Does anyone know of an app to record phone calls? If not, I'm going to look into building one. I'd really like to just record all of my phone calls to have copies of them if I ever need to refer back to them.

Looking for an app that will record both sides of a conversation. I have tried Vrecorder and I do not get any volume. I have a moment with 2.1 installed.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI bought Milestone about 4 month ago. I am looking for a call record application for both incoming and outgoing calls bus so far I haven't found a working one. I tried total recall and phone recorder - didn't work. I know google voice have option to record incoming but not outgoing calls. I heard somewhere that Milestone have this option disabled by hardware anyone knows if this is true? Anyway if anyone can recommended a tested working record app (pay or free I dont care at this point).
View 2 Replies View RelatedI live in Indiana so one person is needs to know. I only need an app that will run on the Droid X now. I have reported it to the FCC, and they said to get a recording of the call and as much information as possible.
It's E Business Group (602) and the are calling for Anthony which is the wrong number, but as soon as I even start to ask to be taken off their list they say "Sorry for bothering you" and hang up so quick I can't even get the words out.
Why do I have to view my texts as conversations? I like to see them in the order they came in. Why do texts with picture and video attached not 'play'? Instead, they show up as having attachments (a song and a picture). Why can I not figure out how to save a draft? I typed a message but decided I was not ready to send. Had to "discard" and retype later.

Also, we were able to test this on a few Android Smartphones, but we are looking forward to seeing if there are any issues on phones we have not tested on. So, if you run into an issue please include, at the least, the Android Smartphone manufacturer, product name, Android OS version number (e.g. Android 2.2).
I just got a new g1 today and was reinstalling my apps. I noticed the video recorder app is no longer on the market. I was able to find the voice client (sound for the video) but not the actual video recorder. Does anyone know why it was pulled by google or does anyone know the dev's site/or have it where I can just download it?

Is there a way (possibly on the pc instead) to just download the app installer, and archive it for later use? I'm thinking about things like fancy widgets, that had to be removed, updated apps that are not as attractive as the original release, or applictions that might just vanish over time. They are all small, and I'd prefer to archive them on our PC, just in case. Is there a way to pull the installers off the internal memory of the phone?

My problem is that when user taps on the home button,the application should terminate and when the user again starts my application, he should be able to see the Login screen again and after successful Login, user should be able to see the tab on which he was working before application terminated(i.e., save state for all the tabs).
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've encountered a problem wile using my own subclass of android.app.Application. I have numerous activities in my application and I'm running a custom ROM which consumes quite a lot of memory. What happens is when I launch a third party activity (Camera) my Application is killed. My Application subclass stores vital data for the whole app so it can't work without it. android.app.Application doesn't have any methods for saving or restoring application state. Activity does have them but they are not suitable.
How to perform save/restore state on Application subclass?
UPDATE I've managed to do so by filling a Bundle obtained from onSaveInstanceState and restoring values in onCreate. But is there any better way?
