Does anyone know any settings to change the flash while taking a picture? I don't understand it. Sometimes the flash makes pictures look beautiful, but most of the time, they come out washed out. I don't understand there has to be some sort of setting somewhere. I haven't found it yet.

I have read all of the out-of-the-box rave reviews of the camera quality. I am not having the same experience. It seems that most of my photos are way too vivid, pixelated, and washed out looking. I have researched all of the forums I know of. I have tried reducing MP, ISO, brightness, etc. I just can't seem to find a good balance. I love photography, but am less than an amateur when it comes to camera technology. I am the point and shoot, and pray it comes out looking good kinda guy with my other cameras. How to get better image results?

Well I managed to get my hands on an X from my local VZW store this morning. First impression of the screen is that it is very washed out when compared to my old Droid. Side by side, the original Droid shows colors very vividly while the Droid X almost looks like it just made it past black and white. Just wanted to get some opinions on the screen from others. I also managed to play with a Samsung Vibrant at a T-mobile store and it was very beautiful, almost makes me want to return the X and wait for the fascinate to come out on VZW.

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe dual LED flash on the EVO works well in moderately lit situations but when shooting in the dark the flash makes images extremely bright and washed out. I was messing around with the camera settings and was able to produce decent results by changing ISO, brightness, etc. but that's a pain. Instead, tape a small strip of plain white paper over the LED flash. It diffuses the flash and makes a huge difference.

Flash Mode says auto under it, but the box is grayed out and I cannot select it to change it.
This is the same for the auto focus feature, I am unable to select that as well.
I'm really struggling with the camera on the x10. I was expecting going from tocca ultra to SE, (both 8.1) to be quite similar in quality, but this ain't the case. Picture is half the size of the screen and pics during night are awful!! Cant even seem to find the flash.

Does anyone know if there is an Icon of the Incredible? I would like to replace the old telephone receiver icon on the dock with an Icon of the Incredible. If not could someone make me one from a picture or explain how to reduce the pic to a sice for the Icon? Currently I downloaded the Windows 7 icon pack from the market and i'm using the default cell phone icon which looks like an old canybar Nokia.

View 3 Replies View RelatedHaven't downloaded a different camera app or anything, but when taking about every third or fourth photo my screen freezes up. And I mean over 20 seconds of wait time. The photo is there, but the phone isn't doing anything. I pressed menu, back, etc, and no response. Finally after pressing the top unlock button the phone wakes back up and loses the picture. My SD card is a class 6 - so shouldn't be having problems writing to it, correct?

View 10 Replies View RelatedOk so I have fallen in love with this phone, coming from a blackberry, but have a HUGE problem..I can recieve picture messaging fine, BUT when I send to anyone who owns an iPHONE, and yes, it's the versions that are capable, they do not recieve it....I was able to send picture messages fine from my blackberry to ALL carriers, including iphones...what makes it worse is that I NEVER get an error message. Everything seems to go through so I never know they never recieved it until I follow up..

Before Froyo, I was able to attach a picture to a text and if I left the message area blank, it would not convert it into a slideshow. I am not able to do that anymore. The only way I can reply with a picture message, is getting out of the messenger, opening up my album then finding the pic and sending it out that way. Is there a better way to do this?

When I created these links, the profile picture (in the phone) changed to their facebook photo. I knew how to change it back to the photo in Google, and did so for each contact. However, every time my facebook friends post anything, the profile picture in my phone changes back to the facebook photo. Is there any way to stop this annoying behavior?
