I have put any files OUT KITCHEN into the rom.zip and install this rom with recovery.
then my phone while rebooting has appeared an error "process system is not responding,force close or wait"
My phone couldn't display to main screen. I also not be installed RUU ( relocked bootloader),always error...

I did the manual update and now when it boots up I do not get any network connection. When I go to the network connections it says that I am connected to the verizon network. But it will not show the bars or the 3G it just shows an x I am new to android. I used to update my Blackberry all the time I never had these issues. How do I get it back to 2.1 if I cannot get this fixed.
Also I went into my SD & Phone Storage Folder. And none of my SD or Phone Storage is available as if they r not even there. Now I am getting a window that pops up saying: Sorry System is not Responding force close/wait
I believe I accidentally (as a dumb noob) deleted the TelephonyProvider.apk and the Sprint_Promotion.apk apps. I got them on my SD card and have been trying unsuccessfully to reinstall them all night on package installer but I keep getting this wonderful "process com.android.phone" force close message. I managed to get my phone into airplane mode thinking if I disconnected it from the internet I could stop the error messages and do the installs off my SD card but to no avail. I'm trying to do it through Package Installer.

I seem to remember it wanted to update about a week ago, so I hit ok and then the update failed. It has not asked to try and update again since then....
The phone will display this message upon start up and also will occur at other seemingly random times.
The phone works fine after pressing force close but does anyone know how to stop this annoyance?
Anyone else having issues with the phone and a system error message with something about com.htc.provider and it only gives you the option of a "force close" button. Sometimes that is all that happens and once you hit the force close the message goes away, at least for a while. Other times when this happens it deletes all of your text strings. I have 2 lines and 2 droids, both were having the same issue, did the factory resets, went to the store with both and finally gave in and took 2 refurbished phones to try and fix issue, both refurbished phones started doing the same thing immediately. I am in process of arguing with verizon about not wanting another eris to replace these.

How can I avoid this issue that is happening at all time, When this happens, unless I tap on Wait button, I can't able to proceed.
I keep getting com.htc.bg and the force close button or wait. Wait does nothing. It happens when I go to sync and I know it has to be face book because I've updated my profile pic on my pc but it shows my old one when I text.
I've changed the spare parts thing to normal and not aggressive. Is the only other option turning off face book sync? If so, seriously why did I buy a 'smart' phone? Or should I just wipe and reflash and see what happens?
Well my text messages have added up to like about 6500 the thing is that I can't delete these messages on stock app and handcent phone just freezes after a while it gives you the option to force close or wait?
View 4 Replies View RelatedNever had time to really get to understand my branded HTC Desire, bought in Hong Kong but serial numbered for Spain. The first time I connected to wifi I got advised an update was available and tried to get it (Android 2.2). It didn't load properly. I got a "process system is not responding" message, no wifi, no phone and constant rebooting every 5 minutes. Have contacted HTC, removed SIM and SD, done soft and hard resets, all to no avail. From forums like this I know this isn't rare. HTC Spain suggest I send the phone to them, but as I'm in Australia, I'm a little fearful of expense. Is there anything else I can do? Is putting the update on a SD card likely to work when the phone has such limited functionality at present? If I do send it to HTC or otherwise fix it, should I avoid installing updates in future?

View 6 Replies View Relatedalright, just installed 2.2, but my incredible has rebooted 5 times already after the initial install. it's currently rebooting, showing the lock screen, then when i pull it down i get the white htc screen with the pop up and some sort of % (i imagine some sort of setup process) it's already told me the first time "congratulations, you've been updated to build x.x.x.xxx" it also tells me "sorry! process System is not responding" now that just sounds like crap. it just rebooted the 6th time... note that i installed 2.2 manually.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have rooted my phone, tried to partition sd card although not to sure that it took since I could not get a reading on my computer, flashed xtra rom 3.0.3, was running Launcher pro and all was hunky dory although I could not get any find any of my apps. I ran a restore from My Back up and restored my apps which in turn also restored Launcher pro (again).I am now stuck in a force close loop of Launcher pro after rebooting. I have done a hot battery pull and still am stuck.

I've tried totally uninstalling/reinstalling it, clearing data/cache/dalvik to no avail, any pointers? or is this simply how it is now?

View 2 Replies View RelatedOn XXIFF firmware after I turned on 3G I got the error "The process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.". When I updated to XXII5 I can turn on 3G, but GPRS is dead, both on 2G and 3G (the same error occurs). Internet access point is disabled in Quick Settings, when i turn it on the error occurs. On XXIFF I could turn on GPRS on 2G and it worked, however on that firmware the phone sometimes turned itself off and couldn't be turned on without removing the battery first.

After updating I've been getting quite a few process.android.acore force close messages. This error message was coming up during anything and everything I was doing. So I've done a factory reset, but after that, I'm still getting the messages. Maybe not so frequently but still getting them.

Please try again". It then closes the Gmail app.I have tried to the factory reset option and clearing the gmail app cache but this does not rectify this error. Short of sending the phone back to Vodafone or HTC I am stuck.

View 32 Replies View RelatedFor the very first time, and I have like anyone who purchased its EVO on June 4th until July 3rd to return/exchange EVO for a new one.
This is what is happening. I love my EVO, and I will never return this phone for another phone (non-Evo). I already paid my 1st bill with Sprint anyway.
For the past 3-4 days I have been getting some "force close" messages because EVO gets "stuck" in trying to open something/app/do something.
When I play "Jewellust Xmas", the volume goes out. It does this about 7 times of 10 times I might play game.
Now, it may be the game itself, but my girlfriend has the exact game on her HTC Incredible and it has never happened with her. That makes me believe it's my EVO.
I try to open some apps, do something, and the EVO doesn't respond and gets stuck and I am getting those "force close" message.
Does anyone else have had same experience?
Sometimes I have to remove battery because EVO won't do anything. It just get stuck.
I just turned ON EVO and I saw the "light leakage" people are talking about. I can live with that. That doesn't bother me.
I have hardware 002, and I am thinking about exchanging for another one, and hopefully they have hardware 003, and people are going crazy here saying it is different than 002 (battery, leakage, etc)
The only bad thing is that I just put the Steinheil screen protector yesterday, and thankfully you get two when you order them. So one will go to waste if I return this one.
How is that possible? I thought you had until July 5th to get those pre-order ones.

I've managed to show existing user in a textview. But it can only show one at a time so I decided to use listview.

I own a samsung moment which was rooted about a month+ ago. I started receiving an error message randomly today from HelixLauncher: The application HelixLauncher (process com.helixproject.launcher) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. It prompts me to force close then I receive the same error message yet again. I cannot access anything on my phone as this error message renders anything on the phone almost completely inaccessible. I don't understand why I've randomly gotten stuck with this error message. I'm guessing my only option is a hard reset/safemode reboot and eventually re-root; this application seems to fuel a large part of the current 'root' I am running.
