I downloaded Ditto Note 3 for my note 2, and i flashed it. It didn't work so whatever. After reading on the thread a little longer, it said i needed to flash a kernel. So after flashing ditto note 3 and the kernel i rebooted my phone to see that it was stuck on the Note 2 logo. I thought it was all fine until i booted into recovery mode to find that cwm would make my phone restart. I have backups of cm11 and stock touchwiz, can i flash them with odin? Can I go into my storage and take them out?

I installed Aloysius 2.0.8 rom last night and now all my phone will do is show red, blue , green and yellow colors the boot animation going back and fourth all night it will not let me do anything it seem like it is suck. Is there anything I can do to puy my old system back on the phone? I tried the hold the power button and volume down key but it just does the same thing over and over and I can't do anything with the phone. Is my phone just a brick now or is there a way to make this thing work.

since yesterday the smartphone is unable to boot. When it starts, it just keeps displaying the Phicomm logo, not even getting to the boot animation. The recovery menu is inaccessable, so how I can reflash the stock ROM?
Manufacturer: Shanghai Feixun Communication Co. Ltd.
Brand: Phicomm
Model: FWS 710 Pro
OS: Android 4.0.4
CPU: Qualcomm MSM7227A 1GHz
Memory RAM: 512MB + ROM: 512MB
MicroSD car slot up to 32GB
There are a few more on the english Phicomm website located here under the "Specifications" tab.
I found the [AIO]Universal Android Flasher, connected the phone via USB cable, started the program and clicked some buttons, which resulted in the message:
Code:
ERROR: Device not found
A quick search suggested to download the adb USB driver, which also couldn't find the device. I can't find any valuable information on recovering this smartphone without a recovery menu.

i have a brand-new x10 mini that appears to be stuck in a loop. it boots up fine until i get the "data traffic enabled" message in the notification bar and then the phone freezes. sometimes the time continues to update normally but the phone is completely unresponsive, sometimes the phone restarts itself. if i press the power button and the centre button, the phone reboots but gets stuck in the same cycle. i have installed the companion software and the phone is detected but cannot connect i have also tried another 02 sim (the phone is locked to o2) without success.

I bought this phone whilst on a business trip In Shenzhen china.
It's was running 4.2.9 jb. 2gb ram 16gb rom 5" screen 1080p
I put 3d chain fire on it and now it's stuck in the boot animation.
I borrowed my friend phone, same as mine and loaded up mtk droid and it generated a backup of his phone with loads of files system folder, boot.img etc
It then packed it up into a zip file. From there I thought I could put the zip file on an sd card and boot into recovery and delete the data / cache and them select install from sd card. But the installation failed

I rooted my samsung for the first time Friday (worked out great). I just installed Rom Toolbox Pro & was looking through the features (I should of backed up first thing!) & decided to install a custom boot animation (big mistake!). The boot animation worked fine but even though the phone boots up & actually works, the screen is stuck in the boot animation state & will not bring up the home screen.
I've tried everything (actually learned quite a bit) using CWM to install boot animation disable zips, clear all kinds of caches, & even clear data & factory reset (lost everything). Even used odin3 to install Jelly Bean (originally ice cream sandwich 4.0.4.) & still this f$%^ing boot animation will not clear off the screen.
The phone still works to where I can answer & if I flip it on the side I can use the voice app with the home key to see half the screen (scrolling is a pain) but if I click to the home screen the dam boot animation takes over the whole screen again.
The firmware updates & zip files don't work. Is there a full android system out there to restore it or some way easy to get my home screen back. I really don't want to turn it to a brick if possible.

Device: Micromax Canvas 2 Plus A110Q.
I recently used a pendrive through otg to transfer a few movies to my device.
After that i noticed a few issues, whenever i connect the pendrive my ringtones and notifications turn to default inspite the tones placed in phone memory.
The dialer changed to this crappy one automatically (as attached in the screenshot).
The phone restarted 3-4 times in the last couple of days when trying to open the dialer.
Do i need a factory reset?

I'm having a weird issue where after I successfully rooted my Samsung Galaxy S3 (following a guide from androidcentral) every time my phone encounters an application force close, the phone will freeze up and eventually restart. Before rooting my phone, whenever an application would force close all I would get was a notification telling me <application name> had closed unexpectedly, as it should in Android. Now I'm not seeing that, phone just goes to black and then restarts. This wouldn't be a huge deal, but since I'm using it as a development platform, having your phone restart every time your application crashes takes a lot of time.
What's really weird is that Logcat will continue to scroll (in Eclipse) even after the phone is frozen to input (so its not a system wide lock up).

