can I connect a USB flash drive with my Micromax A27 via a OTG cable. I don't know that Micromax A27 has officially OTG support or not, if not then how can I bring this feature on my rooted Micromax A27?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Sero 7 Pro that has a 32GB micro SD card. I would like to take it with me to the deer lease so I can back up all my trail cam pics to the 32GB card. So I got a micro USB to female USB adapter. Plugged a 16GB SD card into a card reader and plugged it into my adapter. The Sero 7 will not see the memory card at all. I have tried all the free usb mount apps and usb mass storage apps on Google play. I even rooted my tablet last night and it still won't see the memory card or my Verbatim flash drive (all formatted as FAT32).

1) Downlad CWM_6028_P275.zipfrom HERE [Dev-Host]and Novo_Tools.apk from HERE
2) Put both Novo_Tools_1_0.apk and recovery.img in /sdcard of your Funbook Infinity.
3) Install Novo_Tools_1_0.apk as a normal app.
4) Open NovoTools and grant SU (SuperUser) permissions.
5) Click Flash Recovery in NovoTools and wait for few seconds.
6) Next Click Enter Recovery in NovoTools and You will go to CWM Recovery 6.0.2.8.
i) If You Want to Go To Recovery :
ii) Switch Off the Tab.
iii) Press and Hold Home And Power Keys at the same time.

Use Novo_Tools.(Enter Reocvery option)This updated CWM reocvery contains the *** Go Back *** option which favours devices like P275 which doesn't sport back or volume rocker button.
So after installing Novo and rebooting to CWM, my phone remains in CWM on booting. And after that i'm just stuck at recovery. And just before that i had installed Superuser by ChainDD and updated using that to 3.1.1. it is in recovery and my stock ROM is lost. Not able to even wipe data factory reset. Always says cant mount storage.
Also, when i format data/factory reset i get E:format_volume: make_extf4fs failed on /dev/block/nandh.Even though the tablet is connected to laptop the tablet display gets turned on, but the tablet is not detecting on the laptop.
Under the settings for Connect to PC, the phone mounts as disk drive even though the radio button for 'charge only' is selected.
What else should i try?
I'm having problem with my micromax funbook p350. When ever i restart the phone, it comes in factory default mode. I don't know what is the exact problem. I can't even install extra apk files due to that. I want to flash my micromax p350 but i can't get the exact rom for it anywhere ? not even here....... and i don't know much about flashing android and solve this problems.

I have recently upgraded and rooted my Grand Duos i9082 (currently on Stock v4.1.2 AMB3), and was browsing through the "Root Explorer" app, when I noticed some folders under /mnt/ and /storage/ listed as UsbDriveA, UsbDriveB, UsbDriveC. I can connect a USB Flash drive to my phone, and use it as an external storage media? I believe this function is available on Samsung Note & S3 as an inbuilt function (i.e. without having to install any external application). I would like to know if the same function is available on my Grand Duos.

I have tried this on a vista and xp machine same results. I unmounted the sd card. Then reformatted it. Same results. Also is there a trick on how to remove it from the phone? Now when I click on a flash file, I get a choice to download or play. I click play, and the screen goes black. There is some sort of spinning 'loading' graphic, then I get a popup that says "Cannot play video Unable to connect to server". This happens on any of the major video sites.
