Are your notification lights working? Mine doesnt seem to ever flash when i get emails or gchat messages. I have enabled it in Settings>Sound and Display, I checked off Pulse Notification Light.

For some reason after the media hub update my notification light doesn't blink anymore, it just stays solid red? Has anyone had this issue, or have any ideas on what to do? I'm thinking about exchanging it...
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am on my third epic and still having the same problem. My notification light worked fine when the phone was first activated and slowly stopped working altogether. I also bought my girlfriend one and the same thing happened to hers. That's four phones in three weeks. I can't be the only one that is having this issue. Anyone else? My setting for the light to pulse is checked. I have also done a factory reset.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just downloaded the media hub update today and noticed that now when i get a text message my notification light stays solid instead of blinking...This is annoying because it could cause the battery to drain and it just looks weird...Is there any setting i can mess with, or has anyone else had this problem? I also notice that when i text i don't hear the typing anymore. It's just silent until i click send...Kind of weird...I'm thinking about uninstalling and re-installing handcent..

I've seen from other posts here that it only comes on in sleep mode in 2.1, but mine doesn't even come on then. I downloaded LED Tester from the market and those aren't coming up either which has me worried. If this means a VZW swap, backup recommendations?

Many of the Samsung Galaxy S phones come with a beautiful array of soft keys with LEDs that are dieing to be used as notification lights as well. For example, the T-Mobile Samsung Vibrant has 4 soft keys (menu, home, back, search). I would like to be able to set the menu key to light up at an interval of 3 seconds within the first hour of receiving a text message and light up at an interval of 5 seconds or more after the first hour of receiving a text message. Has Samsung released the necessary API? Or does Google have control over this?

I like the phone except for a couple of things that i have noticed one of them being the wobble oreo effect that I seem to have on both phones and I just noticed I have dead pixels on both phones! I am so disappointed and don't know what to do? The pixels are one to two tiny black specks that can be seen on light background screen colors.

I know flashes on camera phones aren't all that great, but they do help in many situations. I read in a couple places that this phone has a night mode negating the need for the flash. So far I have not been able to find any sample photos taken in low light conditions, say a portrait of friends in a dark restaurant, or at a party. Can those of you who have the phone post some sample shots in these conditions?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am able to pull up my list of contacts, but when I click on a contact I get the message "Unfortunately, contacts have stopped working" and it send me to the home screen. I have a Samsung Galaxy Light running Jelly Bean 4.2.2. The phone worked fine for awhile, then started giving me the error messages. If I do a factory reset, the problem is fixed for a few days, but then the contacts problem persists again. I have tried all of the following:
1. Clearing the contacts cache
2. Enabling contacts storage - it already was running and there is no place to "Disable" or "enable" that I can see.
3. Factory reset - works for a few days and then the problem reoccurs
4. Change Date settings to a different format
5. Change time settings to a 24 hr format
Nothing has worked so far.
While on a call my phone vibrates and plays the tone. Is it just my phone or everyones? Is there a way I can remove or edit these settings?

View 10 Replies View RelatedThe problem I'm having is when ever I set a default notification tone it plays good and loud when I test it but when I actually get a text the volume drops below half making it very hard to hear the phone when ever I get a text. Is there a reason its doing this? I have the notification all the way up and it still drops when I get a text.
