Samsung Fascinate :: Stuck On Reboot Screen
my fascinate is rooted and i attempted (foolishly) to replace the default device fonts. however, after following directions and "successfully" completing the steps, my phone rebooted and is now stuck on the samsung reboot screen. i've tried wiping all data, removing cache, removal of sd card, and rebooting and i'm still stuck on the samsung main reboot screen.is there anyway to fix this issue or at least restore my phone using terminal on a mac or command on windows? and if this is possible, would debugging have to be checked because i unchecked debugging after i rooted my phone.

I have JT's Voodo (v.2 Ext 4 installed) on my samsung fascinate, and I tried deactivating it using the voodoo toggle app so that I could flash his super clean rom. Things appeared to go ok, but now i'm stuck on the reboot screen (have the droid peeing on apple) for an hour now. I know JT said wait it out, but I havent read about anybody having it in reboot for over an hour.I dont know what to do?

Samsung Behold 2 :: Modifying Libwebcore.so Causing Phone Stuck On Reboot
I have a rooted behold 2 [stock] and when I push libwebcore.so into system/lib , the phone hangs after I reboot. I have tried it with a couple of different libwebcore.so files [one from android 1.5 and 2.1] with the same outcome. It sounds like the system is checking for corrupt files or so when it boots and doesn't go any further if its numbers don't match up. Any ideas ? The reason I'm trying to do this is that i want to be able to read arabic properly on webpages. I have already installed the arabic font [thanks to BH_Man] and all the characters are displayed. However, the browser renders the order of the letters backward [from left to right instead of the opposite].

HTC EVO 4G :: Stuck Get Into Recovery Reboot
My rooted Evo keeps hanging up after I try to reboot into recovery. When I rooted my Evo I had used a bat file from my desktop to get into recovery after original root. My question is will I have to run this file again from my desktop with my Evo connected to get into recovery mode again to flash fresh Rom. Will there be any issues with running this recovery file again. Or Am I missing a step to get into recovery. Power off hold volume down while power on volume scroll down to recovery press power button.

HTC Incredible :: Stuck In Reboot Loop
This afternoon, while scanning the forums. I had my Incredible charging off the AC adapter. and in airplane mode for shits and giggles. After doing some research on the ATK killers. I decided to uninstall mine and just allow the phone to manage itself. After the phone was finished with the uninstall I gave it a quick reboot just to allow the core apps to come back up. and upon doing so, I found myself in an endless reboot cycle. I would get the HTC " quietly brilliant " screen, followed by two verizon wireless screens and then loop back to the HTC screen. I let it loop about 10 times before pulling the battey to stop it. It's rather odd. After pulling the battery and disconnecting it from the charger, I let it sit for a few minutes, replaced the battery and attempted the restart again. Once again I found myself in the same loop. After 5-6 loops i was finally brought to the OS and everything loaded as normal. Anyone have opinions on what may have caused this? 1. Uninstall of ATK 2. Rebooting while on charge 3. Airplane mode + charge + reset=boom 4. Because I touch myself at night

My dinc just automatically rebooted and got stuck in the initial white droid incredible screen (before the green htc logo)....vibrate...black...white droid incredible screen. happened for first time two nights ago...finally got it out of this and wiped phone to factory. just today happened again. i was able to uninstal it in between the 5 minutes of working phone i had (kept going into reboot cycle....and as soon as i uninstalled it..this nonesense stopped!

HTC EVO 4G :: Stuck In Reboot Loop After Latest Updates?
I have a non-rooted EVO with all the latest updates and lately it will randomly go into a reboot loop. The only way I've been able to stop this loop is immediately put it in airplane mode, that is when it gets as far as the main screen. Usually it doesn't even get to the 4G animation before crashing again. Is there a fix for this? Or is this a hardware issue? I have not done a hard reset yet or anything.

Droid :: Phone Stuck On Motorola Reboot Symbol
I rooted my phone Friday and it is now Tuesday(Got my phone in August). I installed some apps that are rooted only. Tethering, Overclock Widget, Titanium Backup, ROM manager.When I tried to install a new ROM I was getting download errors. I saw something about ADW.Launcher so I downloaded that and got a theme for it. Today when I reinstalled the Cyanogen 6.0.0. Stable release and rebooted my phone I would get to the Motorola Symbol. After that I got to my custom boot image(Dancing Droids). The image got half way doing its animation it restarted from the begging this continued until I took out the battery. Went into recovery mod and the Cyanogen boot image appeared and did the same as my Dancing Droid but completed 1 1/2 circles with the blue flame. When I got home I plugged in my phone flashed a 2.2 FRG22D.sbf file. I then used RSD lite and connected my phone. Had some trouble flashing the file but eventually got it. When I went back to the boot loader screen and cleared my cache/data(thought it would help) I restarted my phone. Watched and Motorola symbol appear and posted this 1 hour later. Can someone please tell me what I did wrong or what to do?

