I can't update any applications in the Market now because I accidentally deleted my android keystore. Does anyone know how I could get it back? I've tried running a recovery program, but for whatever reason it's not showing up.

The phone has this nasty habit of not deleting my files that I want to delete. I am talking about photos here. old crap photos that I dont want anymore or that are somewhat inappropriate as I use my phone for business but they constantly reappear on my phone. I have no idea where they are hidden or go and then come back from. I have even taken the SD card out of the phone and deleted them off there only to find them back on. I had SYNC completely disabled but that is also not an option as I have lost work due to emails not getting to me in time, silly damn phone.. So how in the world does one permanently delete the photos of the phone and why do they keep on popping back up after being deleted? Especially if you use the rapid shoot mode, i dont want to keep all the bad ones but after I delete them they reappear.
I don't know if this is a problem with using double twist to sync music then the default player to play it, but i recently wiped all my phones music using double twist media sync program and then put some more music on... after this i went into the default music player and it was very lagy and showed songs that i had removed with double twist but when i went to play them it would play a random song that was on the phone... does anyone know how to get the media player on droid x to rescan your SD card so i can realize that some songs are gone now?

Now phone wont boot exactly, it only shows a green android logo and thats all it doesn't continue after that.
I accidentally deleted or misplaced the original stock recovery when trying to install CWM. when booting into recovery I get a black screen. It is also rooted. Any link so i can download the stock recovery? Been trying to look on here for a while now, and tried google and everything.

every time i turn off the DX and then turn it back on, it starts up in the clockwork recovery program, is this supposed to happen? i also lose some apps and widgets that i have downloaded, it says they are installed but when i try and find them, they are not there...

before doing anything , when i enter the recovery mode it shows a picture of an Android and a Triangle next to it " Which should be the background image of the recovery mode " and there's no menus or anything , nothing appears even if i press power or volume buttons
So now after i rooted the phone , installed another recovery.img with MobileUncle , it just keeps stuck on the phone's logo and doesnt even show that triangle picture and it doesnt show anything but the phone's logo
I tried a lot of different recovery.img files but none worked, Then I tried a recovery img that worked for another guy who has the same mobile kind , it worked for him but didnt work for me
Even after flashing it with MobileUncle , still i get the same problem..
All what i edited in the root files was the boot sound and animation and i even restored the stock ones back and still the same problem
and the last_log file in System(Root)/cache/recovery Includes this

PS : Oct 15 is the last day i ran the stock recovery that only shows up the background image of recovery .. So all the recovery runs after flashing new recoveries till Oct 23 arent logged in last_log..
When I uploaded photos from my phone which is a HTC One x it shows all the deleted photos that I took which I deleted on my phone also it keeps duplicating the photos so end up having 3 of each photo.

After rebooting the rom is stuck, so now i want to get back to stock but , i have not placed stock rom on internal sd card

The docs are a little spares on what I'm support to put into for the -dname param. Here is the line I'm using: keytool -genkey -v -alias release -keyalg RSA -keysize 2048 -dname "CN=mydomain.com" -keystore my.keystore -validity 10000
What is required in the -dname (Distinguished Name) field? I found out that I can include the CN field. Are there other fields that I must put in before the Market will accept the app? Any good optional ones to put in? Updated I found out I can examine other apk's by using: jarsigner -verify -verbose -certs nameof.apk
I have some code for my app that creates a keystore in android, creates some default keys then saves the keystore. Later on the code tries to reload the keystore, on the emulator this runs fine however when run on a phone I get an EOFException. Any advice on where I'm going wrong?

I used Eclipse to Compile and Sign my application, which gave me a keystore file and a .apk file. Now i need to generate the MD5 for my MapViews. I tried using the cmd prompt to generate it, but everytime it states that no such file exists. Is there somewhere special i need to be storing the keystore so the keytool has access to it? Also, once i get the MD5 fingerprint, all i have to do is insert it and re-compile and sign my application (the same way i previously did it). Am i correct on that assumption?
