View 4 RepliesYesterday I rooted my phone and flashed BB 0.7.5 and I've had my phone completely freeze up, can't receive calls, buttons wont respond and I have to pull my battery to reboot the phone. I'm not sure what exactly is causing it, and it has only happened twice so far (both today). I wanted to ask if anyone else has had this happen. I have a nandroid backup of right before I flashed the ROM, should I roll back and try again or use a different ROM?

View 12 Replies View RelatedI was suprised this hasn't been posted yet. Pete is pretty excited about it. Fastest yet by a good degree.
I'm installing right now..
looking to possibly root and install BB 1.1. but I was wondering if BB retains the display an such found when I plug it into the Motorola Multimedia Dock.
I am probably going to leave it at 550MHz to start with too.
I would like the added features of the BB, but wanted to be sure the Multimedia dock and even Car dock (got the Motorola bundle) work well with BB 1.1
New release from Pete. No info at all, but what the hell. I'm going to give it a shot and see what happens. Charging my phone now (was almost dead, and don't want to update with a close to discharged battery). This is "Beta", so we will see what happens.
View 41 Replies View Relatedso I took the plunge, because of the soon-coming upgrade that might wipe out root function for a while.I rooted, set up recovery, made a nandroid and then installed bugless beast 0.7.5 and then bought setcpu and temp monitor and root explorer. It may just be me but not only do I see no real improvement (set my profiles in setcpu) but I actually see it hang up from time to time. After a phone call the screen will go black for 1 or 2 seconds and then the call log screen will appear. Hardly 800mhz style if I'm reading everyone's experiences correctly.Should I do a complete nandroid style recovery? Will this be a better install than just using the update.zip?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to root my MotoDroid to run V0.3 Foyo Bugless Beast. I know you shouldn't root your phone if you don't think you can so you don't brick it.

View 6 Replies View RelatedJust need a definitive answer. Does this work together and if so could ANYONE point in the right direction? Thanks. Currently on 7.4 if that matters.

Just doesn't seem to be faster.
Bugless Beast boot animation in the style of carlz28!
Installation instructions: (copied from cole20444, I was too lazy to type it out myself)
Using Root Explorer:
Mount your droid to your PC and place the bootanimation.zip file at the root of your sdcard. Then using Root Explorer navigate to your sdcard, long press on the bootanimation.zip file until a popup menu appears. Select "Move" or "Copy". Once you select one, "Paste" and "Cancel" buttons will appear near the bottom of your screen. Now, press the back button to move to the root of your file system. Then navigate to data/local/ and then press "Paste". You'll be prompted to overwrite the existing bootanimation.zip. Press "OK". Then reboot.
Using ADB:
Download the zip file and place it in the tools directory of the Android SDK. Mount your droid. Then using a command prompt on your PC "cd" to the Android/tools directory and type the command: adb push bootanimation.zip /data/local Hit enter, and once this command is done processing type reboot and hit enter.
I searched first but couldn't find any basic help on ROM Manager in one place.
I rooted my Droid using SPRecovery and all seems ok with that. Used Droid-life.com video tutorial. Now looking to install Bugless Beast 1.0. The Droid-Life.com tutorial I watched uses ROM Manager Premium, so I bought and installed it. It doesn't seem to work correctly or there is a user error.
The only thing lit and available in ROM Manager Premium is the RECOVERY section (Flash ClockworkMod Recovery and Reboot to Recovery). All the other sections, like ROM Management, are unavailable.
I tried to Flash ClockworkMod Recovery but I received "An error occurred while flashing your recovery" Any tips on where I need to go? Should I just do an SPRecovery installation of BB1.0 and forget about ROM Manager? I am a total newbie. Is there a How To on ROM Manager out there?
I went to the latest update which has night mode and pinch zoom on the maps (2.1 ported, woot) - and my Trapster won't work.I know that there may be issues with other programs using GMaps, is anyone else with this version having map problems with any other program and 7.4? I like the pinch and I love the night mode, but I am back to 7.2 now.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI recently installed Bugless Beast v1.1 @ 1Ghz. I've noticed that the memory available has dropped down to the 60's and 70's when I wipe everything. Bugless Beast is fine, whether I have 40 memory or 60. On Stock 2.1, it would go up to 130 Max. So what's up? Why is my available memory so low?
View 4 Replies View RelatedThose who have tried both (2.1 roms) can you comment on the differences? I've always run Pete's (using his new 2.1 ERE25 now) but my buddy recently went over to SS and says his battery life is A LOT better.
I haven't heard much discussion on the major differences in these two Roms (besides the authors).
Any comments would be welcomed.
is there anyway to get petes bugless beast without Rom Manager premium? I cant spend money on it. Id like to try something other than droidmod or cyanogen mod. Ty in advance

I would like the 2.0 slider on Bugless Beast, but can't find the instructions for it. I know they have the link on the Bugless Beast alldroid thread, but I dont know what to do with "-Patcher 2.0 Lock Screen with Vibrate Tweak". Should I run the file "update.zip" as reboot recovery over the rom?
I know bugless beast is kind of outdated but could some one please give me a download link for v0.4 for the evo.
View 2 Replies View RelatedOk so I rooted my phone and installed SuperUser and Titanium Backup (paid version). My main reason was to free up some space.I clear the cache almost daily, am using just a few apps and have deleted anything that would actually make the phone any fun (like cool widgets or useful yet non-basic apps. I have no games on it. I have googled "how to move apps to SD with Titanium Backup" dozens of times in the past month and read that it's under "batch options" a thousand times. However, for the life of me I can NOT see an option under the 4th section "Move/Integrate" for anything remotely related to MOVING APPS TO SD. The only thing it shows on that category is "Integrate updates of system apps into ROM".
I have a huge external SD plugged in where ALL my pictures, screenshots, downloads, music and videos are stored. The external SD is not even half full. Yet, my 4.44GB internal memory is filled nearly to capacity with only 274MB free.
I constantly get the STORAGE SPACE RUNNING LOW message and my available space is invariably under 380MB.
WHAT CAN I DO??? I'm about to give up on Android alltogether.
I'm running Jelly Bean 4.1.2 and the main apps I'm using which I think take up the most space are GMail, Whatsapp, Google Maps, Androind Weather and Camera360.
With 2.2 installed, I am wondering which types of apps I should be moving to the SD card. All that will move? Just data hogs? Is there any performance difference coming off the SD card as opposed to internal memory?
View 4 Replies View RelatedA coworker in the office has a Droid 1 and his google apps (we just switched to the standard edition for work) calendar syncs.
When I add my google apps I don't even have Calendar as an option. Is this missing from the Droid X or is it a 2.1 thing?
Is there an app for rooted users to accomplish this, outside of custom roms? I'm using simply stunning.. If there is an app, is there a way to move all stored apps to the SD card?
View 4 Replies View RelatedJust curious, I ordered a new Droid X and it will be here in couple of days and I wanted to know if I can either uninstall my paid apps from my original Droid and then install them onto my Droid X or is there a way to move them over to my new X. I only have a few paid apps. Documents to Go Pro, Weather Bug Elite, Remote VNC Pro, but didn't want to have to pay for them again, if they can be moved over.
