Nov 18, 2010I have a latitude and longitude values as a double value(37.33168900, -122.03073100).
I want to convert it to the degree value like (37 19' 54 ,48 11' 52 ).

Jun 8, 2009When camera is launched in portrait mode, the viewfinder screen is 90 degrees rotated and stretched out. I read couple of places that this is a known bug with sdk1 but i am still finding this problem with cupcake. Has anyone having any idea is this issue is fixed in cupcake or in donut? any clues how to move ahead. setOrientation and changing the preview size didn't help. Oct 29, 2010On your HTC EVO 4G, go to Settings > Language & keyboard > Touch Input > International keyboard and check the box in the screen shot attached. Now go into the app that you want to type the degree symbol in and use the microphone key with the EN underneath to access the degree symbol. Go to 12# > 1/3 and you will see a degree symbol, along with the degree C & degree F symbols.

Dec 29, 2009I have the moto droid and my girl has the eris. I was trying to get latitude to work on her eris, but when you click menu when in google maps and you hit latitude, nothing happens. All the other icons works, e.g. when I tap my location it takes me to the current location on google maps. I even tried downloading google maps again and setting up latitude and requesting her to join latitude but it says 'i already have latitude - launch it' which again, doesn't work.

Feb 25, 2010I use Google Latitude with several friends, but have noticed that when I run it in the background, my last know location on the friends phone shows where I "stopped" but never updates. Example: I leave my house with Google Maps/Latitude running and decide I want to listen to DroidLive. Once I switch to DroidLive it appears that Latitude stops broadcasting my locations and my friends see that I'm in the middle of a highway for 30-40 minutes until I kill my music and go back to the maps. Is this a known "bug" or is it something that just doesn't work? I thought that the processes would continue to work, but I might be wrong. I also notice that when launching another app while in Google Maps that my GPS indicator also stops until I get back into the Maps.

Aug 21, 2010I used to really love the Latitude interface, when I clicked on a friend in Latitude, I got a screen with many options, including Navigate to, send text, etc.
One really cool feature on this screen was "what's nearby" which showed stores etc. that were near my friend.
Also, the background was black and the text was white.
NOW (after the last update): I lost the "what's nearby" feature AND the background is white and the text is black.
What can I do? Is there a way to revert maps to the older release?

Feb 25, 2010My girlfriend and I would really like to utilize Latitude. But it's always off, behind, or wrong. We can be sitting next to each other in the same car and it will tell me where she was 12 hours ago, and on mine is has me where I currently am, but on her it has me 4 hours ago. Refreshing does nothing. I don't understand why it is not working.Also, when I am at work, which is in Indianapolis, it says I am at Center, IN. When she is a work, again in Indianapolis, it says Washington, IN. When I am at home in Greenwood, it says all kinds of stuff that's not correct.Am I doing something wrong?Also, I meant to ask, is there another app that we could use for this? This tool is handy for us because we carpool and I would like to be able to know where she is so I know when to go out to meet her.

Jul 31, 2010It used to work fine but about 3 months ago it had just stopped updating on either of our phones. I have a friend on my friends list and his latitude position updates on my phoned fine (although her has disappeared also in the last few days also). The only way I can get too see my wifes location oon my phone is for her to open google maps on her phone to update her position. The same is true for her to see my location on her phone. No settings have been changed so I don't know what had happened, does anyone know how to fix this bug?
