I have spend months figuring this out combining roms and scripts but same result with playing games.
So I had to RSLITE back to stock 4.1.2 i believe and now im able to play any games i want on stock rom.

General :: Delete One Event On Calendar In Recurring Series?
Jul 10, 2012I just bought a new phone and have started using the stock Android calendar. I put in my work schedule as a recurring series...M,W,Th,F at the same time every week. I am taking a Friday off in a few weeks, so I went to delete that event only and there is NO option to delete just that day. My options are "This & future events" or "All events". I also tried Jorte calendar app at the recommendation of a Verizon employee and it is doing the same thing. There has to be a setting or something I am missing. I should not have to re-input all my data every time I take a day off. My old phone gave me the option to delete "This event only".

So I searched and tried deleting cache, deleting data for Play Storeand rebooting the phone. But those haven't worked for me.

I root my phone with Eroot (link -URL....). After that I installed root checker pro and it said your phone has been rooted successfully. Then I installed X-Parts to install CWM, but I failed to open the recovery mode. Yes I already tried pressing few times that volume down or back button. My android version 4.0.4 (4.1.B.0.587).

May 1, 2013I was trying to root the phone and get a Custom ROM installed. As I was reading through several forums, I found few rooting softwares and steps. I did all those, but seemed like the phone was not getting rooted. Then I read that I need to have an Unlocked Bootloader. I went to the Sony Site and got the Unlocking code. But what I did was I unlocked it after I had tried the other steps of rooting. It doesn't seem to have any recovery stuff installed as I am not able to boot in recovery. When it starts, the SONY display will come and a blank screen then again the same stuff repeats as if it is trying to start but cannot find an OS to boot into.
I know that I should have done the Unlocking first and then the root installation and stuff, but now I want to know if I can get an OS installed in this. Now I am not able to install the stock ROM using Sony Update Service as it shows the message: "The Phone contains modified software that cannot be updated".

I have tried turning the phone off/on. I have tried installing/ updating apps repeatedly. No change. I'll be happy if I can find a solution without rooting my phone.

Mar 18, 2013I have been trying to find for a few weeks an app to fit my specific need. I am looking for an app to solelydisplay my windows desktop's video output on my Android handset.
I have tried VNC VPN remote desktops and they are way too slow (about 5 fps on my Xperia Play)
I don't want entertainment folder streaming, as I want to display pc games and video, just so long as I can see the entire screen scaled to fit device resolution, 1366 x 768 -> 854 x 480.
I have tried VNC like TeamViewer and IDisplay and they are too slow on the fps, even on lower resolution.
I don't want a remote desktop, interactivity slowing it down, just a duplicate video output of the desktop. No audio.
The idea is to Keep my laptop lid closed, but still be able to view the desktop, while using the mouse regularly.
WiFi or USB is fine. If my Xperia Play can stream Youtube over WiFi clearly this is doable?

General :: Xperia Play - Internal Storage Always Running Out Of Space
May 3, 2012I have an Xperia Play.
However, I am always running out of space on my internal storage...but I don't know why.
I am rooted with with both Titanium & App2SD installed.
I have very few apps installed and nearly all of them have been moved to my SD card. Yet I only have around 40mb free on my internal storage (from a total of 400mb).
I cannot figure out what is using all of my internal space. I have looked in Titanium at apps using my interal storage and it does not even come close to the 350mb it says I am using.
What could be using all this space and is there any way to find out for sure?

im eager to install custom roms on it , but problem is that i loose warranty if i unlock my bootloader and im a moderate/heavy user on the phone .
So my question is , should i go for it and unlock the bootloader ? because im still stuck with ICS while cyangenmod has Jelly bean for my phone ..

Aug 11, 2010today for the first time /ever/ my device rebooted itself while it was sitting on the table next to me. I have had a rooted phone since before i even walked out of the T-Mobile store with it and it has never misbehaved or done anything strange. Now, however, i noticed what can only be described as a small series of chevrons or arrows that were blinking on the lower middle of the screen. Jan 31, 2013I've been having problems with my Xperia Play. Any app involving the internet would force close after being on it for a certain amount of time, which was no big deal, I would just restart my phone. But then it started happening more frequently, and it would force close sooner, sometimes even force closing as soon as I entered the app. Then this morning, I found that my WiFi was off (which was weird because i don't turn off WiFi at home). I went into my settings to turn it back on, locked my phone, and went to do something else. When I went to check Facebook, I saw that the WiFi wasn't on. So again, I went into settings, but instead of just pushing "Turn on Wi-Fi", I went into "Wi-Fi Settings". I saw that I had lost all my saved WiFi networks (including my house), and it wasn't picking any up, even though I know that there are multiple in my area. I tried re-entering my home WiFi settings, but that still didn't work. I did a few more times, then when it still failed, I restarted my phone and tried again. Still nothing. Then I went out, and was still unable to pick up any WiFi, and any internet based apps still weren't working, even with 3G on.

Aug 26, 2013i recently flashed custom roms in my arc s and returned to stock because of the features, when i installed ics 4.0.4 the battery meter is stuck in 100% and the mobile would switch of all of a sudden saying battery is emply i tried deleting battery stats, formatted everything except sd card still no use it is still stuck.. i flashed gingerbread and the battery meter worked fine i was showing the correct percentage, once after i flashed gingerbread charged the battery to 60% and flashed gingerbread it was showing the right percentage... i know the sensor is fine coz its working in gb.. i tried battery calibration and different battery status apps all show 100%. ics once the batterys drained it doesnt charge properly..