My Desire V started reseting itself for no apparent reason that I can think of. Uninstalled the few apps I installed for the last few weeks. The crash logs show this in the bottom (and other I/O Errors all over the log file as well):
mmc0: Command timeout
mmc0: DMA channel flushed
end_request: I/O Error, dev mmcblk0, sector 814992
init: cannot execve('/system/bin/dbus-daemon'): I/O Error
Restarting Linux version bla bla bla
msm_pm_restart : Do HW_RESET By APP not by RADIO
No Errors detected
(mmcblk0 is the internal memory card)
Is my flash card broken? HTC Desire V

When I first bought it, I was not happy with the features it was offering so I searched and found out about the CM7(Cyanogenmod 7) mod, and decided that I wanted to try out a modded phone. I've been using CM7 for a few years now and have just plain become unhappy with what they're putting out and decided that I finally wanted my phone back to being normal and rooted. I booted into my clockworkmod(after backing up all apps/data with TitaniumBackup pro & taking pics/vids/etc off through USB) and decided to wipe my sdcard and all other options that Clockworkmod offers. After doing that I realized I made a horrible mistake...every time I go to reboot my phone, it ends up back at the boot menu and at the top it says "Fastboot Mode - No boot or recovery IMG" how would I go about resetting my phone back to a normal OS without being able to transfer stuff onto it without it being booted and having a USB option.

Every time I reboot my phone it keeps changing my background back to the same stupid image below. I think I'm probably going to go insane if I see this stupid grass anymore. The picture isn't even on my phone (anywhere I can see, obviously.) I don't know what to do. I've flashed several Roms, done several factory resets, changed it to a million different images/live wallpapers.

I was attempting to flash a ROM for the first time. my droid is rooted, I thought I was doing everything right, obviously not. I was using clockwork to flash it. I have titanium backup, and I had it clockwork backed up. It said the flash worked, I tried booting, and got stuck on the "droid" animation, it loops over and over. I booted into recovery mode, cleared data and cache. Now I can occasionally get it through the normal boot animation, all the way past the droid eye, but then it goes back to the "droid animation", only its very glitch, and loops erratically. What should I attempt to do?

For the past 2 hours I have been searching this site and reading about Rooting and Flashing new ROM's etc. and I'm still having trouble. I downloaded Cyanogen 6.0.0 and when the phone re booted it got stuck at the Cyanogen boot animation screen, and when I pulled the Battery and rebooted in to recovery I was able to restore everything and now the phone works again.
So first off, how long should it take after downloading a new ROM to boot back up with the new ROM installed? And how can I save the ROM in to the SD card? And when I go to DL Cyanogen it asks which home application I should use and gives me ADWlauncher and Launcher 2 as options.

however I am not new to Android or cell phones. I am a former Sprint rep and technician and was my store's advocate for the Hero so I have quite a bit of knowledge as it stands. However the past 2 or 3 days my Evo has randomly restarted without any notice or any reason. I was sitting in my room watching TV last night when my phone restarted 3 separate times within a 35 minute span. Nothing was running, it wasn't charging, I haven't rooted yet, 4g bluetooth and wifi were all off.

Lately for the past few days my Evo has been starting on it own. In my pocket, while I'm driving on the car charger, on a table, anywhere. I would just be sitting there then I hear the restart sound from their sprint and 4g title theme.

I've never had a smart phone like this, so hopefully this isn't too dumb of a question. But is it necessary to shut down the phone and restart it once in a while. Once a week, once every couple days, never? I feel like this thing is a mini netbook so just getting an opinion on how to properly take care of if.

So I'm running fresh evo .5.3 (Or whatever that build was, old, I know), and near the middle of the day I realized my phone was playing my notification sound (and led would blink once) and then my phone would suddenly reboot. The only changes I had made were installing a couple random apps, which I've uninstalled since then. Also, installed handcent and I get the same result. Other notifications work fun, but any text ones freeze and instantly reboot my phone. I'll probably end up doing a full (everything I need is in the cloud, don't mind reinstalling apps) wipe and flash of fresh 3.2.

Since Saturday night, my EVO has randomly shut off and immediately restarted on several occasions. It happened once while charging overnight, once while on an audio call and the others while the phone was not charging and not being used. Do I require a software or firmware update?

My Desire has restarted itself a number of times automatically. Twice it restarted when I powered it up. It powered up and then restarted. Three times, it restarted while I was using the Navigation app. I wasn't actually using the turn by turn navigation. I started it and just started up the map. It worked for about a minute and then the phone restarted. The restart while the Navigation app was running happened twice today.
Has anyone had similar experiences? Do you recall what you were doing when it restarted?

I've noticed that lately my Legend restarts by it self in some specific situations, more often when I enter a place with no phone network. I'm going to give an example: I enter the elevator, which has no phone network. The legend shows the network icon with the cross. I exit the elevator 5 minutes have passed and Legend still wasn't able to recapture the network signal. I have to select manually a network to connect to. After this any operation I try to do like send an SMS or try to make a call, the phone just restarts.
This is the most common, but there are other situations where the phone restarts and all of them involve me using it. I'm absolutely sure that the phone does not restarts in standby mode. Maybe a hard reset would fix this, but I would like to now if anybody has this issue, and if there's other option than factory reset. I have all updates installed, some apps installed about 49.
