Jun 10, 2010I'm having an issue that I can't figure out...
I'm using HTC Email on my EVO and my Trash folder is showing completely empty on the phone, no matter what download options I set (xx messages, xx days, ALL). I know the Trash folder is not truly empty because my regular PC mail program shows over 9000 messages.
- my email is setup as an IMAP account through 1and1.com
- the Trash folder is the only one that is not showing any emails when it should be
- I have checked to make sure there's not an alternate Trash Emails, Garbage, Recycle Bin, etc folder that is being used for deleted emails on my email account
- this same behavior is being exhibited when I setup my email account on an HTC Hero

Sep 3, 2010I'm starting to get junk mail sent directly to my phone through my hotmail email account. I have added both the sender and the senders domain to the list using Windows Live Mail Beta. These emails are still getting through to my Droid X. First, there are no option on the phone to block emails is there? And secondly, there is not an option to add emails to any junk folder on the phone either that I have found. Anyone else having this problem? I've tried both adding my email accounts through Corporate (for hotmail/msn) and the email option on the phone.

Jul 29, 2010I'm a new Android user and I'm sure this will seem like a silly question, but for the life of me, I can't figure it out. I have two non-Gmail accounts set up using the stock email program: one Yahoo Mail and the other for my domain. The email account for my domain is set up as the default, so when I start a new email, it comes from that account. However, I can not figure out how to switch to the Yahoo Mail account to compose and send email without making the Yahoo Mail account the default account. There has to be some way to open your inbox or send a new message without switching which account is the default everytime, or at least I would think so.

Mar 23, 2010I'm wondering if anyone else has had their email accounts disappear? This has happened 3 times now. The first time was a few weeks ago after having the same accounts for months. The next time was a couple of weeks ago and then it happened again today. I checked my emails when I got to work, and then while I was sitting in a meeting, I picked up my phone to peek at emails and all 3 accounts were gone along with my corporate calendar account. I re-entered the accounts and it loads everything, but this is kind of annoying.

Jan 13, 2010Has anyone else had an issue with the Droid completely eliminating email accounts? This has happened to me twice now and it's such a pain in the butt. I have one Exchange account for work and one Pop account (yahoo). Both times I've gone to access my email and the accounts were just gone (my gmail account however remained in tact). I have to go and add them in again and adding Yahoo as a Pop account is no picnic. Does anyone know how to prevent this from happening or if that's even possible?

Jul 29, 2010I've had my Droid X for a week now. I'm coming from the Incredible. Both are great phones but I prefer the X. I have 3 email accounts setup on this phone. My corp account using the Corporate Sync and 2 personal accounts using IMAP. The Corporate Sync works fine but the IMAP accounts will only download email every few hours instead of every 15 minutes. If I reboot the phone, it will download new emails.

Jan 25, 2010All of our Droid's have lost the mail accounts at least once (when you go to email it shows the "new account wizard" - however, the old accounts still show in the "Sync" area. One of the devices seems to be doing it regularly. Wanted to see if anyone had advice with this issue, as I have heard other discussing the issue, but never seen resolution. Specific to the unit that has lost it several times. I factory reset the device last time to see if that would resolve it. It dropped it again not a week later. This unit is not rooted, and is at 2.0.1. The only other assumption I can make is possible problems with an APP?

Sep 6, 2010I don't know for the life of me how to see all my accounts I have with the stock email app. I have two AOL accounts, but every time I open the app, only one account shows up. I try pressing "back" and it exits the program. I also tried seeing what I can do when I press the settings button (first left button).

Aug 30, 2010When I delete a message from my K9 Mail app, it creates a label in my webmail account named "[imap]/trash". It also places a copy of the mesasge in the normal TRASH folder. I delete the [imap]/trash folder from my webmail account, but K9 re-creates it whenever I delete a message from the phone. How can I stop K9 from doing this, and only placing a copy in the normal TRASH folder?

May 14, 2010Why will the gmail app not empty the trash folder? If I delete an email on the phone and then switch to the trash folder my emails are there. I then select them all again to delete as you would expect. Yet each time I reload the trash folder all the deleted emails are still there. If I want to really delete them I have to go in to gmail with my pc.

Jan 9, 2010I bought the SNES emulator from market on my moto Droid. I then went to romhustler and downloaded 3 games. I made a folder for them and put them on my phone. I then pull up the snes emu the hit load rom, then clicked on the folder with my 3 downloaded games in it and it says folder empty. what am I doing wrong? I went to astrofile thingy and hit the zipped files to extract but when it hit extract nothing happens. Can anyone help me out?
