I'm trying to catch the mouse click location so I wrote an onClick in the body tag, but every time I click on the page the whole page turn orange for a little while. Is there any setting can disable this effet?

I have some WebView widgets inside my Activity. I use loadData() to set the content, and this html contains a link. Some of my WebViews work okay, when I click the link, the web browser is started in a new window, but some make my app crash when I click on a link.

There seems to be a problem with the Intent that the WebView fires when I click the URL, but I have no control of this Intent, I think. Does anybody have any idea?
I use this AsyncTask to set the content in the WebView, and it works fine.code...
I want to extend the WebView so that I can override the action of clicking on a link in the webview. At first glance I do not see how to do this. I tried adding an onclick handler to the WebView and that had absolutely no effect. I am not seeing very much info on extending the WebView control and was hoping someone might have some suggestions.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a WebView in my Android App that is loading an HTML string using the loadDataWithBaseURL() method. The problem is that local anchor links (<a href="#link">...) are not working correctly. When the link is clicked, it becomes highlighted, but does not scroll to the corresponding anchor.
This also does not work if I use the WebView's loadUrl() method to load a page that contains anchor links. However, if I load the same URL in the browser, the anchor links do work.
Is there any special handling required to get these to work for a WebView?
I am using API v4 (1.6).

I have Wildfire S with Cyanogenmod 2.6.35.13-CRYPTOMILK-g721bcd9 (version 9.0.0-RC2 ALPHA 6 marvel) based on Android 4.0.4.
I've installed also Int2Ext and two or three days ago Adrenaline.
And it worked just fine.
Until yesterday. Two days ago I started to have a indicator that i have memory full. But when i went into memory settings i have a lot of memory.
But i've uninstalled one game.
And still nothing.
After that i've browsed internet with Opera and a popup showed to ask me if i want to download Porn.apk. Of course i cancelled it.
And today my phone didn't go beyond the loading animation.
So i've uninstalled Andrenaline.
And it started.
But since that i can not touch and move my screen.
On the screen there is a blue circle displayed and when i move my screen it does not move; the circle does.
And i'ts impossible to do anything now on my phone. Because it's hard to use this circle thing.
I've found on the internet you should go to Settings -> Developer Settings -> Touch display and disable it.
So i did it but still i have this circle. I also tried to enable it, restart, disable it, restart and nothing.
Installing Andrenaline didn't work also. Is this some kind of a virus? Or settings broken?
Is there any way to fix it with command line or some other software and not with wiping whole phone?
In my application, how do I disable the transition animation that shows the new activity layout enter from the right and the old one exit to left? Versions 2.0 -> 2.2 if relevant.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy activity has a LinearLayout which contains a TableLayout and a WebView. The TableLayout has button and a TexView. This is created from code instead of using R.java (for our own reason).
Things are displayed correctly, however I can NOT click on the links inside the WebView (I can NOT browser through inside the WebView). This doesn't happen if I only have WebView inside the contentView. Are there some layout setting I missed?
OK so I have an rss reader that links to articles. One of the sites it links to doesn't have a mobile view. I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to set the "zoom" and position of the view once the page is loaded? With a TextView you would simply set the android:autoLink to the desired settings:

I am trying to add a webview in my app to display a web page. However, every time I click link on the web page, Browser will be launched to display content in that link. I understand it is something about intent but I am still wondering is there any simpler method to ask webview to display link content within its View ?
