin.gif in the drawable folders which is inside the resource folder. When I run it on the emulator the force close errror appears. I have also made sure that I add <uses-library android:name="com.google.android.maps"/> as a child of application which was given as an earlier solution by a friend on the discussion group. Still the error persists. I guess the code is fine.

But now i found that there are apps missing that i was able to download on my "inferior" NOVO 7 Elf II, such as "Dodonpachi Resurrection" and "Espgaluda 2". The Nexus 7 is very capable of running those 2 games.
How can i make it so those missing apps appear on Google Play on my Nexus 7?
I have the pirate bay app on my AT&T htc one running stock jellybean. I cam across an app called Google play modded. Which I thought meant I can go in and customize the Google play store and delete the bloatware that come with the phone, but I found out that It was something totally different. So I went to uninstall it from the app drawer and It deleted the whole Google play store. I downloaded and apk file from some website which fixed it. but after rebooting I got this error. I then went to titanium backup and wiped the data. It fixed the crashes but now I for some reason am running the modded Google play app again. I deleted Google play services and google play app. rebooted my phone. It removed the modded Google play store and fixed everything, but whenever I try downloading an app It breaks everything.
I'm running Jelly bean 4.2.2 on stock android. HTC one.
For some reason Play store and Youtube app cant access the net. Says problems with network, but there are none.I have 2 more android devices and 2 pcs running off the same network and all work just fine.
Also, may be related, browser started dropping error popup saying something about certificates. Can continue but most pages drop this multiple time
In any Google play game I cannot view the achievements any more, the window flashes open, white, then closes. In the Google play app it will show the amount of achievements next to each game, ie 2/14, but clicking on my achievements shows a blank page. Leader boards still work though..Tried clearing cache, re-installing, etc. Last resort is to restore my tablet.

I recently upgraded my phone xperia mini pro SK17i 's software from GB to ICS 4.0.4 and rooted my phone. After rooting i installed Titanium backup and remove a few what i thought were unnecessary apps from my phone . I think i also deleted the google.download.manager.apk i'm not sure but i cannot see this service in my "ALL APPS" (APP Manager) Its not at the bottom or disabled its just not there.
Since then i keep getting gapps stopped working and Google play stopped working .
i have tried
1. Rebooting (multiple times)
2. Clearing cache/clearing data for Play
3. un-installing /Re Install play
4. Download goomanager and downloading latest gapps packed and flashed the zip
5. Delete gmail account and restart and add account again.
Also i don't think there is prob in Google sync...
and checked out all the sites and forums for solution ... i still haven't gotten any solution to this.
i saw in a few places about QtADB and new ROM..but i have abs no clue about what it is or how to go about it

I have downloaded a new download manager for now. But was wondering if i can get back Google download manager without have to to do a factory reset.
I have Samsung Galaxy mini and flashed it with stock Froyo 2.2 ROM but when I installed the ROM and I didn't find the Android MarketGoogle Play App, But I searched for this problem at google and the only solution for this problem is downloading the market apk file, And I downloaded and installed it but another problem appeared, When I open the market it gave me a force close Error
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a epic 4g rooted, stock rom, seems that when i go to the market, it does not show the apps that i have installed and/or the ones that i purchased. additionally, if i were to delete one of these missing apps, they still dont show up in the market/google play. I have attempted to use various market enablers, but this has not solved my issue. on another note, and perhaps related, when i use titanium backup only one app shows setcpu, while previously it was working.

When I searched for this message it seemed to be related to people using Gmail, but I always get this message when I'm doing other things and not even touching my Gmail account.

Tried with both 4g and wifi. I am using a Galaxy s3 on Verizon, jelly bean 4.3. The only thing I noticed is that Clash of Clans updated this morning but I was able to get on and download the update and then get back on play store but like not long after that it won't open.

I'm even not able to update my device. when updates are downloaded it ask to reboot the device. But after rebooting the failure message appears and it ask to do the update through Computer using Kies. Here also it says you device is not supported.
I can't tie this to any particluar app and it doesnt seem to be impacting anything.everything is running fine. Its annoying and I'd like to get it fixed.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been using iSyncr for a few months now and overall it's pretty good. I was using it with Rocket Player, but didn't care for that player much, so I am just using the google music app for now.
The problem: All playlists sync, except for the most recent. So if I have playlists 1-5, with 5 being what I just created in iTunes and sync'd, play music will only show 1-4. Whenever I move on and create #6, then #5 will show up but 6 will be missing.. and so on.
I need to either figure out why, or find an alternative music player that doesn't have this problem and works with the iSyncr process/playlists. Rocket Player did not, but had some other things that I didn't like.
So I recently rooted my phone and after recovering my rom that I had backed up, i got this error "the application settings (process com.android.settings) has stopped unexpectedly.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo my tether had been working perfectly up until yesterday. I have the full version plus the addon. Normally when I activate the hotspot it takes about 3 seconds then I get two drop down notifications in my top notification bar. The first says hotspot is active (blue wifi icon) and to click to view traffics, and if i click on it, i am directed to the main foxfi page. The second would say hotspot is active, and click to configure settings (this one had a white wifi icon). When I clicked on this one it would let me alter some settings. However, now this one is no longer showing up, and my tether is also not working. When I activate the hotspot, it takes twice as long, and then finally the blue icon pops up, but not the white one. The network is not identifiable even though foxfi says it is running.
