I have a 16 gb card in my galaxy S2 phone full of pics, videos & music. I just got a galaxy tab pro & bought a 32 gb card at same time. I would like to transfer all my music from the 16gb card to the 32gb card & then use the 32 gb card in the S2 (since I like having my music portable & take pics with the phone) & put the 16gb card in my pro. WI don't have a pc, but I have wifi.

I used to be able to just plug the phone into the computer via USB and a drive letter would appear and I would be able to easily move files off the phone and to my computer.
Now when I plug the phone in Media Share pops up with numerous menus and sub menus. Best I've been able to figure out to do is copy one individual file at a time to some mystery folder somewhere on my network. Or using DLNA it opens up Windows Media Player on my computer which shows previews of the photos but no way to transfer the actual files.
Is it possible to transfer music from the internal sd to an external sd on the ZTE Supreme? My daughter is getting error messages that she doesn't have enough memory to load more music, but her external sd card has about 29GB of space on it! Someone told me that I will have to erase everything on the phone and put the sd card and then reinstall everything. Is this true?
I did try getting the x-plore app to move the files, but I can't figure out how to use the app.

So I decided to buy a new sd card for my razr and I am having a problem transferring music to my phone.. Every time I try to move all 1400 songs it wants to pull every sound on the computer (about 2300 total)... How do i fix this? I could drag and drop the each song, Is there a better way? I hate having extra sounds in my power amp app...

I was a self confessed iphone lover.. But a few days ago curiosity got me and I decided to get a Galaxy S3.
I can't say how much a love this phone and am a bit ashamed that I didn't realize how great android devices were. So far I have been able to find out on my own how to do pretty much everything I needed done except for one thing.
I work in music hence have a lot of music on my phone. I didn't want to restart the cataloging process of recreating playlist after playlist. So i found a solution to transfer my itunes to my phone.
I did this with Air Sync and DoubleTwist. The main problem I have is it put all of my music on my internal memory card and now it is full. I have a 32gb external SD card that is empty right now and was wondering if there is a solution to quickly transfer all of my music from the internal memory to the SD card. Furthermore I would like for the air sync / doubleTwist software to put all future music on the SD card as well.
I want to move my iTunes over to Google Play music.
I guess in need a M4P to MP3 converter program.
I bought a lucid Droid phone from Verizon. And it didn't come with an SD Card. So I bought 1 at Walmart. And I'm wondering how to move my music from my internal memory of my phone to my SD card.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI absolutely love my Evo. Best phone I have ever had. I was recently going on a road trip and wanted to put some more music on my SD card. I copied over several new mp3 albums in folders, then created new folders of the artist under the Music directory, then I moved the mp3 albums under these new artist folders. Since then I cannot play almost all of my music on the HTC Music application. I can however use file manager and go to these mp3 and play them individually (in the HTC Music App). Some of the new music actually doesn't even show up in the HTC Music players list of music. I have tried the following troubleshooting steps
1. Install different music player (called music player)
2. Go to settings, applications, manage applications, Music, clear data
3. Cut and pasting an ablum back into the root of Music, and trying to play it
None of these worked. How do I resync the music player to my new music media?
Any ideas would help. Thank you!
are there any apps that allow music streaming from a computer to an android device via 3g network? i tried gmote 2.0, which seemed like a great app, although streaming music to the phone never worked, got an error message everytime and that was over wifi. anything that will stream music over 3g?

1. Go to Settings > Applications and then check the box called Unknown sources.
2. Use the phone�s browser and go to http://www.mecanto.com/ms and select "Android beta version".
3. After software is downloaded, press on the downloaded application and MeCanto will be installed.

You download their app to your phone, as well as the client for your computer, which scans your music collection in the designated folder and allows you to stream it to your phone.So far, it works great! It has some mis-tagging issues (it'll auto-tag on the website, which won't affect your actual files), and playlists are limited to 500 at the moment (which only bugs me because my favorites playlist on my now-dying Zune is well over 500 tracks) but the developers are taking all the feedback and are hard at work. This is the best service of its kind so far, I dare say.

I have an urgent problem with my desire and would appreciate any help. My desire is not detecting my computer when I connect the USB, I connect it and it begins charging instead of asking me about the connection type. As I was puzzled and thought this was very strange, I checked the "connect to PC" settings only to find out the "ask me" option was indeed enabled . When I connect the USB to the computer it begins charging and displays "USB" on battery status, but it does not actually detect the computer, nor does the computer detect the phone (even when I change the default connection type to "disk drive" it continues on charge mode). Has anyone any clue as to what is wrong with my desire? I am very confused because as I said, I select the "ask me" option but it does not "ask me", I really want to fix this as it means I cannot sync music onto it, any ideas?

I know how to connect/mount my droid to the computer, and have successfully transferred amazon mp3's that I purchased in the past. Just recently, I began experiencing problems. When I try to drag and drop, I get error messages saying that the file cannot be transferred because it is "in use." Or when I attempt to drag and drop to itunes, basically itunes freezes and I have to force quit.

It took a while but I did eventually figure it out.But now I'm having a very strange problem. I've had my SGS2 for about 2 weeks now. It's awesome, but I have a problem with the icons, especifically the VIDEO icon, I move it to one place, and after I download an app or move another icon it moves itself to the last page of icons. This happens like twice a day. I also have a folder with 27 icons, did a battery pull and the folder was empty and all the icons where roaming different pages.
