When i make a phone call i should have the option to press digits (1-9, *,#) - However, i can't since they are not responding - maybe they are locked or something...!

So, when someone calls me it rings your cell phone , when to call can not hear anything, just do not hear the message , or when play music , and when I put the headphones , then everything is normal I hear, what to do , I made a reset and again is not good

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have just received my second Galaxy handset as replacement from O2 after returning the first with what appeared to be some sort of hardware fault that caused calls to be rejected before pickup quite often just at the moment of touching the phone! I was quite happy with O2 and the way they dealt with the situation and couldn't wait for the new unit but sadly it has arrived with the very same issues as the last one and O2 are again confident that its a hardware fault and now want me to choose some other phone!

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just got my samsung galaxy (and love it), but when i make/receive calls, i can barely hear the person on the other end. i have my call volume set to the highest (5), but it's still just too difficult to hear. has anyone else had a problem like this, or does it sound like a defect? maybe there's an app that can fix this? i bought my phone on ebay, so i have two more days to report any issues defects with my phone to be able to return it.
View 7 Replies View RelatedMy phone started exhibiting some strange behavior today regarding sound and mic - neither are working (most of the time). If I am receiving a call, the phone will sound the ring, but when I answer it the speaker and mic go dead. If I hit the volume button while the phone is ringing, the speaker also goes dead. When I try to play music, no sound is produced (although if I plug in headphones I find that it is playing). The problem persists after multiple reboots and the Samsung "song" does play during boot. I'm not sure exactly when this started as it was working fine yesterday.

I didn't notice this before, but today while actually using this thing as a phone, the sound of the person at the other end would completely cut off if I said anything. It was exactly like using a speakerphone or a walkie talkie. Is this a bug with Galaxo or has my Galaxy always done this and I have failed to notice ?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI installed Fring on my Galaxy and it did some strange tricks , now my phone is in a state in wich it is completely muted ( no sounds, cannot call and cannot hear) and have to use a headset to use it.
I'm sure it is Fring, because as soon I make a fring call test it works again and I can make and receive calls without headset ( no alerts nor loudspeaker though)
I will have to reset it to factory settings, but I have a series of doubts:
- Contacts: I have contacts from my sim card, some I added and some that come from Facebook/Gmail, now, I checked on the contacts and everything is there, which, I suppose, means that first time I rtestart a sync they'll be back, right?
- Internal data: Photos and MP3 are safe in the SD card, what else do I have to backup?
- Market apps: The market profile will allow me to redownload the apps that I had on the phone or is the profile locally stored? if so, were so that I can Backup it?
- A special issue: here in Belgium we do not have the paying market yet so we can only download the free apps. When i was in Italy I used an italian SIM card and bought a couple of apps.
I suppose there is no way i an get them back is there?
Till yesterday my phone was working well. But today i am not able hear any calls. I am receiving calls but not able to hear & same thing in other side. Even i am not able to hear the ringtone while dialing. Is there any problem with mike or settings. Also speaker in menu is not working while call.Had I uninstalled some root file. My firmware version is XXJB2.

View 7 Replies View Relatedfirst of all let me just say that beta2 is superb i just have one problem with it whenever i'm in a call (reciving or dialing) the screen goes blank and i cant wake up the phone not the end call button and not the open (side) button the only ways i can wake it up is by getting another call or rebooting
any way to work around it? i have tryed several screen on pogs from the market but no luck there without it i would use it everyday, its much much better then galaxo.
Does anyone know how to save your call and text history so that you can reload it after a factory reset. I find it very useful to be able to look back over my text history. Sadly I lose this when I update my phone and do a factory reset.

Hitting "Menu" during a call severs the call (is it supposed to do this?).
There is a grid icon on the bottm of the screen which I thought was the one I wanted.
I've been listening music on my Samsung i7500 Galaxy with headset plugged to the device. After listening I've plugged headset out and now while I call to somebody I see there is a call on the device screen, but either me, either person whom I am calling to, doesn't hear the other person. While I plug headset again I can hear everything (on the headset), after another plug out problem still exist.

Whilst on a call i would like to be able to select contacts and send that contact as a DTMF tone. View 2 Replies View RelatedI use Google Voice (love it) primarily because of it's visual voicemail on my Droid. I do have a Google Voice number, and I'm trying to decide whether to set the Droid app to "make calls using Google Voice" or not.
I have no problem with giving out a different number, and my placed calls seeing the GV number in caller ID.
My question is, does this affect how the call is actually connected, from a quality standpoint? I tired a call both ways, and the sound quality seemed a little bit different. But then, I am an obsessive compulsive weirdo.
Is there any difference in call quality or routing between making a native Verizon call and a Google Voice call on Droid? (Like, does Google voice actual use 3G to connect to Google server over the internetz, then place the phone call?)
Often during my calls I can hear a call waiting tone (double beep) but when I look at the screen there is no parallell call? Am I hearing the other persons call waiting or is it a glitch in my phone? I had this issue on every ROM, 2.1, 2.2 and live in Sweden (if it makes a difference)

I have not had the phone long enough to have much call waiting experiences but the times I did, I noticed I had to press menu and then go thru a menu to "click over" to the other call. This is g=fine and dandy from the comfort of your couch but is not advisable if you are driving a car. Is there a one button shortcut to go to the other call without having to look at a menu?

View 2 Replies View RelatedShort version: Is there a way to prevent the phone from locking while on an active call? Former iPhone user here. With the iphone, there was a sensor that detected when your face was near the phone, so the screen was blank and disabled but the phone was not locked. When you pull your face away, the screen is active again.
On the Evo, it seems it has a similar sensor. However, after a minute it'll actually lock the phone for me while on an active call. So in order to hang up, I have to fumble with the phone to press the top button, then fumble some more to press end. Is there a way to prevent the phone from locking while on an active call, yet allow it to disable the screen when it detects it's being held up to the face?
It seems like my Samsung Behold2 the call drop ratios is extremely high, call drops out of no where and sometimes I have seen full bars on phone but still calls get dropped. Another issue that while on the call the other parties voice will stop coming, the phone will be running and shows the call timer on as well, cannot end the call if this happens, the dialers just seems like hanged. only thing to come out from this issue is either take the battery out or somehow manage it to go in airplane mode.

I don't remember where but I remember that if you were to put in comma's , it would be a pause so I am trying to dial a number such as "tel:555555,0,2,3" which should dial 55555 then it should send 0 with a pause then 2, pause, and then 3. The screen says "slide to unlock the phone and answer the call" but if I want the call to go to voicemail I Have to let it keep ringing. also how do I get music from Itunes into the Eris?
