View 1 Replies View RelatedI was installing some custom ROMs on my brothers OT-955. Everything worked fine, I got CWM on there and installed a ROM called PAC [URL] ......
It worked pretty well, but the phone froze a couple of times a day so I decided to try some others yesterday. When I installed a CM-based ROM, I got a 'status 7' error in CWM and after I rebooted the phone was stuck in a boot loop.
After a while, it showed up when I ran `fastboot devices` and I was able to get it into recovery and install a different ROM. When that ROM had some trouble I ran into the same 'status 7' error with another one.
I miss-clicked and rebooted instead of installing a working ROM. Once again, I was able to reboot to recovery using fastboot and everything worked out.
Fast forward 30 minutes, the last ROM had some trouble too and I decided to move back to stock. CWM reported that stock was installed successfully so I rebooted.
Since then, the phone won't move past the boot screen. Fastboot doesn't recognize it, `adb` used to recognize it as offline until I replugged it.
I already:Reinstalled the device driver
Cycled the power (empty, full)
Tried a different host machine
What to try next.
Firstt do a FULL FORMAT of the phone with the scatter file provided here. then flash the files ONE BY ONE.
1. Just filash preloader.img * remove battery and usb cable
2. Flash DSP_BL * remove battery and usb cable
3. Flash pro_info * remove battery and usb cable
4. Flash UBOOT.img * remove battery and usb cable
Once this is done, my phone could not boot. does not display.
I just deleted some font with Root Explorer to directory of root>system>fonts> and reboot. When rebooted, my phone got stack to Alcatel logo. I tried Factory Reset but same thing happened. What should I do? My phone is rooted using Framaroot. When charger is plugged it is charging and also the notification light says its charging. I tried the One Touch Upgrade tool of Alcatel but it still does not work.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI unlocked my bootloader a month before and I didn't know how to relock it back so I searched and found this website >>androidgadgematic I followed everything it mentioned and after finished installation, I hold on the boot button, the green light indicator blinked once and vibrated once but after that gave no respond. I didn't unroot my phone before doing the relock procedure. Now, I really don't know what to do because I searched google but none. I indeed need a step by step procedure to save my phone. How to boot my phone now, or else it is dead. I don't have if any method to reinstall ALL system files, no matter kernel, firmwares via my pc as long as it can helo my phone to boot up.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Moto Droid 1 rooted from spf recovery via .zip. I then used Rom Manager to install Clockworkmod Recovery and flash Cyanogenmod 6.0 (Froyo). It worked absolutely fine for about a month. Then last night, I found my phone upstairs on AC, and it was on the bootloader menu. I restarted it and found it would only boot into the bootloader. I booted into recovery and tried to reboot from there. This worked but when my phone booted into Cyanogenmod, it had no signal at all. After resetting it a few times, I tried doing a factory reset. The problem persisted. I tried wiping the cache partition. Still won't connect. I rerooted. Still won't connect. I did what I thought was flashing my ROM again, but it didn't seem to work (I'm not sure how I could tell). When I try to restore Nanroid, it says "no files found"
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have got a Samsung galaxy Y with Android 2.3.6 gingerbread, Google maps is 6.4. I did pre-cached a few maps but when I disconnect the wifi after sometime the cached maps are erased.
In cache setting , current cache is shown as 0 B, while I have got 2 precached map areas.
My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Exhibit II. I was just flashing a custom rom in my phone. What I did wrong was that instead of just erasing cache, data, etc.I erased the whole rom I had pre-installed. So I flashed the custom rom, but it would just boot loop. So I thought because I had erased the original rom, the root was disabled. So I tried to restore my phone with the stock rom, but it only erased cwm recovery and I cant access my phone other than the stock recovery mode. I cant even access the sd card with the stock recovery. I can only access the usb storage.

View 1 Replies View RelatedHow to root the newest Alcatel OT-6010 with Android 4.1.2?
I've already tried Adb root and and Root_with_restore without success.
Wifi won't turn on. I get a few seconds of "Turning on..." and always ends with "Error".
INFO:
Alcatel OT-908 (T-Mobile Move)
SIM locked on T-Mobile network
Firmware version: 2.2.2[code]....
I TRIED SO FAR:
1) rebooting
2) live battery pull
3) factory reset
4) *#*#526#*#* (nothing happens)
5) freeing ram and internal memory
6) entering static ip settings
7) changing wpa_supplicant
Nothing worked. I'm still getting Error on turning on.
I looked at [*#*#4636#*#* > Wifi information > Wifi Status ] and it says "Supplicant state: UNINITIALIZED". Could it be that it's something wrong with this wpa_supplicant thing?
I've recently rooted my Alcatel One touch t'pop otherwise known as 4010A with Ishauji Root tool and it worked but i was not pleased with the result my phone started moving like my old Toshiba laptop with windows xp "very slow" so i searched for an unroot tool for days; i couldn't find any and to make matters worst the root tool was Japanese or Chinese i think, doesn't matter i couldn't really understand it, the superuser was also in that language; so i did some more research and found this:
Universal unroot
copy and paste downloadlink:
[URL]...
Now let me make myself clear i used this and it said it would reboot my phone when finished, it took long so i rebooted manually "not saying thats what you should do" but when the phone turned on all was normal and it was successfully unrooted "yay!!!"
It worked for me hope it works for you, just download it, if you use computer to download then just put it on sd card and install to phone and press unroot and in a matter of time your unrooted hope it works for you. I do not know the risks of it failing but it worked on first try.
I recently bought an Alcatel Ot-990 which is Android 2.2.2 Froyo
but unfortunately it has a software problem...so i want it to update the firmware to the next version of 2.3 Gingerbread or to re install the same version contained it...!
