I want to install notes mobile client on my x10 mini and use my official mailing system. Does it support. Can any one confirm weather X10 mini supports the lotus notes exchange? The one like it support on Nokia E series phones.
I have purchased a couple of games from the android market, says purchase complete but then wont install, also when I turn phone on keep getting a message about sony application user support has stopped and it needs to be forced close?
I have an Xperia X10 Mini Pro on the 02 network and when i'm searching for an update it says my phone has the latest software available does 02 not support updates for this phone or something? Am I stuck with this old software?
Please is it possible for me to browse the internet on my pc using my sonyericsson xperia x10 mini pro. Dont know how cause the phone doesnt support Pc suite, only Pc companion, and hence I dont know how else to do it.
Have owned an xperia mini pro for about 2 weeks now. It has a problem that every few days or so the screen locks up and becomes unresponsive and the only way to reset it is to do a battery pull. My question basically is should I take it back to the shop, or is it likely to need to have android reinstalled or something?
It did this on the very first startup after unboxing, it froze up when choosing the language setting, so obviously it is unrelated to any other apps i have installed. At the time I didnt think it was too much of a problem but then as I say, it started doing it every few days.
I am planning to buy a 32 gb micro sdhc card for my Xperia X10.However, I have found tons of confusing and conflicting information here on SE forums and all over the net.To my surprise, even Sony Ericsson itself giving conflicting information regarding this.On the product page of Xperia X10 (click this link and click on the specifications), it says that Xperia X10 supports microSD up to 16GB only.Whereas the official Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 White paper (on page no.5) says that it supports -microSD, up to 32 GB. (The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 White paper can be downloaded from this link). Now i urge someone, preferably an SE moderator or staff, to enlighten on this matter and answer how and why SE is giving contradictory and confusing statements regarding the sd card capability and compatibility for the same product?.
I am not able to copy the photos from mobile to my computer.I have tried reinstalling the PC Companion suite and also have updated to mobile to Android version 2.0.The folder where the photos reside in the mobile is not coming up in the Phone Card Memory,Can any one helpe to sort out this issue? Or Is there ant seetings option which I am overlooking?
I have just purchased an X10 mini pro, however there is no applications bar in the bottom of the screen. The following instructions therefore do not make sense:You can personalise the home screen by adding application shortcuts: 1) from the home screen, tap the applications bar2) press menu bar and tap add3) in the Add to home screen menu, select the item you want to add How do I add app shortcuts to the desktop? Where is the applications bar? I also cant find mediascape, where is this?
I have tried the app funninly enough called Photo Zoom but the quality is terrible and does not support the remaining features of the in current software such as taking photos in low light etc. Also can anyone tell me if the update will perhaps increase the ammount of bluetooth headsets that r compatible with the mini pro. I have 2 very good headsets at the moment from previous phones but unfortuneately my mini pro cannot find them.
I have a mini pro...i had issues earlier as i didnt have an active data connection on my mini pro..but nw as i have it...not one inbuilt app is working! Facebook, gmail, gtalk, android market, youtube etc. dont work at all..Each of them gives an error that you dont have an active connection! All of the above does open via the normal browser on mini pro..but not through these builtin apps!
I planned to but it tomorrow. My prime use is in business, earlier one was E63, lost.Mini Pro is a great one: Qwerty, android, Camera, small (Well, I dont know many cons...may be powerless battery may be one)Now can I download MS Office to this one?I need to 'import' MS Word template pages (Quotation forms to be filled appropriately to each customer to send Quotes in business). And also keep accounts details with many customers, to be updated frequently. Is this kind of 'laptop' jobs possible in it?I know a E63 or E72 or BB is most suitable. But I love it's above addl. qualities.
Everyone probably has the exact same Build Number, but than again, maybe a couple don't. So after a search, I was not able to find a thread like this, so here it is. I just received my X10 yesterday and per Sony Support, my X10 has the current OS. So here is my info:
My initial doubts about the x10 were over its specs, such as no multitouch and an apparently slow sticky interface
Now they are more about Sony Ericsson and how well they will support the phone with software updates etc. Several bad indications: - Complaints have been made in the past about SE sucking at this for other phones - Phone was due out Jan 18. Arrived more than 2 months later - Phone came out with an old o/s (1.6) while other phones came out with 2.1 at the same time. - SE have said they wont provide an update until the end of the year!! incredibly slow. By then android 2.8 will be out. pathetic
I want to get a well supported phone that is going to improve and evolve.
Reading the new hands on over at Tech Radar has got me pretty excited about the X10 - seems a remarkable beast. But they seem to suggest a lack of widget support on the device - leaving me in a quandery, I love the widget support of the HTC Hero (and its successors), but am truly tempted by the X10s larger screen, its Racheal/Time/Mediascape UI and camera technology. So far, has anyone noticed support for widgets on the device? Obviously certain widgets are redundant with Time/Mediascape, but news, weather widgets are a big draw for me.
