I thought Sprint had really good nfl coverage. I checked the Sprint NFL app but there was nothing about watching games. I had sprint nfl on my old blackberry and I was at least able to listen to the radio broadcast. I saw a verizon commercial a few days ago that looked like they have nfl games broadcasted over the phone. Is there anyway to watch games on the Epic?
Since the 8gb with in the i7500 is flash and built in, does the phone use this to store apps/games? Or does it store it in the RAM? If it's in the RAM thats now a lot of space for apps/games especially when some are pretty big files.
I have rooted my captivate, but don't know how to use it yet! I am still a newb to this! But I found and application called "tattachapkinstaller" where it lets you install apps from gmail. But the problem is when I tried to use the app it would say "install blocked: for security, your phone is set to block installation of application not sourced in android market". I thought rooting the phone will allow me to?
If you're interested in learning how to develop top class games and applications for the iPhone, HTC Touch (Android), Instinct, WinMobile, or any other mobile device or platforms - then you should definitely have a look at what they offer...http://EDUmobile.org
OK, like most here I'm struggling a bit with battery life. Last night for example I was 100% charged when I went to sleep, woke up to the phone at 72%. So yeah, nearly 30% battery lost simply sitting there doing nothing. So, I have just now killed off the DRM service and media hub in running services in hopes that my issue is what others have experienced.
However... I routinely notice many other apps running in my task killer "Advance Task Killer Free". Just now for example I just shut everything down. I sent a text message to the wife, and now the following apps are once again running:
Voice Dialer Media Hub Amazon MP3
There are others that I actually want going, JuiceDefender, SysTray Monitor... but what is up with these above?? I am CONSTANTLY seeing them run. Is there a way to shut these down for good? Why are they starting up on their own? Does anyone know if this is a part of my battery issues?
Getting ready to root my Samsung Moment but after looking through all the threads. I am a little overwhelmed with all the different ROMs. So what do you think is the best ROM for the Samsung Moment? Also why do you think its the best?
I recently got the Epic 4G and I am trying to get Gameboid to work on my Epic. It's telling me, "You MUST specify the BIOS file in the settings before you can play any games!" So I downloaded gba_bios.bin and saved it onto my SD card. How do I get the Bios mounted so I can actually use the application to play my ROMS?
I'm facing problems downloading games and apps from the android market on my LG Eve (GW620). It says my item will be downloaded, but the bar does not show any percentage (it's remains grey) for a very long time. So far I only succeeded in downloading 3 apps but I still have to wait about 10 minutes. The rest took longer than 10 minutes so I just gave up.
I think it would be nice to start thread with your five (5) favorite Android Application & Games.
I'll be the first to start.
1. Waze - Real-time maps and traffic information based on the wisdom of the crowd 2. WiFinder - Nice look WiFi scanner allows you to connect all wifi networks: Open, WEP, WPA, WPA2. 3. Angry Birds - Great way to burn time, i really recommend for everyone even if you don't play much. 4. imo - Stay connected to your friends through all the protocols imo supports: AIM, Facebook, Google Talk, ICQ, Jabber, MSN, MySpace, Skype, and Yahoo. 5. Call Sift - convenient application that only allows urgent calls when youre busy

I owned a Moto W385 with USC, my wife also. For our birthdays we upgraded to Samsung Epic 4G. A phone that I actually have been waiting for ever since the IPhone came out because I knew the technology would be where I wanted it to be for the most part (speed, HD, capacity, upgrade ability/customization. I'm more getting more camera time in than making Epic 4G porn, but it is fun!
So this has probably been answered at some point but I am new to the forum and cannot find it anywhere. I'm looking to remove preloaded apps like sprint tv, nascar, asphalt 5.I am already rooted is there an uninstaller app or something?
My Samung Epic 4g was working fine until I plugged in the charger and it WOULD NOT CHARGE. tried another charger, nothing. Tested outlet, yes, it provides electric. So I turned off the Epic and IT WILL NOT TURN ON. Took battery out for a while, put it back in nothing.
Has anyone figured out how to do this? When I hold my finger on a text and choose forward, I only get the box where I have to type in each contact individually. Is there a way to show a list of my contacts when forwarding or at least a way to forward to a group? I have groups set up, but there doesnt seem to be a way to access them when forwarding. I have tried every option and every menu and cant find out how to do this on the Epic?
