How do I pull transfer picutres from my phone to my pc? I figured it was like any other phone i have owned (connect phone via USB to pc and just drag pic's from the phone to the pc). However it doesn't seem to work that way with the moment. I took several pic's with my phone this weekend that i want to load on my pc so I connected the moment via USB cable to my pc but i don't see any way to access the phone's info. Is there some trick to get my pic's straight from my phone to the pc?

the phone is unable to connect to Bluetooth on the laptop. it's paired but still refuses to connect. also the phone is also not shown as a modem on the device manager. Any idea where I can find modem drivers for the phone. I tried NPS and KIES but they both fail to find the device and do not install the modem drivers.
[Guide] A little guide to Galaxy S to latop via DLNA.A Little Guide to The Galaxy S DLNA.This is not meant to be a comprehensive guide, but rather a starter's guide to get you on your feet. If you want to add more contents to this thread, feel free to do so. If you want to post this guide somewhere else, also feel free to do so, but do give credit where it is due.Wikipedia's definition of DLNA: The Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) is a non-profit collaborative trade organization comprised of more than 250 member companies in the mobile, consumer electronics, PC, and service provider industries. Alliance members have stated the common goal of using standards-based technology to make it easier for consumers to use, share and enjoy their digital photos, music and videos.
What this mean is that DLNA allows you to stream videos, pictures and music across multiple platforms without the need to actually transfer the file itself. Streaming between hardwares that comes with the DLNA label is easy. However, if you do not have a wifi capable TV, the next best option would be to stream to a computer screen instead. And here is what you need.A Galaxy S (or a Captivate for our dear U.S. buddies)A wifi capable computer - which can be a laptop or a computer connected to a wifi router.Windows Media player 12.
I created a wireless adhoc network in my laptop and tried to discover the wireless network from my galaxys, but its not able to detect the connection. But when i try the same with a wireless router/modem its working fine. and 1. how do i use dlna without a wireless router (just my laptop and galaxys) 2. how to use unified wifi remote.
I did and I think it started to charge the battery, which I'm avoiding because I want to 100% drain it before its first recharge... What I want to know is how to transfer files over from my laptop to the phone. I have some pictures (jpeg) videos (3gpp, came from my other cell) and a ton of music (MP3s) I'd like on the phone.
Trying to share videos and photos I've taken. As far as I can tell, there's no way to upload directly from the phone. You have to attach photos and videos and email them. One video more than two minutes long can't be sent.(too big to attach is the message) Can anyone help me with this? And I really am curious about the USB cord.

I can't transfer anything to the computer.
I have a samsung galaxy s4 and i need to get some files off it, saved photos, possibly contacts etc. however, i smashed the screen and digitiser pretty good so there is no touch recognition. the phone itself is recognised on my macbook however i stupidly made it to be recognised in photo capture not MTP. How to simply send all my data across directly from my phone to the laptop. I also dont have a spare samsung lying about for the motherboard switch.
I just bought Xperia X10 mini pro (android 1.6). Trying to transfer a file from laptop to mobile. Both devices detect each other but file transfer from laptop to mobile fails. Do we need to any changes before using bluetooth first?
How's it going fellow Vibrant owners? I'm new here, been lurking for awhile and decided to register to ask some questions and help out others. My question; is this usb cable the same as the one provided with the vibrant? Amazon.com: Samsung Replacement USB Data Charging Cable for Samsung SPH-M330, SCH-R100, SGH-T939, SCH-R850: Cell Phones & Service looks identical, but anyone have input? or atleast anywhere thats cheap? I'd like to order from Amazon so I can do a group my order for a screen protector for those curious: Amazon.com: REALOOK T-Mobile Samsung Vibrant Anti-Fingerprint Premium LCD Screen Protector 2 Pack: Electronics.
Is there anyway to allow data transfer over a wireless networ between the galaxy and a computer? I currently can't find my transfer cable and when I email myself songs and download them onto my phone, they are stored as a .mpx which play fine untill the phone is turned off or otherwise refreshes. After this, when trying to play the .mpx files an error message saying"No applications can perform this action" despite the songs playing fine only minutes before. However it would be damn useful just to connect my phone to the network, but while it connects, it doesn't appear in the devices connected to the network.

Does anyone have the problem of their captivate USB cord barely staying connected on the phone's side? The sliding 'door' is all the way open but it seems like it barely is connected, and the slightest movement makes it fall out.
Is there any way of maintain the image quality of a contact display picture? It always seems to get reduced for some reason.I save it to my GOogle contacts and then it gets synced to my phone. I don't know if it would make a difference if i saved it to my phone directly
I bought a samsung galaxy xcover 2 2 weeks ago, and i realized that theres nothing to do to transfer/download straight to sd card. I called to Samsung support in finland and they said that i have to format the sd card and after that you can transfer some very few applicatoins to sd card but however i have not managed to transfer even one application. I have tried app2sd and searched around the internet in order to find some way to transfer apps to sd card. I found from youtube some kind of way, but there was like downloading some program to computer and then connecting the sd card and phone separately to computer and then giving some commands to computer and copy and cut and clicking thousands folders and some more stuff i didnt really understand the whole thing was really complicated. I am starting to be really frustrated for this problem or whatever it is, its just stupid to even put this kind of faulty "function" to any kind of smart phone. In every other way samsung galaxy xcover 2 is very excellent and easy to use, but i think transfering apps to sd is very important function/tool. How to transfer apps to sd in Samsung galaxy xcover 2.
