my phone has following problem
1.wrong boot or flash update in my phone
2.display like Scattered screen
3.not detect via usb to my pc
4.not going in debugging or boot mode with up+home+power and down+home+power

so this may be a dumb question, but how do i update the boot loader or recovery. I'm using clockwork, and m assuming there's probably been an update for it. ive read about amon ra or something? sorry if I'm incorrect. I am just not sure if my phone is wiping dalvik correctly.

I can only get this message when plugged into the wall charger. If i plug into USB to PC i get just a green light where the power light is any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I have a A10 Chinese Tablet with no brand (called DesireTab) and no official firmware, I have try to install cwm with no success and after my tablet no more boot in android but only boot in cwm ... I have try to install ROM from other tablet but the only want to boot is one from LY-F918 ... with no touchscreen and wrong colors (I post a photo of the boot), after I mod a ROM from Cherry Mobility M906(??) And touchscreen and all other hardware works but not the colors ..
P.s. I have open the tablet and disconnected lcd flat And reconnected ... with no luck !
I wanted to put a newer Android into Samsung Mini s5570 so what I did:
1) rooted the device so I could see SuperUser application on it
2) shutdown my phone
3) using Odin I wanted to put new loader to this device so I have pointed OPS file and recovery image for s5570
4) checked OnePackage option
5) turned on phone using 3 buttons (Power, LVolume, Main button) so it switched into Downloading mode
6) Odin detected phone
6) pressed START button
after that it gave some logs and then it freezed on:
<1> recovery.img download..
time keeps going but nothing happens.... once I have even waited for an hour with no success
what I can do to make this phone running again?
I installed wrong firmware on my Samsung Galaxy GT-B5510 aka Samsung Galaxy TXT and i only get white screen now i cant get in recovery mode or download mode.
View 1 Replies View Relatedi think i deleted the wrong files and now my phone won't go back the "HTC ONE" screen. I've done the process of a recovery and then allow the red triangle to come up, from there i know i should hold power + Up, and that should take me to a black screen with blue letters, and i should select something about "partition" but this black and blue screen, i remember seeing it as a thumbnail in a folder i deleted. I thought it was an ad photo saved onto my phone as spam (as the folder was named adSOMETHING) and so i deleted it and now, i feel i have have screwed myself over. I have no way of getting another phone right now. How can i get my laptop to read my phones connection and allow me to copy and paste the files needed to get it running again?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just root'et my magic (not for the first time) and everything went according to plan, i uploaded the update-zip file to my sd card, and went in to the update menu (or what its called) and pressed apply update, and after the phone was updated, i pressed reboot. And here starts the trouble: the phone just locks at the HTC Magic screen, its keeps showing that screen for a very long time, and nothing else happens, so i need some help to "wake up" my phone again.I cant find my phone in SDK when i use the "adb devices" command.If i try and use the [Home+Power on] command, i get a screen with a phone and a triangular sign with a "!" above the phone. Can anyone help me? what should i do?

After 2.1 upgrade it imported all my facebook buddies, and because I call everyone by nicknames it has duplicated a lot of entries. I've tried "joining" the duplicates together to get just the one entry per person, but it seems to randomly choose whether they are stored under their facebook name or the nickname I have for them. I've tried entering what I want them to be called in the 'nickname' bit under the contact 'edit' screen, but again it seems to be random as to whether it then uses this name to display them in my contact list.

View 11 Replies View RelatedSince I installed (might just be a coincidence but I did update Maps via the market) 2.1, Google Maps takes so long to update when showing directions. For example I'll be in one street and have walked to another and it will still show me in the previous street after 30 seconds or so later. Also I noticed today when using it, that the arrow wouldn't move and just stays in one spot but the arrow does change direction though.
I could have sworn it wasn't like this before and I could just use it like a real gps unless I've overlooked something.
Also I get the "Current location temporarily unavailable" message all the time when searching my location unless I tick the Use Wireless Networks in the Location settings of the Hero. When I had 1.5, I didn't need to do this and just used GPS satellites.
What am I doing wrong here?
I apologize profusely for this, but I cannot seem to find it through search. I am looking for the download for the official 2.1 so that I can overwrite my v3 leak. Can anyone point me to the thread with the download?

The idea is to surround a png image with a 1-pixel border where you can define the stretchable areas and the padding dimensions of the image. This is absolutely brilliant and I'd like to use the idea in my iPhone app. Before writing my own nine-patch to UIImage loader I thought I'd see if one already exists. Google doesn't return any results so I don't have much hope, but it doesn't hurt to ask, right?

Appear on left, move in the right direction and disappear on the right side than appear on the left again immediately and process start again. This is not filling bar which fill the space from left to right."

Problem it is stuck on the bootloader. So my question is do you guys think I screwed up whatever part of the phone that stores the ROM, does it need more dry time (this only happened about 4 hours ago), or should I just try reinstalling my ROMS off my SD card without waiting any longer? I'm planning on giving it another cycle of heat/dry time then reflashing everything but don't really want to go through all the hassle.

I bought a HTC One X today and downloaded the system update. It has been in the update screen for like 40 minutes (with the green refresh icon above the phone on a black background). What's going on? Should I be worried? I've tried holding down the power button which turns it off but when I turn it back on it just goes to the system update screen again.
My device is a local re-branded and enhanced Xolo a500s/it's like a karbon a5 a think. After successfully updated my device via OTA and after my device rebooted. My screen started to flicker randomly. My phone is not rooted and im still using the official stock rom. I found a temporarily solution by doing a Factory Reset, the flickering would be gone but it will come back after my phone screen goes off and on.
I suspect that the new lockscreen bloatware system app that comes with the update causes this, I can't disable it(googled already, and the only way to freeze/remove it is to root.) I can't root my device for something like a hunch. I'm waiting for a software update that would fix my device's touchscreen collide bug.

boot into recovery - wipe cache
white screen with htc logo, learn that I need latest firmware (3.3.2) for rom to work
copy pg58img.zip to sd card, do not modify file- boot into recovery, phone says parsing pg58img.zip - then nothing, no prompts or continue
boot phone - WHITE SCREEN WITH HTC LOGO
What does it mean when you install a new rom and the colours are wrong? Every thing is a messed up blueish green colour. Is it the kernel?
