Read this on egadget so I quickly copped em and installed em on my epic. The live wallpapers are pretty cool, especially the Jump To Light Speed.

If you want to show your friends the best live wallpaper ever! Well here's the link. Its simple as pie to install. Its an actual side scrolling super mario game on the screen going thru boards like someone is playing the game. Its been out for a few weeks I thought I would share. If you haven't seen it, google or you tube it. Its a must see and have. We should list other must have "live" wallpaper here also, I have plenty. Be sure to thank me!
[Live Wallpaper] Mario Live Wallpaper 0.92b [Update] - xda-developers
This may have been answered, but I've been following this all day and haven't seen anyone explain how to do it. I'm on Joey's DD03 v4. I've downloaded some live wallpapers but have no idea how to apply them/make them work.
As always, this is at your own risk and I am not responsible for anything that happens to your phone (really nothing can happen that can't be fixed/reflashed).
You can install these a number of different ways. Forget all that and let's make it easy! You must have root to do this.
1) Download file and rename to LiveWallpapers.apk 2) Place in root of SD card. 3) Open Root Explorer and go to SD card, then long press file (LiveWallpapers.apk) and select copy. 4) Back up and go to the System folder, then Apps. 5) Hit the big button on top to mount as Mount as R/W. 6) Press paste, it will ask you to overwrite file, press yes. 7) After this is done select the LiveWallpapers.apk and long press to bring up permissions. Change permissions to User- Read and Write, Group- Read, Others-Read then OK. Hit the big button on top to mount as R/O again! 8) Reboot and then long press the screen, bring up live wallpapers, then select Nexus, then enjoy!
I already rooted my phone and I already downloaded a few live wallpapers from the market.. but I want to install some others from my computer to the phone. I put some wallpaper files in a zip. and put the zip. on my phone. I then went into recovery mode and tried to extract them from the zip. but it didnt work.. How do I put live wallpapers on my Moment? It is already rooted, and it already has the capability.
I was able to download all the ones I found in the market but I know that there are more out there (I've seen them)How do I find them and how do I get the on my phone? (I'm running DD10 btw)Also, I don't have the original nexus one live wallpapers either, can I have help there too?
Well I like the Mario wallpaper but someone told me it consumes more battery than the bubbles one... Is this true that some live wallpapers consume more battery even if it says 2% on the battery status thing
Kind of like how I was able to install the Stock N1 live wallpapers to my Moment? Shouldn't it be availible once the Galaxy S is rooted? Some of those new ones I've seen on the Galaxy S look really nice
Since the sprint live tv has been down this week, I have been looking for a new app to watch live tv. I downloaded the upstream app, but have been wondering if anyone had any other apps that work well.
I thought Sprint had really good nfl coverage. I checked the Sprint NFL app but there was nothing about watching games. I had sprint nfl on my old blackberry and I was at least able to listen to the radio broadcast. I saw a verizon commercial a few days ago that looked like they have nfl games broadcasted over the phone. Is there anyway to watch games on the Epic?
Does GAOSP Froyo support live wallpapers for i7500? If yes, can you recommend some that seem to run fine without (major) slowdown? I would suspect that the CPU is too slow to run most live wallpapers, but there might be some neat ones that are good to go?
We have root access even before the phone is officially released. When the phone is officially launched, Samsung hopefully release its source code and we'll have access to even more goodies. Perhaps source drivers *crosses fingers*. adb root exploit - test
Ok so i have my own home screen launcher and currently i use an imageview with wallpaper manager to ft the system wallpaper howeveer if there's a live wallpaper is set it still pulls the same wallpaper however i wanna beable to have the user use a live wallpaper behind my app how would that be possible
I'm using titanium backup to try and get rid of all the live wallpapers because i'll never use them. I see some of them listed by name in TB, but I can't find all of them. Is there some package that contains most of the stock live wallpapers that if I uninstall it, they all will be removed? On another note, since flashing to Velocity, I can't seem to get my Google contacts list to sync and I can't remember how I did it originally. Anyone remember how it's done?
this is my first time posting and i had a question i have the HTC Magic and i did the Over the air update to 2.1 and everything went great no problems.but i thought 2.1 was suppose to bring us the live wallpapers and the turn by turn navigation to Google maps.did i miss something or is it just not available on these phones?
