Samsung Moment :: 2.1 - Connect Wiimote Controller To Phone Using Bluetooth
May 24, 2010
I have been trying to connect my wiimote controller to my phone using bluetooth. There are a few apps in the market that allow this to work and most people seem to be having success with this app while I keep getting that error when I ever I try to connect it.
I've tried 3 wii controller apps with no success. Is this a Moment issue? Has anyone else been having the same problem?
Need more buttons and better controller layout now for psx4droid, and regular Wii remote not gonna cut it for me. The Wii Classic Controller Pro looks like a good one though, but does anybody know if it'll work with the Wiimote app? Don't wanna go shell out $20 for it if its not compatible.
I have rooted my moment, and am enjoying my customized phone more than ever. There is one thing that is lacking. I cannot figure out how to connect my phone to adb. If someone could give me a step by step with computer screen shots, I would be extremely grateful. Please note that I am not a computer programmer so speak regularly if you try to explain something to me.
I've tried windows xp, windows 7, ubuntu, and debian. I've tried samsung new pc studio drivers, and any other set of drivers i could find. I've factory reset the phone but still cannot seem to connect.. can't find any instructions that work online anywhere.
How to connect my phone via USB cable to my computer. I know you turn off USB debugging option under development. I connect the USB cable that came with my phone to USB on my computer and then to my phone. At the top of my phone it comes up with the notification to mount my card touch on that and them my phone comes up saying to turn off mass storage. Using Windows XP and in explorer can see the SD card showing as a drive in my list however when I click on it it shows nothing.
I can see the notice of the usb drive in the listings showing that I can turn it off, which I do before I disconnect the phone from my computer. Then I try to connect the USB again to my phone and all it does is show its charging the phone now, usually the only way to resolve is either to restart my computer or restart my phone and the problem starts all over again. I am tired of taking the card out of my phone manually to connect it to my computer to move or copy files or anything to my card which is an 8GB sandisk micro sd card.
so ive been playing alot of emus on my phone now and heard about the wiimote app and went to try it out but its not finding my blue tooth is there a fix to this... also is it possible to change my bt address to 30:30:30:30:30:30 so i can sync with pairing code 000000.
I cant use my Moment without my Bluetooth... any time I try to talk on it, my ear or hair hangs up the phone or puts it on speaker or turns on some other app. I think I read here that they were working on a way to lock the screen when talking? Has that happened? This is crazy.. Ive been trying to hold the phone away from my ear but I still have problems.
I have a Galaxy Note running on ICS, and N64oid v2.6.3. I have used Sixaxis controller to get my dualshock 3 connected and working on the phone. Now when I go into n64oid to try and connect it, I had to download another app for other bluetooth devices and drivers, but the dualshock 3 is not in that list.
I really want to use the Wii classic controller with my emulators but everyone says the app doesn't work with the Evo. I understand they are adding some Bluetooth functionality with the Froyo update. Does this mean there is a chance we will now be able to use Bluetooth controllers.I uderstand this is possible if I root my phone. Should I just wait for a fully functional rom after the update. Also how many of you have experience running the emulators on Froyo. Do the games seem to run any better. Any one actually got the Wii remote running on an Evo.
A couple of day ago the music controller on my BT stereo headphones (backbeat) just stopped working. I can't move between tracks and if I hit the pause button it mutes the music but does not pause the playback. It does not appear to be a physical problem with the switch because the volume control still works.Anyone else have this problem and is there a fix?
I've searched around and cant find anything. I was wondering if anybody has found a bluetooth style controller that can be used for gaming/NES emulators. Even a mini-USB device would work well.I've only found this sofar: Zeemote V3 Bluetooth Controller Reviews - Features of Zeemote Bluetooth controller | Reviews by TechnoTalks.com
If you are like me, you have been impatiently waiting for bluetooth support for keyboards / joysticks specifically the wii controller. Is it just me who wants this or what?I'm on the developer forums all the time and hardly see anyone mention this. All I know is that the nexus supported this feature, but the Evo doesn't. Seems that Sense UI screwed up this capability.HOWEVER, after installing android 2.2, with bluetooth fully functioning it seems that it still doesn't work which leads me to believe that the bluetooth HID profile is missing.
If I stick my phone to my TV via HDMI while pairing the phone with a bluetooth controller/gamepad, can I use the gamepad to move around the android UI on my couch? Like surf the internet and open apps and such.
Since I rooted to Radioactive Froyo 1.8.22 I've not been able to get my phone to connect to my PC. I tried uninstalling the programs I used to flash, [including deleting the registry files] and even re-downloaded the samsung update program, ran it to the point where it installs the drivers, and it then quit, and it still will not work.
After a month of owning my moment I finally got around to buying a usb cord to move some pics and music around between my laptop and cell. I saw on here about PDAnet and wanted to use that. I downloaded and went to install and it brought up the box that if I was going to use it with a moment I needed to cancel and install the driver, I d/l the driver and tryed to install and it gets an error unable to intall driver. I went to the control panel and it shows 5 different usb drivers for samsung as installed, I tryed to uninstall and none of them uninstall. PDAnet wont connect and im getting a little frustrated. any advise?
I am trying to flash the phone and do the 2.1 install so I can root.I've been trying for an hour and the updater will not connect with my phone.I just mounted my sd card to backup everything, so I know the driver is installed and the cable is good..
