I have a Samsung Galaxy I8190L.When ever I try to download certain games from the store, it shows this message "This item cannot be installed on your device." however my wife has the same phone and she was able to download the game that Im looking for which is Plants vs Zombies 2.
I have disabled Localization for Google apps and ads and yet when I go into the Store, I keep on getting the message. So after several failed tries, I used App2SD and extracted the .apk into my phone but It wont download showing that it wont find enough resources.
Though Galaxy S has got the gorgeous Super AMOLED display and good GPU which is capable of 50FPS, I dont see a whole lot of games developed by Premium Game makers (like EA, Game loft). Also, any game playable with Android 2.1 is compatible with Galaxy S or do we need games specifically developed for Galaxy S?
Hope i don't sound too much as a noob but just wanted to ask ,is it possible to play ps2 games on samsung s galaxy ? i know s galaxy has the strongest gpu now and i guess with overclocking it will be even stronger but is it possible to play ps2 games on it?
btw this is my first thread ever and I'm buying the s galaxy tomorrow
I have downloaded nova(cracked) via Wi-Fi. So I played a few times, then it said that I have to check its originality. So I added 127.0.0.1 confirmation.gameloft.com into hosts, but it still says that it is not original.
I love NES games and Nesoid seems to be the best emu for android, so I picked it up. Problem is I can't seem to find a decent button layout to allow me to play properly. Anyone found a set-up that works for them?
I have a Samsung Galaxy Express, which is basically a gimped SIII and ran into some weird slowdown issues. I first noticed with Fast & Furious 6. When I first installed it, it ran smooth. After a few weeks, the game became so choppy it was close to unplayable. I just thought it was a fluke, maybe one of the updates didn't like my phone.
So, after this and other random issues, I did a factory reset. After that I downloaded Injustice, very happy it was finally added for android. Same thing, at first it ran great but after a week or two it started to become choppy. I have cleared all my caches, cleared my ram right before playing by using an app All-in-One Toolbox and I have 2.3 Gigs free space out of 5 Gigs.
The phone runs on Jelly Bean(I think, whatever is 4.1.2) and the model number is SGH-I437. I know there are at least two different Samsung Galaxy Express model numbers so that is why I added that info.
I have a rooted phone (using framaroot) and i tried to move my installed apps and games to my ext sd card (san disk class4 8gb) using link2sd app but it always failed and give an insuffient memory error.. GT-S6312
I have helped some friends updating their SGS phones with the new software from the samsung firmwares website. However, now I'm stuck with a problem on one of the phones: It simply won't go into download mode. Normally, I press the volume down + menu key and while pressing them I push the power button. But nothing happens, excemt the phone starts up just like normal. I've done it the exact same way with all the models, but this model does not react like the rest of them. Today, I successfully updated 3 models this way, but model number 4 would not go into download mode. The model has the JM2 firmware now. The other 3 models had JM1 firmware, even though they were all purchased at the same date. Is there another way of getting the SGS into download mode?
I need to download the Quake II Demo Pak0.pak so I can put it in the quake 2 folder so I can play quake II on my phone. But no. My phone won't let me download anything through the browser. No matter what it is, or where it is, I can't access anything that starts with "FTP". Also, I can't access the megaupload download server, I can't download things from my email. I can't do any of that. When I use allftp and I put in an ftp site, it asks for a username and password even if the ftp is public. How can I download a freaking file?
Relatively new to android so please bare with, A few weeks after purchasing i had to uhh update firmware etc etc ..which basically removed all apps/games i had previously purchased/installed off of the market .. Id just like to know if the new update's going to do the same .. not real keen on losing a great deal of paid apps
I'm rooting my Galaxy S for the first time. Looks like there are multiple ways to do it: (1) Download & apply update.zip (2) Use z4root app from market (3) Use SuperOneClick for PC (4) Use OneClickLagFix app
My wife recently got a SGS and we have just tried to download Kies so that she can put some music etc on it (she has a 16GB microsd card in it). However, when we try and install Kies it gets to the installation phase and then at the stage where it prompts you what to install, I selected "instal all" and then it thinks about it and comes back a minute later with a message "unable to connect to file server".Is this a common problem people have had? We are running Windows 7 64 bit, so I dont know if there is a compatability issue? If we cant get Kies to download (and I called their support line and of course no-one answers) is there another way to get data onto the phone and external card? Will I need to buy some kind of adaptor so that I can connect the microsd card and just treat it as any external hard drive?
I'm having problems with the app store, and it seems to be a little different to the ones already listed here. I'm hoping it's a problem with the Android app store or something...
Anyway, I'm just getting "download unsuccessful" every time I try to get an app.
The main bit of advice is to clear the caches, or delete the data, from a few things. I've done this, except for "Google Apps", because the delete data button isn't there.
I've also had it suggested that it's changing from one sort of google account to another. I've had gmail for years and years (since the early days of its beta) and have never changed it, or any settings related to it.
I started a firmware update (using Odin) and, when downloading the amss, samsung says "Bad block table read fail". a lot of times and the progress bar (on Odin) stay locked. And the update cant finish. So, I restart the mobile... but it always come with the "Downloading..." screen. I've tried the recovery mode [vol down] + [start call] + [end call] buttons, but it always go to "Downloading..." screen. I can't exit from the download mode, and the phone doesn't start any more. I've removed the battery, but the same... the "diskette logo" come with "Downloading..." all the times. So, two questions: 1) About the "bad block" message, I think it's because I left "turned on" the USB debugging. so, I want to start the phone to turn it off again. This make sense? 2) How to get rid of this screen? How to stop the download mode?
I have a Galaxy S running stock ROM. No lag fix no custom ROM no root nothing. Just now I tried going into recovery/download mode to see what features it have by pressing the volume down+home+Power button. Now the phone says "Downloading Do not turn of target! What can I do to solve this problem. Till now I haven't tried to restart the phone? Should I do that?
