Nov 14, 2009After trying a few of the clip on cases, I hated how they ALL affected the smoothness on the slide out keyboard. If you look closely to whats happening, they force the sliding motion to happen at an awkward angle which causes resistance and I am sure is not good over time. Anyway, after no real satisfaction, I am just going to stick with the verizon screen protector and naked everywhere else.

There is one function getDrawingCache() which does that, but it only save picture what is available on the screen. It does not capture beyond screen if the picture is big.

Mar 5, 2009I'm having trouble getting a screenshot. I installed the SDk, Eclipse, the drivers, enable usb debugging, like the instructions say. I open DDMS and it recognizes my phone without any problems. When I try to do a screen capture, it says screen not available. In the command box it says "timeout" and "truncated reply from ADB fb data". Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?My phone isn't rooted and is running RC33. I'm running windows vista on my computer.

This framerate is completely insufficient for my purposes since the application has smooth animations that i would like to show. Download the JDK and install that.
After you're done installing that, go to Android SDK | Android Developers
and download the SDK for whatever Platform you have and Install that.
