Is there any way to prevent unauthorized or accidental uninstall of apps or modify setting on the phone ?
I mean, some sort of password protection without which the settings cannot be changed or apps uninstalled.

is there any app that blocks another apps to start. for example if i close the facebook app and remove it from the memory with the task manager, facebook starts after 10 seconds again. i dont mean apps like task killer that kill the app after it started.

So before I download any more apps, any App that doesn't notify you when a blocked number calls? Seems like an obvious thing, but they way these apps function seem to defeat the whole purpose of ignoring unwanted calls.
I am planning to buy my son and daughter the new nexus 7 for for education purposes, they are 6 and 7 respectively, so their frontal lobe is not yet developed to make sound judgement. It is against both our family code and kyokushin oath to engage in sloth, and I certainly don't want to buy them a device that would do more damage and good.
I have discussed this with my wife that the only condition we going to buy to the tablet is that we can be sure that no gaming app ever can be installed. If I let my children sign in with their own gmail account into the nexus 7, is their parental control that I can set up that would notify me that gaming apps have been installed on their account or better block all game apps?
If all else fails, I'll just have to periodically check the tablets for gaming apps.
So my Samsung Galaxy S4 was delivered yesterday and I set it up like normal only to find a lot of pre-installed apps. The problem I am having is that I can't uninstall them. So my question is how do I uninstall an app like that?

It's Remembering apps from Two of my Previous phones and Also from my Current phone when I Switched my Build.prop information! I tried installing "Black Hole Live" wallpaper from the PlayStore, it failed to install BUT left some sort of remnants in the "Apps Listing" that will not allow being uninstalled. It shows as 00B on all "storage" and is "Disabled". Being from IT, I like things clean and tiddy. This remnant refuses to uninstall, I've even looked everywhere it could reside using ES File Explorer, nothing. HOW do I get rid of this stinker??
Second: I'm sure this has been covered before, but I have to ask again if not. There are Apps that are put on the device from the factory, buried somewhere in the OS, that aren't "free" apps after a ridiculously short "Trial Period". I want to remove them, they're using up storage space and I don't use them. One in particular with an absurd 7 day free trial is PRESS READER. I want it off! I downloaded an Uninstaller called "Root Uninstaller APK", but it shows nothing that any other Uninstaller does and Press Reader is not shown.
There are some stock apps that come with my phone that I really dont need like google play magazines. Is there any app i can download that i can totally uninstall programs liek this from my phone I do not need.

I don't have the pro version, do I just go to the Backup/Restore menu and click the app and uninstall? Is that it? Also, some of the apps don't seem to show up in Titanium backup. Specifically, I wanted to uninstall Messenger, but I can't find it in the list. So, I'm trying to sideload a file onto the device but I'm getting an unauthorized message, as seen in the photo attached. I'm on a computer I've previously authorized, and I've tried one I hadn't, but both give me the same message.
Is there any way I can bypass this to get this file on my phone? Since I can't sideload through this, I've basically hit a wall.My recovery is CWM, but I've gone through every option and nothing seems to allow authorization. my phone's basically a brick at the moment.

(device has windows drivers from SDK; "Android Composite ADB Interface". adb version 1.0.31)
when I do adb devices, it does see my device but it says my device is unauthorised.
It has never displayed the security popup.
I am convinced that the security pop up would make this work, but i cannot get it to show, so that it does whatever magic it does.
I have tried plugging and unplugging the usb cable,
I have tried turning USB debugging on and off.
I have changed the USB connection from Camera, to Media, back to Camera.
I can see the adbkey file under $HOME/.android in windows
The android directory /data/misc/adb/ is empty
I have root.
How can I force the security popup to display? Or how can I frig this so I can get it working?
What does the secuirty popup do anyway? probably just copy the adbkey file from windows into the android /misc/adb/ directory right? Can I do it by hand?
Slightly unrelated question, is it true that everything works first time, everytime on IOS?
I have samsung galaxy nexus and today i tried to flash a rom and the device stuck to the boot logo. The volume rocker doesn't work to go to fastboot mode or recovery mode and the adb device is anauthorized.

I am looking to find out how to uninstall the apps that came with my htc evo. Like Friend stream and bookmarks. and other apps i will never use to free up some memory. It i go to settings > application . there is no where to remove app.

Trouble is, I'd like to add even more. So is there a way to make room in my phone (not my SD card) other than uninstalling? I don't think it's possible to move apps to my spacious card and link them, right?
