Does anyone know if it's possible to create a folder in addition to the standard ones (outbox, sent, deleted, etc) that exist in the stock HTC email program. I would like a way of saving certain emails and I don't know if there's a way for doing that.

Is there anyway to create folders on the "all programs" page you get when you push the widgets/apps button next to Phone? I'd like to push that button and then maybe see a games folder at the top and a media folder for camera apps and media players. Maybe a news/reference folder for my dictionaries, reference and news apps. The rest of the stuff I'd like to just leave there open and accessible.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have the D Inc and have a question. Is there anyone to create filters in Active Sync Exchange that filters out emails so they don't hit your Inc. I have a rule setup in Outlook that automatically sends an email sent by a specific email address to go directly to my deleted items in my Personal Folders in Outlook 2007. The reason why i ask is because on my BB Storm, I setup a filter that blocked these emails from going to my BB In box. I also remember on my Moto Q with Win Mobile I always also able to setup a filter as well. I work at a help desk with a ticket tracking system, the system sends an email for every ticket opened by the help desk to all help desk employees, so my in box can fill up quite quickly. I did notice that if I have Outlook opened up on my desktop these emails do not show up on my D Inc, but when I close Outlook (Like I did last night before I went home), they are showing up today on my Inc.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using the stock HTC e-mail program on my Droid Incredible to access my Gmail account. Up until recently, I would get a single notification for each new e-mail message that came in. Now when I get a notification that an e-mail has come in I get a follow-up notification every five minutes or so until I open my e-mail program. This started happening even though I didn't change any settings. I have been unable to find a setting either in HTC's e-mail or in Gmail to undo this. I think, but am not sure, that this started up when I upgraded to 2.3.4.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI'm starting to get junk mail sent directly to my phone through my hotmail email account. I have added both the sender and the senders domain to the list using Windows Live Mail Beta. These emails are still getting through to my Droid X. First, there are no option on the phone to block emails is there? And secondly, there is not an option to add emails to any junk folder on the phone either that I have found. Anyone else having this problem? I've tried both adding my email accounts through Corporate (for hotmail/msn) and the email option on the phone.

I have a large sentence in a textview which has an email id. On clicking on it, it opens my android email app. But The problem is that, I cannot add any subject or message in the mail. Is there any way of doing this using linkify ? Or do I have to use any other way for doing this. I initially used a textview which had just the email id, from which I could add the subject and message, but i will have to keep the email id in a separate line. I want the entire line in the textview where the email id comes in the middle of the sentence.

Well there is a /data folder on my Nexus and it's empty. If I try to make a new folder it says "cannot create new folder" in File Explorer that came with CM6.1. Astro greys out the create folder button. What am I missing? Also I saw that you can ADB push it. WTF does that mean? I know how to do some fastboot stuff, is it the same? Reboot the phone with the USB connected and run commands on my PC?
I'm looking to clean up my home screens a little and would like to be able to create one on-screen folder or widget that can hold multiple other widgets for quick access and easy launch. Specifically, I have quite a few ColorNote files that I need quick access too, but don't necessarily want clogging up my home screen. I'm hoping there's something out there - either a folder organizer, launcher, or widget that can do this for me.
I currently use GoLauncher and FolderOrganizer on my SG Note.
My wife convinced me to get an xperia X10 because she loves hers so much. My previous phone was a Palm Centroid and I needed a new phone because the power button was very difficult to activate. On my Sandro, I was able to create a personal apps folder of the apps I use the most. The Quick Start guide that came with my phone has two pages explaining basic functions. One box shows being able to Move/Delete Icons, but it only shows how to delete them. Use the long Touvh to move it to the trash can icon. But I don't want to delete them, I want to move or copy them to a personal apps folder.

I have a folder where I store all my movie videos that I would like quick access. The Gallery is much too slow having to search all my pictures and videos on my entire 16GB SD Card to populate and it doesn't even display the video name (its difficult to identify movies by the small thumbnail it displays). The best way to launch these currently I find is to traverse the directory tree using an explorer app, but I prefer a quicker method if possible.
