I was looking for a picture app for my Moto Droid similar to the Sense one which allows you to display a large picture on a screen (to take up the whole screen). The stock picture frame app only allows you to display a small picture (4 on the screen).

I thought evernote could do it but i can't seem to find the option. Looking for something that can take a picture and then format it to a text file, maybe even take a pic of a business card and save it as text as well.
View 3 Replies View RelatedHere is what i have and here is what i would like: Ok I have a rooted 2.1 with 2.15 radio, as well as ROM manager Pro I would like to go to this 2.2 Rom , aiccucs_2.2_lite_v.4.2.zip, Is there a way to do a Rom update and keep all the apps, picture contacts, and I love the Trackball + menu to unlock my phone. Is this a pipeDream? I have done the nandroid backup but when i restore it is right where i was prior to Rom. I also have s- Off as well.

I have linked all my contacts with their facebook accounts but it still shows the default white picture. I dont want to have to go through and take pictures of all my contacts. that would just be silly.Apologies if this has been asked before or is a simple fix. I'm new to this smart phone malarchy

View 19 Replies View RelatedI use the backgrounds app, and it lets me save backgrounds to my SD card. I go into Astro/ sdcard/ backgrounds and then click on the picture. It gives me 2 options to open it. "ASTRO Image Viewer" and "View picture". For me to use it as a background I have to pull it up in "View picture", BUT....no matter how many times I try and pull it up that way, it shows me the first picture in my camera album. If I click "ASTRO Image Viewer", I can always see the picture I selected, but under menu, I only have the option to "share" and nothing else. Can you tell me why the selected picture won't show up in "View picture"?

Mine is only about 1 inch by 1/2 inch.I can barely even get 1/2 a face in the picture.How do you get a bigger picture?I'm running LauncherPro, is that effecting it?Since I couldn't get a bigger picture, I decided to try and add the slide show widget. But when I try, it says Widget Conflict only one photo slideshow per home screen. I don't have any other slideshow widgets on my screen. Any ideas?

For instance when I move my phone around it will take picture in background and only display user the taken picture properties (brightness, RGB ratio in the image etc). On my wife's Droid X with the case on it's difficult for her to take pics with the camera button. Is there an app that JUST adds screen tap to take a picture? I know Vignette adds this as do a couple others I think but I am not looking for a whole camera app.

unfortunately, it's always return me the null cursor. finally, i found HTC hero never generate picture thumbnail under "sdcardDCIM.thumbnails", but only create a picture under this folder: "sdcardDCIM100MEDIA", which means i can only get the full size picture. What's am i supposed to do? create a thumbnail by myself?

I take a lot of pictures for different reasons and I want to be able to group them in different files/albums so I don't have to scroll through 400 pics to find the one I'm looking for. Kinda like the idea of "My Documents" on a home computer. Create different folders and save pictures into those folders. Is there something like this already? Is someone working on developing this?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am hoping that there is something predictable i'm doing wrong, but i seem to have more "info" on picture then on the preview.I have an app basically based on the CameraPreview code. (1.5!) When I take a picture, the resulting image has more content then i saw on the preview. To clarify: Say i'm looking at something with lines, and while looking at the preview i see line 4 to 10. After taking the picture it suddenly is clear i've shot lines 5 to 11. I'm trying to sync something I draw ontop of the view (a line-drawing) with what i'm photographing, and I can't get it to match like this. The newest example has some extra code involving "getSupportedPreviewSizes". I can't use this because of the API version: I'm coding for min. 3, and that one is from 5.
