Application Crashing On S4 Running 4.3

My application is crashing on Samsung S4 running android 4.3. Crash stack is as follows. What could be causing this?

Within the last week my tablet stating running very slow.
Pages take a long time to load Apps take forever to load Apps crash every other time I open them.
I thought it was my router (netgear n600) but my iPad and cell phone.

I have an application which fetches data from server and shows it in different lists in my application. I used the adb shell procrank command to find out the memory usage of my application It takes 10 mb for the UI (I have a single Activity ,but many layout files), And the data which comes from the server is stored in memory arrays for logical representation on UI (As well as database)and it takes 6 mb of the memory .So application's runtime size reaches to 16 mb and then many a times its crashing after that with OutOfMemoryException. Another major problem is that later for the next client release , the data comming from the server will be around 12 mb.. :( :( So i need to do a major restructuring in the App.I beleive that i cannot increase my App size from 16 mb to more So my question here is , can i have two seperate applications , one of which will fetch the data from the server and keep it in memory as well as database and another App will be used for showing the UI and it will do an inter Application communication to fetch the data and display it on the UI in this App. So the 1st App wil be a backgrond App which will handle Server communication as well as data storage , the second App will start this 1st App .

Day 2, now everytime I try and connect the MTP Application screen pops up, then crashes, then pops up again, then crashes, and continues to do so until I unplug. Has anyone else experienced this and fixed it?
Changing the USB setting to anything else, such as Mass Storage, works fine.
I've tried on Windows 7 and WinXP with the same result. Drivers are already on the computer from the first time.

I have a project that builds against Android v2.1 . I can run it fine on a phone running 1.5 but when I try to launch it with an emulator running 1.5, the emulator doesn't show up on the list of available AVDs. I have the <uses-sdk android:minSdkVersion="3"/> tag in my manifest but it doesn't make a difference.

I want my app to kill a running app but i got the problem that since AP I 8 the method is deprecated and i need to use another function. So i want that if AP I level of the device is smaller than 8 it runs this
Activity Manager a M = (Activity Manager) this.get System Service(ACTIVITY_SERVICE); a M.restart Package(package); And from 8 this But how do i accomplish this because using something like an if will make the compiler complain.

I have two layouts: layout-port and layout-land. If I run the app with emulator or device, either vertically or horizontally, the app runs fine with the correct layouts. However, if I rotate either the emulator or device, the app exits. There's no crashing, perse', it just exits. I have other app's with similarly defined layouts that work fine without any orientation handling in the manifest. I'm not concerned about persisting data.
The main differences between the one's that work and this one are (this one has):
* Menus with sub-menus
* Dialog screens (not the android dialog widget)
* Tab widget
All of the above items work in their respective layouts (port and land), the app just exits when rotating the emulator or device and I need to restart the app.

I create new Project.
In that I move to res -> layout -> create one xml file.!
I gave name Login.xml but it show error (only [a-z] and [0-9] allowed).
Then I remove the file and create new file as login.xml.!
But It show the new Error "your project contain error(s) please fix them before running your application"
How to I fix the error..!

I have made an app which have target sdk a 2.2 and min sdk version as 3. And i have 2 services which start at boot time. when i run the app on 1.6 than it is running fine but as i try to run the app on 2.2 my services get start but got Crash after some time. why this is happening? when i look at log cat it is giving me something like this which i not coming in 1.6

I developed an "heavy" application (700 Mb !). With an "apk installer" application, i can install it on the Nexus One SD card (Froyo "installLocation" option). My application is heavy because of the videos it contains (located in /raw directory). The problem I have, is that it crashes when launched, with this error :

I notice that my application continues to run in the background after I hit the home or back button. I tried calling the finish() method and it still says its running. On another note, how do I setup the keyListener to respond to the user hitting the back or home button. I tried implementing OnKeyListener and using findViewById(R.Layout.main).setOnKeyListener(this) to call finish().

I want the application to run in background. This application should run continuously and should never get killed. Will running application as Service solve this issue? The application should get started automatically on start up. I don't need any GUI for this application. The main issue is Service getting Killed. At the moment I can run the command from the terminal and it works but when I try to run it from the application it fails (and I don't know why - there is no USB on my Android phone to plug in the debugger).

The Emulators don't have this command to run - and they are running on Windows anyway. I can't think of anything else to add to this.

This is sort of about task managers, and yet, not. I have an application I need to stay open (meebo) but Androids's task manager closes it sometimes. I have tried using task managers to keep enough memory free that Android won't kill Meebo, but it usually gets killed eventually anyway. Does anyone have an idea on how to keep it open? I am running 2.2.

Ok, forgice my noobishness, but I am not sure if I have a problem or not. I have been reading a lot about how some people Droids open up apps spontaneously. I think that may be happening to me. They don't open up on the screen but lets say I kill all the running apps with taskiller or advanced task killer, and then I open up either task manager and bam, there is a whole bunch or crap running without me actually opening anything up.

I having problem in my application.. I am pressing back button in my third activity but its running in running in background(i noticed by used Log statement).
