Just got my Sensation XE about one month ago, and flashed yesterday from ARHD 6.6.4 to Elegancia (The newest Version with Sense 4), and now i want my ARHD back. But every other Rom i flash wont boot! I can flash Elegancia again and it works. How can I flash back to ARHD?

Since a few weeks my phone turnes itself off accidentally, during any operation or just lying lazy on the desk. I had ARHD 6.5 since 6 months or so and I replaced it with 6.7 like 3 days ago, hoping this will solve the problem but it didn't. So I wanna try the stock rom and see whether it works or not, and if it won't I'll send it to rma. My question is how to recover original soft from nandroid backup, cause I tried and got stuck with bootloop. Do I have to recover the old firmware as well? I found some thread on how to remove clockwork and root, put the phone back S-ON and so on but I would have to recover stock rom first, right? I know I can also flash the stock rom, but the only one I found is not matching perfectly my original one, so I would rather get it back from backup. This phone is just so freaking annoying...

So far I've done on Sensation is bootloader is unlocked and added clock world recovery on my mobile and I REALLY need to add Sebastain's kernel on my mobile as I need to enable USB otg for many many many reasons

Can I unroot htc sensation.And think the phone is rooted I did a root check and it says rooted .What I need to know is can this be unrooted back to factory settings ? I read on tinternet the if you update to ics when phone is rooted it fkus up the phone.

I had cm 10.1, 4.1.2 and is worked ok, but from yestardy i instaled cm 10.1, 4.2.2 and have problem with my htc senstion, its turning off alone when is in my pocket, or on table for 1,2 minutes, also the battery from 100 percent to 20 for 2-3 hours on standby. i thought its because of rom, but i m last night instaled dark sense 1.6.3, and problem is the same, its alone turning off.

View 4 Replies View Relatedyesterday i was walking to my gym, and a few minutes in it started downpouring. after i got back my phone's background light was flickering like a flourescent light in an old abandoned building. i tried restarting it a few times and eventually like 10 minutes after my last restart finished the light's complexion faded and made everything on my phone look pail. i dont know if this was because of the restart or not. anyway, i turned my phone off last night right before i went to bed, and when i woke up it won't turn on, and if i plug it into the charger, the orange LED light doesn't come up. it blinks occasionally when plugged in, but very slowly, alot slower than it's normal blinking.

My Recovery CWM is still accessible.But I got a problem with my sd card which cannot mount and it show error sd card in the recovery. It doesn't pop up in "My Computer" as well.

Now I wanted to install the latest Android Revolution HD 6.7.0, I did everything as the list suggested I update the firmware( PYRAMID PVT SHIP S-OFF RL
HBOOT-1.27.1100). But when I install the rom everything goes as normal except that when I reboot in never boots into the rom, I have leave it over 20 mins, and nothing happens, I have tried several times, and I tried to restore back to version 3, everything seems "Restored" except it won't pass from htc logo again (I think it's because I have an updated firmware)
So, how do I manage to install the lasted arhd , or how do I do to downgrade the firmware in order to have it working again, I would prefer to have ICS, but I can't manage to do it, my phone is unusable now.
I bought a new screen for my HTC Sensation and now I can't drag. I can still tap stuff, but it's not as responsive. I downloaded several touchscreen testing apps and it seems like when I press the screen for more than 1 second, the digitizer can no longer detect my touch. So if I try to drag something, it works for 1 second, then the screen can't detect my finger anymore.
Is this a problem with the new digitizer or is this a software issue? I'm using ViperS 1.4.1.
I got my new HTC Sensation with Android some days ago and I would like to change several things on it, but before doing it and to be safe safe I would like to do a backup of the phone as I got it, as I did with my old (and broken ) HTC P3600 with WM.
I have been searching forums (including this one) and I find tools and tutorials for doing it in Windows Mobile or for Applications, but I didn't find it (or I was not able to find it) for the full smartphone, including the ROM Android-based.
I've been following the instructions on the HTCdev website for unlocking the bootloader on my HTC sensation XE. Ive made it to the last step and acquired the unlock code from HTC. I then copied that to my computer and followed the last step "fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin" but I get an error message in the CMD promt "remote: unlock token check failed"
I have made sure that the .bin file is in the correct directory (c:Android).I have USB debugging enabled and fastboot disabled.
But,lib files that i have to copy from Xperia rom to my base (sensation rom) it doesn't exist..

When we tried letting the initial boot run its course, the device got caught in a boot loop. And today I only made matters worse, I had my brother wipe the whole thing to where the phone won't even mount as a USB device, it just tries to install drivers and fails when you connect it. However, while in recovery, fast boot commands work. Anyways, I'm trying to figure out how to restore the phone to stock and I just can't get it to work.

I would like to port a ROM, but the resolution of the device is too large for my HDPI (480x800) phone (HTC Glacier). The resolution of the ROM I want to port is qHD (540x960) and is the HTC Sensation. I want to port is OrDroid. Is it just /system/framework, or both /system/framework and /system/app? I've had it for a while now, over a year and I only recently revisited the subject of my OS when I realized I hadn't been asked to update anything like my previous phone (Nexus from Vodafone). I looked into it a little and it appears I have Android 4.0.3 but "Android Revolution HD 6.6.0 XE" by mike1986?
I would like to know what the best thing to do here is, as I would like to update to the newest available Android out for my phone, and I think I would prefer the "normal" Android to the mike1986 development version (but whatever works I suppose).
Also, my battery seems to be dying a lot faster these days. Will getting a new one fix the problem entirely, and will updating the OS aid in this at all?
I am trying to find the best ICS rom for the HTC sensation when it comes to the battery life. I understand the roms on here are works in progress, I would just like to find a good rom that isn't too hard on the battery life.

No sign of life... Now I saw the tutorial how to unbrick a HTC. I downloaded Ubuntu, but if I use the brickdetect of the Sensation it just says: "Device can't be detected". Now my questions: Where can I get the Unbrick-package for the Sensation XL? Can I unbrick my Sensation XL with Ubuntu?
