Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Unable To Download Settings For Internet And MMS

When I go to "settings > basic settings > settings download > O2 Pay & Go" to download my settings for Internet and MMS the 3G icon does not appear in the task bar and then says "Could not download settings, retry?"When I connect to my router I can go on websites and stuff fine, I want to be able to use the internet when I'm on the move also.
Anyone who has the x10 mini could they please tell me what exactly I should be inputting for the correct settings? I have the info off the three.co.uk page & I know where they should be entered on the phone but the info isn't exactly the same (the phone has "proxy" "port" "MMS proxy" "MMS port" which two out of these four should I enter the details from three's website I have tried umpteen times to get it right.
My handset wont download the internet settings, this is despite me having the phone for 4 months.I have had it on the internet but when i factory reset i lost all my settings. Now i cant download the settings so is there any way i can download them through my PC or off the Sony website and if so how?
I own an xperia x10. I can access the net on my phone through GPRS only on the default browser & Skyfire. But i can't connect on any other app. tried it on google goggles, shazam, timescape, Facebook app, Tweetdeck, etc. but i couldn't connect, EVER. So has anyone else faced this prob? or any idea why is it happening. or is it that these apps work only on 3G networks?
I have X10 recently i got gprs activated but i am not able to access any internet icon like gmail , gtalk or facebook. for everything i have to go in browser menu.i have a vodafone connection & customer care people says we are nt responsible for other icons as service is working through browser. y is it so? & secondly i have R1FA016 , is the new update available? because whenever i connect pc companion shows your software is up-to date & like it is mentioned it will be notified in the notification section nothing has been notified yet but everywhere i can read the new software is out.
Just got an Xperia Mini X10 but cant get the internet/facebook/bluetooth to work. Have tried downloading settings for the phone but no luck. How come the the phones apps don't work? Where can i download them?
There i use Handcent as my main messaging service however i have the same poblem with the normal messaging service. if someone sends me a picture through text i cannot open it. It also takes about two days from a picture message to be sent
Since last night (let's say about 36 hours) I haven't been able to download/update anything from the android market. Is just a problem with me or is the market down at the moment. Most frustrating. I really want to get a bookmark organiser.
Ive tried over 20 times to do it Ive even tried another comp. Ive used pc companion also software updater both fail they freeze my comp when i try to update can i get the software update either on a disc or downloaded instead of Internet.
I bought xperia x10 last week and since then i've been trying to download some apps and/or games but i never sucseeded. i connected with usb on the pc, i downloaded the sony ericson pc companion i tried to install appbrain on the phone i selected sync on te settings.... But i never managed to sync the phone with the pc so i can install directly from the internet or to download some apps.
I've just downloaded the latest update to my phone and I'm now unable to download any apps. I can select the app to download but when i select it the phone says 'starting download' and doesn't actually download anything.
I want to install some applications from the Android market, but every time my X10 mini says the download/installation failed. I tought this was related to a glitch in the software so I wanted to restore the settings by means of the PC Companion, however this also crashes and only returns the sony ericson support email ...
Over the last few weeks I tried to download or upgrade apps but it always fails. I always get the message: "Download was unsuccessful please try again". When I go to the android market and look at the help front page there is a link called "Download Issues Troubleshooting page". The fix described in here does not work for my phone.How do I make my phone work properly again.Also, I am on Android 1.6 but I cannot upgrade to 2.2. The PC Companion says that I have an up to date phone.
I am unable to download and update free apps from the Android Market on my Xperia X10 since the last 15-20 days. Can anyone help me with this problem? I am facing a lot of issues due to non-availability of many already installed apps and also I am unable to download and use new apps.
I have had mini pro for about a week now and have NEVER been able to download anything from the android market. It just hangs at the "starting download" phase and never changes. Any ideas in simple terms as how to resolve this.
