Always have circle instead of sim1 or sim2 coverage and triangle indicating Network Registration Error and I try the following
1-restart or enable Flight mode then disable
2-replacing the two Sims cards with another from another network
3-trying to register manually and failed to register
4-replacing the software with another
I did all these steps separately or together.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Samsung Galaxy S Duos GT-S7562 is having many problems. First of all it is taking a lot more time to charge the battery and it gets very Hot while charging.
Wifi is also Disabled. I am not able to turn the Wifi on. And Phone is getting switched off Automatically. It won't even turn on until and unless I remove battery and insert it back. Tried to do Factory reset but no dice.
I have Samsung galaxy s duos gt-7562 and using only the 1 simcard but i need to compile somehow the systemUI.apk to remove the icons from sim cards..i have finaly found a way to replace the icon with a png file but the result was this in the image and a huge space between wifi signal and gsm signal the think is that i want to be near and wifi icon replace the stock sim1 icon.

I phoned Samsung and T-Mobile and resolved the issue by a 'Network Refresh' and manually registering the phone to T-Mobile. I registered manually and had the phone working hours before I got the text from my NSP telling me that I had recieved a network refresh. About which time I noticed that my 3G was not connecting, and has yet to establish a connection today.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI bought a s duos which i hav rooted recently i started searching for sum roms 4 it but i couldn't find any soo i thought of using cyanogen mod 9 (unofficial) i put it in my sd card went 2 cwm and flashed it but my phone was in boot loop so i formated my phone cleared cache, dalvik cache etc, fixed permissions tried restoring bacxkups but still no use !X.it runs on android 4.0.4 . Any easy way 2 get out of the boot loop. i hav never installed and roms on this phone at all.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI tried rooting my Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos SCH-I589 phone running GINGERBREAD.FA13 (v 2.3.6) using various methods but to no avail.
UnlockRoot gives the error "FAIL TO GET SHELL ROOT" and their website claims there is nothing they can do about it. I tried downloading other update files and placing them in the root of my sdcard but on starting the phone in recovery mode there is no option of installing from sdcard. On confirming that a new OS is to be loaded, it straight away goes to USB downloading screen (even when no usb is connected).
Any ways and means to successfully root the phone.
And before you recommend I watch the xda Noob video, let me just mention that there is no dedicated section for this particular model, nothing apart from Unlockroot and recovery mode pops up in any of the searches on any of the search engines, there are no other posts relating to rooting of this phone in this forum or any other forum on xda. (And yes I know this phone sucks but I desperately needed GSM+CDMA dual sim and this was the only option to me).
