Dec 1, 2009When I watch a video using Bluetooth The lip sync is always off a bit. It seems ok when not using BT, was wondering if anyone else has noticed this. I use a Jabra BT530. I have not tried using a reg set of head phones but BT is off by just a bit.

Dec 9, 2009Question. Is it possible to watch digital copies of movies that we purchase on the hero? If so what app do we need? I have tried multiple things and it hasnt worked for me yet. Because of the DRM I cant change the file type from wmv to mp4 or any other type. Any suggestions?

Jun 17, 2010I have .avi movie files on my PC. I want to put them onto my desire and watch them. I don't know how to do this from start to finish, can some please explain each step and where to put the files on the phone memory, as I dont see a movie folder?
I also don't see an option in menu section for video or movie? With my samsung it was easy, as the PC studio software left you drag and drop movies in, it converted them, and then went straight into the phones movie folder. Desire seems very different?

Jan 11, 2010I've been unable to actually sync my HERO to my computer I've got the HTC Sync software installed, and when I plug in the usb cable from the computer, to the phone. The only selection that comes up is to mount/unmount the SD Card. Not to sync.

Aug 2, 2010I recently lost the charger and cable that came with the phone, and bought another one, but the actual connector is slightly different. When I plug my phone into my computer, I don't get anything, either on the phone or on the computer, except that the phone does start charging. I get no "start USB service" or whatever option in the phone and the phone does not show up as a drive. Nothing, nada, zilch, zero. I'm guessing it's the cable, but I'd like to confirm before going out and buying another cable.

I know its "slower charge" because the computer also allows data transfer and mounting of the sd card, but maybe theres a possible way to shut that off? Sprint Hero :: HTC Sync - Phone Can't Find It On Computer / Solution For This?
Dec 20, 2009Is anyone having issues with HTC Sync and the phone not being able to find it on the computer? I've used it before, but today it doesn't want to find it on my computer. I uninstalled sync from the computer, and reinstalled it, even tried a hard reset on my phone, still no go.
Any ideas? Or am I just an idiot and doing something wrong?
Sprint HTC Hero :: Error Occurred On Computer Running Exchange Server
Oct 15, 2009I am having the following issue with Exchange. When I setup the phone initially, I was able to synch my email, contacts, and calendar just fine. However, I started noticing that my emails had a delayed vs my computer. My Hero was syncing only every 5 minutes or so (I do have selected the option to get emails as they arrive). Eventually, I went to settings, data synchronization, exchange activesync, and there is an error message that says 'Error occurred on the computer running the exchange server'.
It also seems that it hasn't synced the contacts and calendar in a while, apparently it stops after failing to sync email. The funny thing is that I am actually do getting new emails just not as they arrive, but as I said before, every 5 mins or so. Another thing is that If I click on Synch now. I do not get that error message and it syncs mail, contacts and calendar just fine, but again when it tries to do it on its own, the error message comes up again.
