General :: XBMC PVR Not Running On All Devices
Aug 15, 2013I have a custom built PVR for XBMC that runs flawlessly on my PC, Macbook Pro, Nexus 7 tablet and Nexus S phone. The addon installs successfully on both my Jynx XD and Jynx HD but when I enable the addon after activating the PVR service I get the 'unexepected error' messages and the addon disables it self.
Is there a specific reason it should work on my Nexus 7 tablet and Nexus S phone and not on my Jynxbox's? I was under the impression that a armeabi-v7a compiled library should work on all supported devices? Is this a wrong assumption?

General :: Google Now Won't Work Offline
May 19, 2014My understanding is that I can use Google Now voice commands offline "as long as it was for something that doesn't need an internet connection to perform" like setting alarm and opening apps. and for that purpose I have to install the appropriate language under "offline speech recognition", which I already have it pre-installed on my phone.
The issue here is that while I'm connected to the internet via wifi, Google Now works fine, but the moment I turn wifi off and go offline, Google Now stops working! It still recognize the hot word trigger "OK Google" but after listening to my command it shows this response "Didn't catch that. Try speaking again".
I turn wifi on, and it works again! even though I used the same exact voice command! I have language pack pre-installed on my Moto G "running Kitkat", and everything seems to be in order, so why isn't it working offline?

Jun 29, 2012I bought a tablet for my wife. Not the best thing out there but hey, she likes the solitaire on it. The amazon app store sucks. I want the "real" app store..... I've tried downloading a bunch of diff versions. But nothing wants to work. I got one to work, well, somewhat. It let access it and play around. It wouldn't let me d/l anything. Any good app is in the Google play store.

I would REALLY like to have my Outlook calendar (at minimum) pushed/synchronized to my phone. Is there an app or a way to configure this to work? Right now I am using the Outlook Web Mobile app for my email and I can view my calendar there but I would like schedule/calendar all in one place.

HTC EVO 4G :: Google Sky / Compass Doesn't Work Right
Aug 22, 2010First day or two Google Sky worked fine, but I realized yesterday Google Sky didn't want to move left/right from holding the phone sideways but would move up/down. I found if I gave is a good shake left/right it would work right as far as I could tell. I checked around for what it might be and saw it could be a problem with the magnetic sensor. I tried the compass app and I get a "abnormal magnetic field detected" message right away. Should I return this or maybe reset some sort of setting or is there another way to calibrate?

I have it programmed in my contacts (or I did on my old BB) with the pauses and password pre-entered
However, with Google Voice, this doesn't work; when I have it programmed in, GV just calls my GV voicemail...
I can turn google voice off, or change it to 'ask every time', but really don't want to.....

Apr 26, 2010when i first got my HTC Desire i set it up with my google account which i use for everything, gmail,calendar etc. everything worked fine until i went to the market place, i couldn't download anything, it just kept saying download failed please try again this really annoyed me so i did factory reset twice but still the same problem. so the i reset again and in setup this time i choose to make a new google account instead of using my current one, and when it was all done, yup you guessed it, the market place worked! anyone any ideas why this is like this and why i couldnt use my original account?
