All i want is a pure glass theme, no smoke, nada. a little notification line, thats all . I want the full effect of the wallpapers that I put on my Droid. Is that so much to ask? If I could do it, I would.

I was one of the first in Nashville to receive my phone after preordering at bestbuy. Got it Friday morning and spent all day Friday and most of Saturday playing around with it. Saturday night i was fiddling with the front facing camera to see what sort of photos it took, and i hit the shutter button and then it happened!
Literally - a flash of smoke and a spark with this unforgettable sound of cracking glass. Some sort of short has caused my main speaker (the earpiece) to completely fail, the front facing camera no longer works, and there is a diagonal crack from the Sprint logo at the top right down about 1/3 of the way down the screen on the left side.
Called Best Buy, and they're going to replace it, as soon as they get more in. Oh well. Everything else works, so i'll be using a lot of speakerphone until the replacements arrive.
I got petes newest rom installed but im really missing the smoked glass theme is there anyway to get it back if so how?

Just loaded it and smooth, but receiving a call will be the key. If it passes this test, it's all good. Thought I would offer the heads up since he didn't advertise the update, it was just snuck in there.

It looks very nice, but since we only have the option for 3 colors (startColor, centerColor, endColor) it looks very round. I would like to do a glass effect, which requires a sharp change in color in the middle. Basically I need 4 colors (startColor, justabovecenterColor, justbelowcenterColor, endColor). Now I could have two shapes sitting on top of each other to get this effect, but I don't want to do this. I'm getting into some tricky UI customization here and that would be very difficult to manage on different sized screens.

No matter how much I use my phone. Like I guess I am looking for an "hour-glass" effect here, it should slowly drain until it's empty. I have never seen my battery icon look 3/4 of the way full, it just skips right over that look on my phone.

Is there a complete iPhone theme for the Droid? I love my Droid (it truly is the better phone), i just also like the simplicity of the iPhone...and I would like to be able to show my iPhone loving friends that their phone isnt that special cause my phone can do what they are stuck with Metamorph maybe?
(before you comment, remember i like the droid more. The iphone is very overrated.So no need to flame)

Well I would like to try a custom rom now. I'm loving the 928 blackglass theme w/ stock rom. but the REVOlution theme looks nice. I want to go w/ a basic clean looking theme or maybe a rom. But do i have to change the rom can I run stock? I'm deodexed with 928 so do I put another theme on this one or do I need to clear data/wipe first?

I've searched everywhere and can't find any info on the droid 2's screen material. I know the X and original droid have gorilla glass and was hoping the 2 would as well especially since I just bought one. View 5 Replies View RelatedI've rooted my phone. I've installed SP Recovery and performed a nandroid backup. I'm trying to install Smoked Glass 6.0.1 by placing the file on the root of my sd card and not inside any folder. I boot into SP Recovery and select install and select the file "Smoked.Glass.v.6.0.1-ESE53.rom". Whatever takes place after that while it is installing, is beyond me. I don't receive any type of customization options such as blue theme or no blue theme. It supposedly finishes installing so I reboot the phone and nothing has changed at all, I'm still running whatever I was currently running prior to the install. Any suggestions?
