Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Unable To Download Settings For Internet And MMS
When I go to "settings > basic settings > settings download > O2 Pay & Go" to download my settings for Internet and MMS the 3G icon does not appear in the task bar and then says "Could not download settings, retry?"When I connect to my router I can go on websites and stuff fine, I want to be able to use the internet when I'm on the move also.

Anyone who has the x10 mini could they please tell me what exactly I should be inputting for the correct settings? I have the info off the three.co.uk page & I know where they should be entered on the phone but the info isn't exactly the same (the phone has "proxy" "port" "MMS proxy" "MMS port" which two out of these four should I enter the details from three's website I have tried umpteen times to get it right.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Partially Unable To Connect To Internet
I own an xperia x10. I can access the net on my phone through GPRS only on the default browser & Skyfire. But i can't connect on any other app. tried it on google goggles, shazam, timescape, Facebook app, Tweetdeck, etc. but i couldn't connect, EVER. So has anyone else faced this prob? or any idea why is it happening. or is it that these apps work only on 3G networks?

I have X10 recently i got gprs activated but i am not able to access any internet icon like gmail , gtalk or facebook. for everything i have to go in browser menu.i have a vodafone connection & customer care people says we are nt responsible for other icons as service is working through browser. y is it so? & secondly i have R1FA016 , is the new update available? because whenever i connect pc companion shows your software is up-to date & like it is mentioned it will be notified in the notification section nothing has been notified yet but everywhere i can read the new software is out.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Unable To Download Or Upgrade Apps From Android Market
Over the last few weeks I tried to download or upgrade apps but it always fails. I always get the message: "Download was unsuccessful please try again". When I go to the android market and look at the help front page there is a link called "Download Issues Troubleshooting page". The fix described in here does not work for my phone.How do I make my phone work properly again.Also, I am on Android 1.6 but I cannot upgrade to 2.2. The PC Companion says that I have an up to date phone.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: How To Get SMS Settings Back?
Can anyone tell me how to get my SMS settings back to UK. I have been onto Locale/Text but nothing is happening! I have English letters but have Korean symbols to change text to numbers etc. and lost the bar above the letters giving me word suggestions etc. I have switched off, removed battery and sim but still reverts back. Have TP Korean Keyboard icon but cannot remove or manage application.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Want To Have Your Brightness Settings?
So after turning off "adjust automatically" about a week ago in the display settings I have noticed a huge battery improvement. My question is what is your brightness set at? 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, full? Just trying to see where most people are with there settings and how the battery has been with it. Right now I'm around 1/4 but wondering if anyone set on about 1/2 or more has noticed battery drainage. Also, will the 2.1 update fix the battery problem?

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Won't Connect To The Internet?
I ahve checked the signal strength and its fine and 3G is working but still not connection. I had a software update come through recently which told me I needed to go to the Sony Ericsson website to update it.. I tried to do this and it appears I can only update it using a PC as its not compatiable with a Mac computer (which I have). I have tried running the software update on the phone and as it can't connect to the internet it wint update anything.. so Im stuck in a circle now.

Cant send mms or go on the interent on xperia x10 white been a problem since i rebooted the fone and now cant use mms or interent does anyone know how i can sort it or know away of fixing it, it says the application messaging(process com.android.mms) has stopped unexpectedly please try again or says currently cant connect or curently cant download please try later and i dont know what to do anymore also iv spoken to my network and they done everythink they can now they think its the fone.

I got the X10 2 or 3 weeks ago, previous phone was a Samsung Jet. I watch quite a few films but so far I can't get the quality. The files are mainly divx encoded but I have been converting to mpeg4 to play them in Mediascape. The video is skipping / jumping even though it is not at a super-high resolution, bitrate etc. Does anyone know what the best settings are to get video that's watchable? The Jet would play divx files no problem at all and I assumed the X10 would be at least as good...

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini/pro :: MMS Configuration Settings
I just love my X10 mini but have problems with mms, if I send it just goes to queue and get message "unable to send" and if someone send me one I just get an empty message and it says to download, and then if I try to download it says "cannot be downloaded". When I go to settings - settings download - choose Tmobile it just says could not download settings. Retry? I've called already to Tmobile support and spent 2 hours with them and they just couldn't help me as they don't know this phone.

I enabled APN in the settings. But, I want to be able to enable/disable my APN so I can be sure that I'm not getting charged for using the Internet when I'm not. On the top of my screen I see an E with 2 arrows, one pointing up and one pointing down, when I turn my WiFi on this disappears and is replaced by a WiFi icon, and I don't get charged for browsing. But I want to be able to turn APN on and off, I can't uncheck the option for APN which I chose, and the application I downloaded does not work. The icon remains there when I'm not connected to a router even if APN is disabled.

i don't incur the Debt of a Small country!! Can you offer advice on the best settings/ Option to use to kill all Data! Even if the browser is accidently pressed by your kids wanting to play Angry Birds!! Is it simply to kill the roaming? Or the Data traffic option? Or would you call the carrier to be doubly sure?Still want to be able to use the Wi-Fi as it's free in the Lobby!! Just checked the prices with Orange for Mexico and soaked my monitor with Tea on the prices quoted!8 per Mg of data!!! Pants down prices!!
