Motorola Droid X :: Keep SBF File On PC Or On SD Card On Phone
Nov 18, 2010Do you keep the SBF file on your PC or on your SD card on the phone? I believe you can flash it either way but what's the easiest and what do most people do?

View 8 RepliesSo, I downloaded MP3 Music Download App. and then downloaded a song. Shortly after, my phone locked up. I pulled the battery and restarted and now the phone (Droid X) freezes upon startup when it tried to load the card. I suspect that the song I downloaded is messing it up. I am relatively new to Android phones and SD Cards in general, but any tips on how to fix this issue?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI apologize if this has already been asked and answered. Obviously I'm new here and not real sure how the search function goes.
Anyway, can I delete the 2.1 file off my SD card once it's installed on my phone? If so, what's the easiest way to do that.
What is the file path where you should download the ROMs/basebands too on your SD card?

First of all I have a Droid X flashed to Cricket. All was well including 3g internet. That is until last week when I decided to upgrade to 2.2.I lost the internet.Went back to where I had it flashed. He had to wipe the phone and reflash it.This included him pushing the file to the phone that gives me internet. The phone worked the rest of that day. Then the next morning the phone kept locking up.I took it back to him again, he wiped it reflashed it and pushed the file again with the same result of it locking up.We found that it was the internet file that was locking up the phone. As of right now it is flashed without the internet working. If we push that file to the phone it locks it up. The same file that gave me internet when I was on 2.1.My question is, is there a way for me to be on 2.2 and get the internet on Cricket? Why is this happening? How do I make it work without going back to 2.1

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy brother just bought a Milestone and he's having problems with the SD card (8gb). What happens is that he put some music on his phone, and with the program Ringdroid, began to cut some songs. Then, the phone began to crash, he restarted it. After restarting, the device didn't recognize the memory, saying "Blank sd card or unsupported system", occasionally rebooting, indicates that it was removed. I have looked in other threads and google it, but found nothing useful. I can't unmount or format it from the phone. And as I have the G1, I put my card (that works) on Milestone and got the same problem, so I think it's not the SD. I've already formatted it, nothing.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI guess I need some expert advice here. My Droid has become increasingly slower due to multiple ROM's I've installed. I noticed that when you uninstall an application, the directories and misc. files are left behind on the SD card. Is there a way to format the SD card and phone then re-install everything?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI attempted to use the new build.prop file to fix the market issue where some paid apps were not found for download.
Here is the process I used:
Download build.prop, place it on SD card. Use Root Explorer to copy build.prop into system/Deleted old build.prop file from system/ (I made a copy of the original and placed it in a folder on my SD card as a backup) Turned phone off. Turned phone back on and got to the Motorola logo, then the screen is black (backlight is still working, the screen is technically on, there just isn't anything on it).
Phone never gets to the boot animation and will not boot back up. Anyone know how I can fix this without having to flash the SBF 2.1 file again and re-root, install 2.2 update.zip, and download/setup all of my apps?

View 7 Replies View RelatedSo with the last few ROMs I've had installed, I've tried moving apps to the sdcard. I figured it would be a good thing, even if I wasn't running out of room. Every time I move more than just a few apps to the sdcard, my whole phone starts getting laggy. I just moved all of my apps back to phone and the "lagginess" is gone. I currently have UD8.0 installed, but it has behaved this way with LFY and Pete's BB ROMs as well. So it doesn't seem to be a ROM related.
