View 2 Replies View RelatedFor example, Gensoid Lite, a Sega Genesis emulator, allows you to create homescreen shortcuts to launch specific ROMs inside the app. Are there any internet radio apps that have this same functionality? I'd like to create some icons to access my favorite stations right from the homescreen instead of opening the app and going through there. I've tried XiiaLive, Cherry rPlayer, Google Listen, and TuneIn Radio and none of those have this functionality.

View 3 Replies View RelatedBeen on the look out for a decent 3D RPG for my Desire.I've seen Crusades of Destiny, but I'm not keen on the graphics. I read a post somewhere in these forums from the developer of Ravensword for iPhone, and he said he was looking at converting it to droid.Till then are there ANY decent RPG's out there. Fantasy ones, preferably in 3D. Or can someone recomend any decent PSX ones that I can use with PSX4Droid? Been playing Diablo for a bit, and its not bad.I'm thinking of a droid equivalent to Oblivion, Fallout 3, or Dragon Age. Yes I know it's impossible to port these monsters to the droid before someone comes out with a sarcastic reply. However surely the early Elder Scroll games are low enough quality to be ported. Maybe even Morrowind.

View 10 Replies View RelatedSeriously, emulation is not good for performance, but most roms running on gensoid look and play better that games developed for Android. Sonic 3 looks lovely, runs at 60fps and never stutters. It even seems to look higher rez than most Android apps.Android platformer games are nowhere near as good looking or smooth.So what the hell is going on? The hardware on top end Android phones (Desire, galaxy etc) is clearly capable.

Question: why does the android platform not have games that are as good??
I remember seeing one games, I think it was called scooter - the whole damn screen moved as u mived the iphone left and right I only played for a minute - but it looked damn awesome why dont we have as good games! the persons phone: heck, it was only an iphone 3g - so u cant say it was better hardware or anything angry birds - I like - apart from that, I haven't seen any games I would even rate (ok, so angry birds is just worms game reinvented - but the subtle use of great graphics make it brilliant)
Important: I have an x10 mini pro which is STILL running android 1.6 - is this the reason why? are there better games on 2.1 and 2.2? or is it to do with the fact that there are better developers for the iphone?
Are there any multiplayer interactive games where someone with an Android phone can play with someone who has an iPhone? I'm looking for something like Words With Friends where two people who have iPhones can play scrabble together.

I'm looking for something like it (Scrabble), but also anything else that's fun and you can play with your friends (poker, shooting, conquering, puzzles, etc). Preferably something where they can make a move, I receive a notification, and respond back at my convenience and vice versa, not where we both have to "be online at the same time". Oh, and free.

I tried searching appbrain, but I had a hard time finding any good ones. My GF has a scrabble-like game on her iPhone that sets her up with random players and its pretty fun. Anything of the sort ?