I've been rooted for quite some time to it. Not exactly an old pro, but I know my way around at this point.At any rate, I decided to give the BatteryLeft widget a try today since I went to Fab's xTheme and it didn't have a battery percentage in the notification bar. The dev recommends that you let your phone completely discharge a few times so that it can accurately predict the remaining percentage and the time until the battery dies.So I let the battery completely discharge and I connected it to my home wall charger to begin recharging. The problem I have been having is that my phone will not stay powered off and continually tries to boot up. I tried charging via car charger, USB and in the media dock and I had the same result. The problem is that the phone won't charge long enough to stay powered on and continue to charge. The process of rebooting seems to prevent the phone from charging appropriately and uses up the small bit of the charge the battery gets for the 2-3 seconds before rebooting.I tried rebooting into CWR and letting it sit to gather enough charge to stay up, but that doesn't seem to have worked either.I'm at a loss for what to do. I can't get the phone to stay on to do anything, I can't get it to stay off to charge.

HTC Droid Eris :: Phone Crashed And Stuck In Perpetual Reboot
So the phone has been a bit quirky since the OTA, but nothing major. However, today I was on the internet and the phone totally crashed and then began to reboot. However it has been stuck in reboot mode since then, going from HTC to Verizon screens over and over. I've removed the battery twice, and let it sit, and nothing. Still stuck. It was not charging and I do not have it rooted. It just plain crashed.

I just unrooted and installed the leaked radio update so i would have less bugs with the froyo ROMS. I installed the radio perfectly fine, but now unrevoked isn't working for me. I deleted all of the previous files and reinstalled them (sdk folder, usb drivers, reflash) when i run the reflash tool, it gets stuck after rebooting, says "waiting for reboot..." As the phone rebooted, it changed to "Flashing recovery image. Do not touch your phone!" but instead of into recovery, it just continued to restart the phone as usual

I'm doing my usual pushing buttons. I dl'd the manual but can't figure this out. I have on the main screen an option of 5 different things: wifi (on/off), bluetooth (on/off), something, something, screen brightness. I think I toggled it on but don't know how to turn it off now.

Samsung Vibrant :: Stuck On Galaxy S Screen
We tried to root it and apply the lag fix via "OneClickLagFix" app (from the Market), and the phone was very fast for about a week, then slowed down SIGNIFICANTLY. Tonight, it just froze and will not boot past the Galaxy S screen. The screen will then go black and the four buttons at the bottom stay lit. We have gone into recovery and wiped the cache but no luck. Have not yet tried to wipe user data. Transfer all data from internal storage to a separate drive, then wipe phone? If so, will I have to "flash" a stock/custom ROM to get the phone back up?

I downloaded a kernal on ryans lag fix and then it made my phone get stuck on the VIBRANT SAMSUNG screen so i tried to fix it by using odin, but all it did was make it go to the Galaxy s sign now, any suggestions on how i can fix this? Samsung Epic 4G :: Exchange Email Stuck On Loading Screen
I've entered all of the correct info to connect to my corporate exchange server, but immediately after setting up the account (and on all subsequent attempts to get into that email account), the "Loading..." screen appears with a spinning wheel and never goes away. Was updating my SGS when it got stuck on the screen where Android is digging in the dirt and says Downloading... do no turn off target. Windows is also giving me an error "The Program can't start because RAPI.dll is missing from your compter. Samsung Captivate :: Recovering From Clockwork And Gets Stuck On White AT&T Screen
I put Cognition on my phone today, and made a backup image of the stock 2.1 before putting Cognition on. I decided I want to go back to the Stock, so I clicked the "manage backups" part of Clockwork, and "recover" on the image I saved. Next, the phone rebooted, and looked like it was installing the backup image, and rebooted again. However, it will not go past the White AT&T screen. Is my only option to use Odin to give it a factory reset? Or is there an easier way for me to do this?

Samsung Behold 2 :: Phone Rooted To 1.5 - Stuck On Android Screen
I believe it's called boot looping? It originally happened after I rooted my phone (original 1.5 software) following these directions: How To: Root the Samsung Behold 2 | The Unlockr. After that, I deleted DinerDash2, Midnight Bowling, Where's Waldo, IM, Talk, Amazon MP3, MyFaves, Telenav, HotSpot, Audio Postcard, Postcard.apk. When I tried to reboot my phone, I was stuck on the Samsung screen. I finally got the screen to go away, but a message repeatedly popped up saying the TwLauncher closed unexpectedly. Then I tried using ODIN and installing BH_Man's factory v1.6 http://androidforums.com/all-things-root-behold-2/63612-port-behold-ii-factory-1-6-a.html. I used the adb commands to delete the bloatware again. Restarted the phone and got the same problem. (Except I was stuck on the android screen.) I tried to install the factory v1.6 again, then immediately did a factory restore and then rebooted my screen once it loaded. Everything seemed okay. I uninstalled the stock games and rebooted again. It seemed to be working. When I uninstalled more apps (including CubeLauncher) and restarted the phone. What do I do? Did I uninstall something I am not supposed to? I think I might try installing the 1.6 No Twiz Kernel. I am sick of these "TwLauncher closed unexpectedly" messages.

