General :: Xposed Framework Not Updated After Reboot

Mar 21, 2014

I just got my first smartphone and rooted it yesterday, so I'm new to this stuff (but in general am good w/ tech). It's a Moto X non-dev verizon, and running 4.4.

Xposed Framework (installed 2.4.1) won't stay up to date after a hard reboot (app_process is a red dash) and thus my modules don't work at bootup. There actually was an issue when I first installed Xposed: after installing and then updating and rebooting, it wouldn't say it was up to date until I did a soft reboot. Now after a hard reboot, I have to reupdate xposed and then soft reboot for modules to work.

I've tried reinstalling Xposed, no go. SuperSU seems to work fine with my other apps too.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Timescape Email Not Syncing - Updated After Reboot

Apr 25, 2010

Has anyone experienced Timescape emails not syncing? My facebook and twitter feeds update properly, but the emails don't update unless I reboot. The emails will initially update after reboot, but won't update again until the next reboot. I've gone into "Email" and set my "Email check frequency" to every 5 minutes, but this does not seem to have any effect on Timescape.

Motorola Droid :: Updated 2.0.1

Dec 10, 2009

I noticed this after I updated to 2.0.1. My keyboard backlight now either says on in low light conditions even if you don't press a key until the screen times out or stays off in bright light conditions even if you press a buttion on the keyboard itself it does not come on.

This plus lock screen 5 sec. time out equals uber battery saving mode!1!11!

Motorola Droid :: Updated To 2.1 - 2D Applications

Apr 3, 2010

This was in the Android Forum News, but I wanted to link it here. For those who have received the OTA and/or forced the update, apparently, the update has caused the DROID to experience performance problems, particularly in the area of 2D apps. What used to return 60fps is now being halved (30fps). Here is the link to the article: Droid 2.1 Update Causing Performance Problems? | Android Phone Fans.

Motorola Droid X :: Warning For Ppl Updated To OTA 2.2

Sep 22, 2010

Do not try to SBF back to 2.1 if you did the OTA 2.2 update. It will brick your phone completely. New bootloader version is 30.03. I tried to SBF back to 2.1 after doing to OTA 2.2 update and you cant. RSD finishes the SBF, but when the phone is suppose to reboot it wont. Instead you get an error "Err:A5,70,70,00,1F" on the bootloader. Won't let you boot to recovery or nothing. Just boots to bootloader. So Im bricked till theres a fix..

Motorola Droid 2 :: Motorola S305 Headset Causing Reboot

Aug 23, 2010

I have the Motorola Droid 2 and Motorola S305 headset. I have paired them together, no problem; however, my phone keeps rebooting when I turn my headset off then back on, and sometimes they don't work when I am making a call. I really like these headphones (plus I'm really cheap ) and don't want to have to get another set.

Motorola Droid X :: Freeze Up And Reboot Itself

Jul 20, 2010

I just set my phone down on my desk only to have that evil red eye staring back at me. Phone rebooted itself somehow. I most certainly did not slam it down or anything.....just set it there gently like always. Also, I noticed that when my X is on the charger, every now and then it will freeze up and reboot itself.

Motorola Droid X :: Quick Reboot App

Oct 9, 2010

I know there's an app out there that can do a quicker-than-usual reboot kind of like what HTC implemented with their new Sense UI. Does someone remember the name of that app? I can't seem to find it. Engadget tested it a while ago with the Droid X but I can't find that article either.

Motorola Droid :: Reboot Into Recovery

Aug 20, 2010

I rooted awhile back and have been enjoying it quite a bit. I do seem to have one issue that I haven't been able to find an answer to anywhere. (it's not stopping me from doing anything, just annoying)

When I use a tool such as rom manager and reboot into recovery my sdcard can never mount (or isn't mounted) and after a dozen or so attempts the phone reboots (which I then press X on the keyboard to get back into recovery - clockworkmod). So if I go into the partitions menu option and then mount the sdcard, I can then do zip installs from the card.

But nothing I've tried will allow me to reboot into recovery from an application in the phone since apparently my sd card isn't mounted or can't be mounted without manual intervention.

Do you think there might be an issue with my sdcard? I'm pretty sure that I used to be able to do this, but recently it stopped working.

Motorola Droid :: GPS Won't Sync Until Reboot?

May 17, 2010

A few days ago, as I left our house, I set my Droid to navigate to my destination and handed it back to one of my children; they enjoy seeing the GPS in action.

Oddly, for ten minutes the GPS failed to sync. I forget the exact message from the Google Navigation app, but it was something like, "Looking for location". The map didn't update with our position. We weren't in a hurry, so I stopped and fired up the "GPS Status" app; it showed a few satellites but no fix for a couple minutes.

I finally powered the Droid off and restarted it. After that seemed to get a fix instantly - certainly no more than a second or two.

Update:
Found another that won't start... "Profiles (cupcake)". I'm wondering if this app is somehow causing issues now after rebooting the phone. It didn't have these issues before the reboot. But, now market and profiles aren't working. Could be related...
