General :: Asphalt 8 On 512 MB RAM Low Memory?

I recently installed the latest version of Asphalt 8 on the play store(where it is shown that my device is compatible)/But even after setting at the lowest graphics setting,the game after starting exits showing low memory.I even installed clean master where they have an option of boosting for games(showing that the game was boosted by 24%).Still,it was of no use. I have 512 MB RAM,1 GHz dual core CPU/WHat else can I do to run this game?(besides running in airplane mode,clearing RAM etc).Also my device is non-rooted.

I have a samsung galaxy young s6312, stock android 4.1.2 jellybean, rooted. I want to install asphalt 8 (about 1.6 gb) on my device. But the problem is that even if I factory reset my device, the maximum free memory I can get is 1.48 gb as my device internal memory is 1.5 gb. I have an external sd card of 8 gb. so how can I install the game with its data DIRECTLY on the external sd? My device is rooted and busybox installed..

It is possable to run asphalt 8 on LG L3 E400? i saw some youtube videos and guys run it with this phone, so i downloaded data and game(cracked) and when i start game its says to game data is successfully downloaded. i press ok, and game relunch and its says checking license and there is logo of gameloft and game then just close? what shell i do?

I bought asphalt 8. Its a great game best racing game thats for sure but I tried connecting my ps3 controller to play it like that with NO GO. 0 support its like nothing is connected. Tried countless times trying to make it work managed to get r1 and l1 working for boost and break but no movement what so ever with the analog sticks no matter which one I try.

I download ASPHALT 7 with obb data file. I copied all(APk + Obb file) on my sd card.
when i install apk it installed successfully but when i start game Gameloft logo come and my screen become blank and i return to menu.
I copied it on sdcardandroidobb.
how can i install it or from where i can download game again?

I ordered Asphalt 8 and i went to Multiplayer mode I found its only playable uaing wifi not the 3G I dont have wifi , and even the 3g is faster than my wifi Is there any way to play asphalt via 3g not wifi ?

I downloaded the free asphalt 5 game, it was a small program initially, but wen i loaded it up, it wanted to download 98megs worth of extra data. Thing is, i didnt like the game, so went to uninstall it, it only said it was 8megs worth, which i deleted. Have i got 90+meg worth of data hiding somewhere on my phone?

When starting to play Asphalt 5 it says it needs to download a 96MB file and recommends using a wi-fi connection to do it. First, did you guys do it over the air or Wi-Fi? Second, is the game worth the 96mb download. How long does it take to download?

An interesting addendum to the Gameloft debate.I bought Asphalt 5 when if came out on the Market in April. It's now been pulled (presumably connected to Gameloft going to direct distribution). One think I notice is that when I pull up my list of Downloads in the Market application it no longer shows up. Presumably this means I won't be receiving updates on it.But presumably this also means I cannot reinstall it if I clear some memory / bork my phone / have a horrible experience with the Gingerbread update &tc &tc.Are they allowed to do this? Isn't one of the reasons I buy on the Market because I know I have the right to reinstall? Let's look at the marketplace agreement which (presumably) Gameloft signed up to: Android.com.Take a close look at clauses 3.6 and 7.1.
1) I have the right to unlimited reinstalls (3.6).
2) Even if an app is taken down by the vendor, my licence rights are unaffect (7.1).
3) There are special cases where an app can be taken down and reinstall rights suspended (if it infringes copyright, is defamatory etc). However if taken down under these circumstances I am entitled to a refund (7.1).
So as I see it taking down Asphalt 5 and denying me my right to unlimited installs contravenes the Marketplace agreement (does anyone else have experience with other paid apps that have been taken down?). And even if the app was taken down because it was dodgy (which I don't think it has done), I should be entitled to a full refund.I've lobbed a request into Gameloft support to see what they come out with, but I don't hold up much hope.

My application is designed to support both portrait and landscape orientations. Using my HTC IO device, it survives 12 orientation changes before throwing an out of memory exception while inflating my activity.When I follow the recommended procedure of using DDMS to first force a GC and then write a heap dump, and then load it into the Eclipse Memory Analyzer, there is only one retained instance of my application, as there should be. None of the other retained objects are obvious offenders. Just for yuks, I reran the test, and did everything the same way except I didn't force a GC. In this case I see 13 instances of my application, which is more consistent with throwing an OOM exception. Is this telling me something useful? If forcing a GC with DDMS reclaims the memory used by now-defunct instances of my activity, I would have thought the VM would have garbage collected some, if not all of these defunct activities automatically. Do I need to request GC at the very beginning of my activity lifecycle to make sure?

I have a 4GB SD card and it thinks that it has a total of 200MB on there (Its empty). I have tried formatting it using my Mac & via the phone itself but it continues to believe that its a 200MB MiniSD card.

Not had my desire long but down loaded a few apps for it they all seem to be stored on phone memory not the sd card. what is stored to the sd card seems to be unused so far. do you have to set it up to use sd card or does it know one is fitted. does it switch to sd card when phone memory full. will run out of space soon if can't get things to store to card instead of phone mem.

Just bought a Ramos W31 tablet. I download some few games and it's popping that I don't have enough space in my system memory or it is called external memory. I have a screen shot that indicates my memory which is 1gb internal and 13gb sd card, but according to device manager that my system memory is full. Surprised this wasn't asked yet as Google made it very clear 4.4 is made for lower memory devices.
As I'm running 4.3 on my Galaxy Nexus I'm faced with updating myself to 4.4 once it's stable and fully functional. However, I'm wondering if I should based on the memory usage. 4.3 started making my phone lag a bit and have slower UI between app switching and such. Similar issues to:
4.3 high RAM usage?
So, how much memory 4.3 uses in comparison to 4.4? It would be interesting to see how Google has based it's claim to a 512MB memory phone being sufficient while 4.3 may not be?
