In there, all the red parts contain tutorials on settings that don't actually work on my device, and for OCD sake, I don't want them appearing in my settings because of it. But simply cutting them out of that file will make the settings app crash whenever i open that menu
So question is: is there a way to hide these settings without impairing their functions?

Oct 1, 2010I am using seek bar to show the progress of the video which I am playing. I am using Media Player / Video View. But when I move the thumb of the seek bar back and forth, the video is not starting correspondingly from the position of the thumb. Anybody has any idea of how to load the video from where the seekbar's thumb is positioned?

Jul 26, 2010I have a context menu that starts to do some calculations when you press one of the context menu items.While the calculations are made I have a progressbar that I want to show. The progressbar is called from the calculations() method. The problem is that I can only see the context menu while the calculations are being made and the phone is more or less frozen.

In the sub menu I have a setting for enabling/disabling images in my application based on the application level flag that i change based on the option being clicked.What I am observing is that when i click on the "Menu" and change the settings from enable Images to disable Images. its not reflecting.I have put the debug log and what have been seen is the onOptionCreateMenu method is getting called only one time- first time when i click the "Menu" button. That is the reason the changed sub menu is not getting reflected.My question is that is there a way i can re-create the option menu every time user presses the "Menu Button".
