Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: No Option To Delete ALL From In Box And Empty Trash Bin
Apr 17, 2010
I have set up my work emails to come thru my X10, (pop3 account) it works fine but I JUST CANNOT SEE how to delete the emails other than one by one, there is no option to delete ALL from the in box and no option to empty trash bin!!! surely this isnt right.
I use my laptop for most email matters. I use the phone to get emails when laptop not available. The phone is set to leave all messages on the server. I delete all emails from the phone. All deleted emails go to Trash. How do I empty Trash without deleting individual emails?
While transferring songs onto the SD card, there were M3U playlist files in those folders. After deleting them off the card, they still appear in Mediascape. Doing a long press on the playlist only brings up the slide with the album art (like on timescape), and no option to delete.
Is there a way to retrieve stuff you sent to the trash? I deleted the large Sony Ericsson box/logo thing that was in the middle of the main screen when I got phone. I'm not totally sure why, but I want it back. I dragged and deleted it by mistake trying to drag from one page to the other. Can I get it back?
I am very disappointed with all my inbox messages deleted & moved to trash! ,, & am shocked to have not found a reasonable justification to this, whether on Google Support Forum or here on Android's.Ever since I used the E-mail application on my Android [v 1.6] Sony Ericsson - Xperia - X10 phone, all my Email messages moved to trash & God only knows if something is forever gone.It even changed the filters & their settings. The problem is common among other users but the causes are different. Why would IMAP do this? why isn't anyone justifying this?I demand an 'undo' for all this & a justification. In God's name, I am not going to fix this manually, am I? If so, this is an incredible huge waste.
I just bought the Sony Ericsson Xperia x10 Mini Pro. I have a problem with the memory stick. It says it's connected and everything, but it also says it's empty. Main point being; I can't get the memory stick to work. I use the default memory stick (2GB), the one that came with the phone.
Is there a way to leave the Assited GPS option always checked or be able to access it from quick settings option? It appears the option gets unchecked when I turn my GPS off and doesn't come back when I turn GPS back on.
I recently decided on a AT&T Xperia X10a and also own a Droid 1 with Verizon. So naturally I tried to install my apps from my Titanium Backup since my move has left me with no 3g coverage. I have searched the web to enable "unknown sources" on the X10 and they say it is possible but for the life of me I can't find it.
After updating my phone to version 1.1.A.0.13, i came up with 2 issues:
1) The facebook refresh button, along with the facebook option were gone from timescape app!. I mean that in options, only twitter would appear for account adding!. Yet my older facebook feeds still appear, but as i said no refresh button is available now, so that i could get new ones!
2) Almost none call metering app works anymore! I used to use Call meter NG, but after updating it says that some error happened and it turns up with questionmarks instead of numbers were the call & sms counters were. And no other relative apps seems to work also.
will the Xperia X10 mini ever delete sms messages by itself (automatically), like when there's is no space left for new incoming sms messages? If that should be the case, how can I prevent specific sms messages from being automatically deleted? If it's not the case, what happens when there is no space left for a new incoming sms message and a new message arrives?
The phone came with few pre installed programmes that I would like to get rid off cause I wont be using them. Its mainly games I am talking about. I tried to go to programmes and see if I could un install them but thats not possible? Any ideas? Or am I stuck with those programmes?
