Feb 13, 2013I'm just wondering if there's a way to play Tegra-only games on a non-Tegra device? I know it was possible on earlier versions of Android with Chainfire3d, but I haven't found a solution for phones with Jelly Bean. (GT-I9100 with CM 10.1 to be more specific)

Apr 26, 2012Dark Meadow is finally out, and it looks amazing.... but I don't own a Tegra-3 device (yet). It is built "built specifically for the Tegra 3 4-PLUS-1 chipset". We have gotten Tegra-2 games to work on non-tegra devices with Chainfire and other tweeks... so is it even possible to play on a Tegra-2 device?

May 27, 2010In case anyone else is having problems getting their Incredible to connect, the easiest way I found to install the USB drivers are with the HTC sync program here:

The google SDK driver doesn't yet work with the Incredible, and though it can be hacked - this download might be easier for some.

Jan 18, 2014i am looking for a button background graphic to replace the dull android one.
i have a square button with text, the text must be easily visible. i am looking for a graphic that's like webbed lightning. here is a really awful example i made
i would like more "lightning" but with a lower intensity, so text is easily visible on top of it. i think a size of 150x150 should be sufficient, i am also wanting the lighting in these colors dark blue,light blue, yellow, red, and green.
my Photoshop skills are not good enough to make this (i don't use photoshop), not exactly sure how to proceed about getting these graphics,

But I do not know where this factory driver is located. How removed from Nandroid backup and put in a cell phone.

In the device manager the device was listed as "K8GT_W" and marked with "no driver installed".if there is a driver for this device or how to use some "generic" usb device driver with this device?

General :: Failed To Load Driver
May 14, 2012I am porting the Sony Tablet S ROM (Honeycomb) to my Toshiba Thrive. I got most things working but I cannot get the damn wifi working. Logcat says "Unable to load wifi driver". Kernel is 2.6.36.3.
Typically this is a kernel / wifi module issue but I am using the same kernel/module that I use with all other ROMs I make and it works fine. I've copied over all wifi libs, wpa configs, etc but I'm at a loss. This is the biggy that is keeping me from releasing this ROM.

Apr 5, 2012I've just got a Eken T01 Tablet bit of a bargain to be honest :) Anyway.....
I would like to add a usb gps driver to it. Now from what I understand I need a few things.
1. USB Host
2. USB Linux Drivers
3. Root
I have all three and the driver is a PL-2303 USB to Serial Driver. From what I can gather I need to put these c.
files into a specific folder on my tablet and then edit a couple of files to load these drivers on startup ?
Am I going down the right root ? or completely off the mark ?
I've tried to do alot of reading but not getting far really because most tablets either have built in gps or they dont normally have a host usb port.
Linux Kernel 2.4.31 and above already includes built-in drivers for PL-2303H, PL-2303XA/HXA and PL-2303HXD.
NOTE: Google Android OS is also based on Linux kernel so it also supports PL2303.
does that mean it already has a driver installed and I'm just missing something ? How would I check ?
General :: Possible To Backup Sound Driver
Apr 18, 2014I have the following problem with an android tablet (ainol captain).For the moment I am using a stock firmware (fw A) where almost everything works good except for the battery.On another newer stock firmware (fw B) almost everything works good except for the sound when the headset is plugged in.
I tried installing Pimpmyrom in which you can install an 'enchancing' sound driver but it didnt work. The sound did get a bit better. I also tried viper4androidFX with the same 'a bit better' result. I dont think this is a hardware problem since sound works fine one fw A.Is it possible to backup the sound driver and/or settings from fw A and install these on fw B?