I can root a g1 with ease but I sort of got into trouble with the behold. This might sound stupid but do I need to root the phone before I install the port galaxy 1.6? I just did this. 1. download odin here Odin Multi Downloader v4.03.exe 2. download any Of BH_MAN ODIN Ready Rom's 3. download winrar ( google it) to extract the BH_MAN zip file. 4. follow these instruction Quote: 1. Click the PDA button and choose the md5 file, You will get error message" invalid image...," but ignore it. 5. Turn off Phone. 6. Plug phone into USB. 7. And my phone was stuck on the android logo. do I need to root first and where can I find this? Samsung Fascinate :: Screen Went Black
Came into work this morning, plugged the phone into the Samsung dock, was trying to get to my gmail when the screen went out. Well, I've had some annoyances with the screen timeout, so I thought nothing of it. Tried pushing the power button. Nothing. Took the phone off the dock. Tried again - nothing. The backlight comes on on the capacitive buttons, but the screen is black. Held down the power button - the power off/airplane/silent toggle comes on. Okay, I thought - maybe it's frozen up. Powered down, got the VZW splash screen. Powered back up, got the whole bootup animation. After the VZW splash screen, screen goes black and I'm right back in the same place again. I've also tried this process with removing the battery. Same thing happens. Seems to linger at the Verizon splash screen longer than I remember, too, on bootup. About 20 seconds. So to recap, here I am: The backlight on the capacitive buttons is on (and not dimming, btw). If I hold down power, I get the power off menu. Otherwise, the screen is black, and not responding to any button presses. I'm running Launcher Pro, otherwise stock/not rooted. Need help - don't have time to go wait at the vzw store for an hour today.

I opened this app (battery booster, can't post link because I am new) after downloading it excited to hoping it was better then a previous one I was trying that seemed to do next to nothing.I saw the brightness button and hit it. It showed 11%. I was like oh I thought I had this all the way down.so I use the scroller to take it all the way down assuming 0% meant that it was the lowest it could possible dim the screen.well it sure is a battery saver considering I can't even see my screen as its completely BLACK 1. Why would you even allow something like this in a app. 2. Please help me fix it. I have tried for about an hour to assume where the scroll down, and mounting the phone to my computer so that I could possibly uninstall it via computer with no luck.

Samsung Fascinate :: S Amoled Screen Good?
Are you kidding me ? Not only can I see this screen outside in the sunlight, I can see it outside in the sunlight WITH MY SUNGLASSES ON. Coming from the Dinc I had a very hard time seeing that screen in the sunlight. How could I ever go back to any other kind of screen? This SF reminds me of when I first started dating my wife. Wasn't the greatest when I first met her, but the more I got to know her the more I couldn't get enough of her.

Samsung Fascinate :: Screen Lock During Calls
Anyone have this problem where when they are on a call the screen locks and you can't hang up the call until you unlock the screen or the other end hangs up? Is there a setting to not lock the screen when on a call. This is driving me nuts to always have to unlock the screen just to get to hangup the phone. From what I can tell I think it happens only when I make the call. But if a call comes in when the screen is locked it allows me to hang up after the call. I check most of the settings and i don't see any options for that...

Samsung Fascinate : Can't Use Pop Up Screen Reply With Handcent
Is anyone else using handcent having issues replying with the pop up screen? When a message arrives it pops up on the screen and I hit reply but it won't open to allow me to. I have to swipe the screen and either pull down the notification bar or touch the handcent icon. It is annoying. I have tried different settings in the menu but nothing seems to fix the issue. Is handcent compatible with the fascinate? Even when I use the native messaging app I have to pull the messaging puzzle piece to unlock and touch the messaging icon. Please tell me there is a fix for this.

i will be using my phone, set it down for a minute, screen turns off then the phone magically isnt on anymore. I have to do a battery pull to get it back on. The power button will not turn it on. any help anyone can give me its reallllly annoying update. Samsung Fascinate :: Screen White Lines From Top To Bottom?
Randomly, when actively doing stuff on the phone, I go to white lines running from the top of the phone to the bottom when the screen was in portrait position. There were two of them on the right side, each line being a couple pixels in width, separated by a few pixels of normal screen. It lasted for a few seconds, and then the screen reset itself. It's only happened once or twice, but it should happen at all with such an expensive phone and nice screen.

Everyone complains about that I sound like I am in a "tunnel". is there a fix for this and will the 2.2 possibly help this? Also, my screen is very glitchy does everyone have that problem? One more thing. I will go to the call list and tap on the person I want to call and it will call someone else. I love the phone and the interface but would love to get these problems solved.

Samsung Fascinate :: App Killed - Screen Totally Turned Off?
So i was busy installing apps and moving them around my screen when i accidentally hit the auto-brightness toggle on one of my newly installed widgets, i went to hit it a few more times to restore my previous brightness, but my screen totally turned off. The phone is still on, if someone calls me i can hear the ring tone perfectly. I've done some Googl'ing looking for answers but i havn't found anything useful, I have already ordered a replacement fascinate under warranty, but it would be nice to find a solution to save myself 20 bucks on a zagg invisi shield..are there any know solutions or ways to factory reset without using the screen? The Samsung logo and Galaxy S boot-up are visible, but when it normally shows the unlock screen its completely black
