Nov 3, 2010

I rooted my X 2.2. I installed the 928 Black Glass and then the REVOlution theme...but I'm unclear about roms vs themes...Should I be running some rom with a theme over it? I've been trolling the threads but can't seem to find a concrete answer on this...

Expect a long reboot as the name/carrier color changes cause that.

Big thanks to justintoxicated for a lot of bug work/help and some photo shop.

A huge thanks to bouchigo for the help with the new/sweet addition of the carrier change and color in the bar writing/clock....looks awesome!

Shout out to dhoffman1421 for being the first to toss it on 2.2.1 and reporting back.

Props to colchiro for the link for fold animation.

Warning; theme uses wide screen dx camera and notepad, etc.

Motorola Droid :: Do Theme's Use More Power

Sep 13, 2010

I have a Question, I had liquid froyo 1.6 on my phone with one of the available themes, compared to bb0.4 it used a lot more of the battery.Yes I had the same apps on the phone with the same widgets and using the phone in the same areas as I normally do. Also used it less than I have with bb 0.4. I went from 100% down to 90% in about 15 min. just using a IM Program. Do these phones have more drain with a theme installed. I know that blackberry's suffered from this problem.

Motorola Droid :: Looking For A Pink Theme?

Aug 4, 2010

I have been trying to get Froyo Kangerade 5.0.9 (PinkLife) running on my wifes newly rooted phone for about 3 hours now. I am getting major issues with this ROM. Random reboots, no wifi connection, etc. I have tried different kernels. I have wiped, wiped, wiped, and reflashed and have gotten no luck. Not really a feasible ROM for my wife. She really wants something girly (pink) and really liked the look of the Kangerade one but I just can't figure it out. So I am needing to move on to something else. Maybe CM or BB but I want to see if anyone knows of a good theme that I could use.

I am currently running UD8 with the Watermarked theme on top. I like the theme, but want to go back to the stock UD8, because I like LauncherPro and LP and Watermarked don't exactly match in design. Can I just re-install UD8 on top of what I already have without clearing data/cache, or should I do a complete data/cache wipe before re-installing UD8? Or is there another way to remove a theme that I don't know about?

You know where to find it. It was previously "coming soon", and just got put up about an hour ago from what I gather. Just loaded it and smooth, but receiving a call will be the key. If it passes this test, it's all good. Thought I would offer the heads up since he didn't advertise the update, it was just snuck in there.
