After about a week of arguing with vodafone uk who told me everything from
remove the app - not possible you would need root/superuser access to do this invalidating warranty and potentially bricking the phone
its sonys fault ring them - what lies this is! i rang sony they said the same as i thought, not there software (360) not there problem and can not solve even if they wanted too. re install firmware - nope
format device NOPE again but lost all txts apps phone numbers not on sim etc
Need new sim as the one i had was old - got new sim solved nothing and they tried to charge me £15 for the new one GGGRRRRRRRRR
and finally device is faulty will replace the handset - which today reading this forum page
i discovered that the 360 app is NOT even compatable with the X10!! the why the F**K is it on my god **** phone then!!! in place of sonys functioning playnow service! i encourage all vodafone uk customers who see this to share their displeasure on this matter at the above thread.. this is surly a breach in trading standards and has angered me deeply
This whole branding thing has to stop.. or they should at the very least have to change the outer casing so we know it has been F****ed around with by muppets who know not what they are doing with such a high tech piece of gadgetry. Vodafone you are about to get an ear full and lose a Very Long term customer
Hi everyone. I am a Vodafone UK customer. I have the Xperia 10. I was told by Sony Eriksson that the upgrade for the newsystem is already available in UK but now is up to Vodafone to decide when they will release it. Vodafone told me that they have to make some adaptationsbefore releasing it but they don't have a date yet. Can anyone clarify this for me please?
I got the X10 mini pro today & so far so good however.The phone is a vodafone handset that has been unlocked. I have a 3 sim card in it that works but i can't access Planet 3 anymore. if i start the web application it will connect to vodafone & vodafone only. Is there any way i can access planet 3 again? Is there a setting i must change?

I'm able to access internet through my browser, but when connecting through GTALK, GMAIL, Android Market even Opera Mini 5 it says no connection Available. I had similar problem on my previous phone SEW995 which i resolved it setting the Proxy Server as HTTP (by default its Multiple).
Is there any way i can do the same on the android?
I'm getting pretty crazy. The phone is completely unlocked i can access all menus with no problem but as soon as i make a call it says "Call ended" and messages remain unsent with a red exclamation mark. No messages or calls can be received either. I've tried 2 different sim cards with different providers and on both cases the signal is full but the same problem persists.
I cannot download anything from the market, its so frustrating. I've tried everything on old posts about mother people that have had this problem, but nothing works. There are no market updates to uninstall, i've cleared cache, force stop, restarted, etc. But nothings working
I am currently encountering problem with my market. whenever i try to download or update applications in my phone, the same error messages will pop out, " Download error: download was unsuccessful, please try again." This problem has been persisting for a week now, i cant download or update any app.
I'm on 2.1 nordic on vodaphone uk. 3G was working fine using switch pro to turn it on and off, then I turn it on to download a MMS which it failed and now it won't turn on again! I've put it on airplane mode and changed between network modes that used to enable me to turn it on again in 1.6 but it won't do anything now. I tried turning on and off the arrows show for about 30 seconds then it stops. I had similar problems with 1.6 and that was the vodaphone 1.6 official version. Why is the X10 so crap with 3G?
I've tried numerous switchers on 1.6 and they all ended up stopping working after a while but I could always get it working again now it just failed. Is there anything I should be doing to get MMS to work properly and how do I get 3G back? Any settings I need to put into the APN settings even though it seems everything is filled in automatically by selecting vodaphone as my network. Is it a Android flaw in general or just the X10? I would be totally happy with this phone apart from this which I keep thinking has gone away then starts up again!
All of a sudden apps stopped being able to be downloaded or updated from the market place. They just stay on the 'starting download...' status which is rather irritating. I've tried clearing cache and resetting the market and know i've a master reset as a last chance option but has anyone any ideas before I do this?
Just few days back I downloaded and installed few apps from Market. But now, I can browse the apps in Market, but everytime downloading fails (for any and every app).I am using wi-fi for this. Internet works fine. I can download files (images) from my email without any problem.I did not make any changes as far as I know.
